Retiring and like this opportunity....What is expected rate for dog sitting and walking (to the doggied beach) in Clearwater, Florida?

Every area is different. A good place to start is to browse Sitter profiles in your local area to get an idea of the average rates for services in your area.
It is often recommended to set your rates $1-$2 lower on average when you first start out. I would recommend just keeping it within the same range. Going too low can hurt other sitters and you may not attract the clientele you want.
It also depends on your prior experience before joining Rover. You can include pet sitting for family, friends, neighbors, etc. and how many years, your knowledge and if you have a background in the "animal husbandry" field. Make sure to have family, friends, neighbors, etc. that you have pet sat for to send a "Testimonial".
