I am scrolling through the list of sitters but I do not see my profile up yet. My profile has been approved. I want to send out an announcement on social media promoting myself. I want to make it as easy as possible for people to find my profile and contact me directly. What could be the problem?
If you're looking to share your profile through social media, go to the drop-down menu next to your name/photo at the top right hand corner of the Rover.com page and select Profile. From here, the fourth box to the right is called Promote and you can select Share Your Profile from the choices in that box. This will take you to a page where you can choose to share it on Facebook, Twitter, NextDoor, Craigslist and a couple of other places. These will all include a link directly to your profile, they won't have to scroll through anything this way. It appears that your profile is live; maybe try logging out and then searching for yourself again to see if you show up. Good luck!

If you haven't already claimed your link, then yes, I would recommend that you do so ASAP. Make sure that you have created a promo code too, though!
Can you send me an example of what a promo code would look like? I promoted through facebook already can go back and add the promo code once it is created?
Mine is clcdog20, which is my initials plus 'dog' + 20% off. You can make up anything you like for your personal code.
Hi Mallorie: I took a peek at your profile, and it looks like you don't have a service area selected, so maybe that's why you aren't showing up in searches?
Where is that field located? I put 7 miles in the field that says: What is the maximum distance you'll travel to get to a client's home?
I think there is just a bug right now w/ the service area radius appearing on the map. Mine hasn't been showing on and off for the last few days and my profile has been up for over a year. If you have filled it out, I'm sure you're good!
