Is 4th of July a popular booking date?

Where does it state what the popular holidays are for bookings?

Is 4th of July one of them?

Do people tend to book as close as the week before?

Thanks for the feedback.

I got completely booked for the 4th a few weeks ago - which I am grateful for, but also sad I had to turn away so many requests. I wont take more than 2 dogs at at time - 3 if its only the day of one is leaving, and one is coming. So I got two full week ones that run into that weekend and the week after.

July 4th is considered a holiday time for sitters, meaning it should get pretty busy.

Really proactive pet parents will book several weeks out, knowing that holidays tend to fill quickly. There are many sitters in my area that are already completely booked for the weekend of July 4th. But, people will continue to send requests up until the last minute.

One of my regulars booked 4th of July before Memorial Day. I picked up 2 more by the first week of June. I had requests for even more but one of my bookings is for a young Great Dane who is new to us. I decided not to book anyone else until we get to know the Great Dane a bit better.

I like Holiday bookings because it's a great time to establish potential regular clients. Once they see what a great job my teen sons and I do taking care of their dog(s) it increases the likelihood they'll come back to us during slower times.
