I have completed a sitting job and I still have a pending balance, its been 2 days now?

I have just completed a sitting job and the balance in my account is still pending. Why is that? When will it become available?

Comments

It will be available 48 hours after the sit ends. It isn't clear exactly when your sit ended. The subject lines says 2 days, but then you said you just completed. It will be on the day 48 hours after the sit is over. Also remember that Rover is on the West Coast and you are on the East Coast.

Remember to take into consideration that the 48 hours starts the day AFTER the booking. For instance: Even if the Owner picks up their dog from an overnight at 10AM on a Tuesday, the 48 hours starts on Wednesday. So the money would be there on Friday morning.

I had a sit end Sunday 10/30 at 2 pm and I was paid on Tuesday 11/2. It's 48 hours after the stay ends, not calendar or business days. If it's been 48 hours since your stay ended, check your available balance, then call Rover support if it's not there.

In addition to the 48 hours, everyone else has mentioned you should also check to see that your Rover fees are all paid (insurance that is paid as you go through the app) It wasn't clear to me at first that the reason I wasn't getting paid was because I hadn't finished paying off my dues to Rover.

I would call Rover Customer Service and ask what's up. I had a stay end on Sunday and I've already withdrawn my balance

Usually it takes less than 48 hours, but if the stay ended on a weekend it will usually not release until 48 weekday hours. You should have it by end of day Tuesday, but it can't hurt to call Rover if you're worried!

Sorry, Carly, but that is completely false. Rover does not go by "business" days when it comes to the 48-hour wait period.

Karen is correct. The 48 hours includes weekends, holidays etc.
