If I have selected that I am only accepting repeat/previous clients for a service, will this prevent people who are not my previous clients from being able to book that service? Or will the site still allow them to submit a booking request?

Accepting only repeat clients removes your profile from search results while still allowing your current clients to contact you with requests.

I'm not sure, but I believe if someone (a potential new client) entered in your profile address, they could view your profile and contact you. However, you would not show up in searches; a person would need to know your address/link. At least, I think that's how it works.
I switched my house sitting service to repeat clients only and I still receive requests from new customers.
