I recently joined Rover. I had some outside clients of mine come on here to leave reviews so I would have some "clout" as a new member. However, do you only get stars if the reviewer was a direct Rover client?
Only Rover customers can give you a "star" rating. You can ask other people to leave you a testimonial, but there are no stars associated with those.
That's the way I understand it. New members can't have verified reviews. But, having something (friends, associates) is better than nothing at all. After stays are booked by Rover, then the stars signify a greater degree of trust and accountability. For example, I read elsewhere[1] that Rover terminates accounts with 3 stars or less.
