What type of cover picture?

I need to upload a cover picture, something that displays my own dog, home or yard. Unfortunately I do not have a dog and live in an apartment building, therefore I will not be having dogs stay with me only I will go stay with them. What type of picture should I upload for my cover picture?

For my cover picture I have a me and my dog after her first bath! I would say anything with you and your dog/dogs or your yard. Something like that!

For your cover photo you could use a picture of yourself at a park, beach or doing something dog friendly (with a dog if possible!) so owners get a feel for what their pets would do while with you!

Owners won't see the cover photo until they click on your profile, so I think your profile picture is of higher importance. If you have any friends or neighbors with dogs you could borrow for a mini photo shoot, I think that would be perfect :)

Hello Lisa, the key basics to use when uploading your picture are, make sure it is a clear image that has good lighting. Another is smile and show some teeth, people tend to be more receptive to a happy friendly image and will be more likely to reach out to you to take care of their pet. Hope these tips help. :)

The profile pic is usually that of the sitter. In your gallery, since you are not boarding dogs, I suggest you upload pics of other dogs you've taken care of while out on walks.

I used photos of my friend's dogs (cause I have like a million of them because they are so dang cute and goofy) and I used my then Facebook photo for my profile picture. So, if you have friends with dogs, I would ask if you could use photos that you take of them on your profile.
