Last Minute Requests
Other sitters, how do you handle this? Do you have a "book within X number of days policy"? I got a number of requests in the days leading right up to Easter weekend (no surprise there), but it made scheduling Meet and Greets kind of challenging, especially since I'm completely unavailable two days a week. I kind of wish Rover had an option where they would automatically mark you as Unavailable so many hours/days prior to a date. For example, if I want at least 72 hours notice, than if I've marked myself as Available on Wednesday the 8th, it will automatically change it to Unavailable when Monday rolls around. Obviously, this feature would need to have an on/off switch and allow you to enter the number of hours/days you prefer. It's just tough when a client contacts me on a Wednesday morning for a Friday morning drop off, and Thursdays are a completely taken over by my "real" job. It puts us in the position of having to say "No" to more requests. I suppose I could put something in my profile...
