Hosting a holiday "Happy Hour" for clients?

I am going to be home for the holidays and am able to take in more dogs because of the free time. I wanted to do something fun for my regular clients and help promote my services a little bit more. I know a lot of local businesses and some sitters will host a pup pool party or a happy hour. Has anyone hosted either? Does it help promote buisiness?

Hi Laryssa: I don't take dogs in my home, but if I did, a holiday party sounds fun! And possibly chaotic...if you're up to it! I can imagine taking cute pics of the dogs with Santa hats on with a sign that reads "Merry Christmas" or "Happy Holidays", etc. I think it would be memorable to your clients, and very convenient - especially if they are hosting a celebration in their home... and like my dog, their dog would be better off having supervised play elsewhere. I say GO FOR IT!!
