Hello everyone, I am an international student and I don't have a social. Is it okay if i don't have a background check. would that be a huge disadvantage?

I'm not sure that it's possible to be a Rover sitter without having a background check done. I recommend contacting Rover Support.

As far as I know, the background check is still optional, but you do need to be sure that you're legally allowed to work in the US. Check on any restrictions on your visa before proceeding.
