What should I charge to do 3 visits daily for 2 dogs on a holiday weekend?
I see your drop in rate is $12 a visit, can't see if you have a holiday rate? I would think $15 per visit or $45 for each day. But how far you have to travel to the client may make you ask for more!
I suggested they stay at my house so they wouldn't have to be crated. Thanks for your reply, my next step is to find out how far away they are.
For me it would depend on how far away from you the client lives. IRS mileage rate (I think) is about 54 cents a mile, so for me, anything over 5 miles either doesn't get accepted or I charge extra for the mileage and drive time. For 3 visits are you available for boarding? If so, I'd suggest it. Less time on your part, and it might be cheaper for the client.
I charge $12 per visit for the first dog, and $10 for each additional dog, per visit. Clean up, feedings, walkings are all more work with multiple dogs. I don't charge regular clients the holiday rate, only clients who use services only on holidays. Hope this helps.
