How do I make this clear on my profile?

I am a new sitter - on my profile, I have indicated that I have two Siberian Huskies and cannot board small dogs in my home. However, I have gotten five requests (just started about a week ago) and they have all been tiny dogs! I have informed the owners and helped them find alternative sitters, the interactions have been very pleasant and friendly, but I feel bad! How can I make this explicitly clear on my profile without making it a negative thing? I don't want to say "my dogs will think your dog is a squirrel and hunt it if it's under 15 lb.!", but with huskies, that is the unfortunate truth.

Thanks!

I read your profile. In About you section, you clearly wrote that you have 2 huskies and included a note about small dogs. However, some pet parents will not always read profiles closely. So, maybe after your statement I can handle it all, write another couple sentences such as: You are happy hosting large and medium dogs at your home. For safety reasons, you offer house sitting, visits, and walks for small dogs (as well as medium and large) at their homes.

On your Profile under Services & Rates click Dog Preferences. You can specify there what size dogs you can host. Once you do that, technically your name should not even come up when people search for a sitter for their small dogs.

It doesn't work like that. I just changed pref to large/jumbo. Then searched as if I have a small dog. My profile appeared as someone who will take small dogs. My impression is that Rover is setup to facilitate the most booking potential, not to make our lives easier. :)

Yeah. That's why I said "technically". What changing that preference does do is show what size dog you will host on your profile.
