how much will turning down a stay hurt my search ranking?

My account got activated today, and already I got 2 requests for dogs to stay at my house for the day, which I'm super excited about. Unfortunately I had to turn one of them down since it was very short notice, and I had just arranged something else on that day that I cannot miss.

Does anyone know how much this will hurt my search ranking?

It may, but Rover gives new sitters a boost in ratings to help them get started so it shouldn't make a huge difference. Don't let yourself get too hung up on ratings. If you are doing your best, are mostly booked, and you and your clients are safe and healthy, it will all even out. Clients will notice.
