first time pet sitting/payment not received?

I pet sat for the very first time through http://Rover.com and I am not getting any money. I tried to cancel the Rover Assist before the client booked and I couldn't change it. I didn't realize they would keep all of my money. I am really mad. Considering not using rover again

I thought the agreement was 80 20

How long has it been since the stay ended? It does take two days for your funds to be released to you after the end of a stay.

Your profile shows you signed up for the optional Rover's Protection Package which costs $49.95 annually unless cancelled. Rover does not require that additional package. I understand that amount comes out of your bookings. After that, you should be paid whatever percentage based on when you signed up and if you choose any optional programs such as RoverGo or RoverMatch.

The dashboard shows payments and you can check if set to automatically deposit in PayPal, etc. You may want to contact Rover directly to resolve your specific questions.

I believe that if you sign up for one of Rover's optional programs (RoverGo, etc.) that you are bound to that for the first year. They use money from the booking to cover that initial cost of the program, and then you receive your cut from bookings after that initial cost has been covered. For me, my first booking went to cover my RoverGo membership, and now I receive 75% of my sales.

I wish the Rover Protection plan was similar to RoverGo. I think it would be more equitable to take a percentage of the booking instead of a flat annual fee. Maybe $10 initial enrollment and 1-2% of each booking. (Just saying in case someone from Rover reads this.).
