How long do pending request stay in the pending section if no response from owner ?

I have a request for pending dates in December but the owner has not gotten back to me with a scheduled meet and greet (which they said they would). 8 days later I have asked them if we are still looking to meet and greet and I still have received no response. If I archive them due to lack of response can they still respond on a later date to the same request.

Hi, Michael. I believe that until you archive their request, it will remain in your inbox. If you do archive it, you can mark it as "Owner didn't respond" and if they choose to get back with you at a later time, you will still receive their message normally regardless of if it is archived. If they do respond, you can simply select "unarchive" to place their message back in your pending inbox. It isn't unusual to not hear back from new potential clients every once in a while.

Yes, the client can still contact you even after you have archived their request. I have had several clients ask for my availability for a future repeat stay by just continuing an archived message string.
