Did everyone who signed up for Rover provide their SSN?

I'm afraid to provide my SSN and was just wondering if all of you have submitted it. If not, how did you go around it when setting up your profile?

Thanks much, Myriame

I think it's used for reporting earnings to IRS, and perhaps to eVerify employment eligibility. There have been other questions along those lines too. If you could post back what you learn from Rover, that would help others.

I did provide it because they use it for the background check. I think they also need your SSN for tax reporting purposes, but I'm not certain.

I was hesitant too, but couldn't find a way around it. I'm sure you could call Rover support and ask if there is a way!

Rover does not report our earnings. I came upon this question at tax time. They leave it to Pay Pal, and they only report it if it is over I believe $20,000
