Why is there a red dot next to the Rover number for the owner who contacted me?

I was just contacted by someone who said they needed a dog sitter at the last minute and I immediately responding, letting them know I was available. She had two dogs, but submitted the booking with only 1 and asked me what my rate was for both dogs. I told her, have not heard back but the dot next to her Rover number is now red instead of green. I have only noticed this happen once or twice in the past when the owner never responded back, or their plans changed. Does anyone know what this red dot signifies?

Hi Sean: Try hovering over the dot....a message should pop up. I've only seen the red dot when I have archived a request, so I see "(client's name) can no longer be contacted" or something similar. Perhaps the person that contacted you went with another sitter?

The message that goes with one of my red dots - "You may not call xxx now. Ask them to change their preferences!"

Some profiles have quiet hours (in the evening or morning) or are setup to only allow contact after a stay has been booked. It all depends on the preferences setup by the client when making their profile. Like Mary said, if you hover over it, it should tell you why the dot is red.
