How does Rover pay for extended stays?

If I book a job that last 6 months, does Rover hold those funds all the way until the end? or do they pay on some form of schedule? I tired looking through the forums and couldn't find anything except that they would pay 48 hours after the stay is over. That just seems a little excessive for such a long booking.

Thanks

You are paid within 24 hours after the stay is completed. Unfortunately, if the booking is booked from the start to the end and it last 6 months, you will be paid out after the 6 months have past.

The way around that is to ask your client to book it in one month chunks, or two week chunks, though that might be asking a bit much to "re-book" it 12 times vs. 6 times. Congrats on such a nice long gig!

People have suggested that you book it in smaller increments (e.g., two-week periods) so that you can be paid on a more regular basis. Talk it over with the client. I'm sure you can get it worked out.

Having multiple booking over time benefits both the sitter and the client. If a big block of time is booked the client pays for all of it at the time of booking, it can kill their credit card, plus the sitter doesn't get paid until the end of the booking. I always have my clients book 1-2 at a time, Win WIn for all
