“Our dog was taken good care of by Morgan. We were highly satisfied, esp it was our first time leaving our dog with someone else. We will definately take our dog back to her again anytime we need help. May God bless the works of her hands.”

“I was nervous about leaving our dog for a 9-day stay, when the most we had ever been away from her was for 3 days. But Jenn took wonderful care of our dog, sent daily pictures and updates, and I soon realized our dog was having a vacation of her own. From other dogs to play with, a fenced backyard and doggy door, our dog lived her best life. Thanks Jenn for taking excellent care of Ellie!”

“Shaye was absolutely wonderful! Super responsive and gave us updates throughout the entire stay. My dog got along super well with her sweet pups. They had an absolute blast! I highly recommend Shaye :)”

“Paula was absolutely amazing !! Ruby was so happy and spoiled during her stay. Paula sent adorable pictures and videos of Ruby every day. I am definitely going to use Paula again. I would recommend her to anyone!!”

“Our Beagle enjoyed his weekend stay with Yulian and her husband. He was uneasy, as we knew he would be, when we dropped him off, but soon got acquainted with them and their dog. We were sent regular updates with pictures that made us feel at ease. We will definitely consider them again for our future travels!”

“Meghan was very accommodating with my senior special needs dog. He needed the comfort of someone's home. Her children were an added bonus because he loves kids. We don't travel often so being able to find a place Woody felt comfortable as well as myself helped relieve the anxiety of traveling. Our drop off and pick up time needed to be flexible and Meghan was very available via text to and work with those times on the fly. If we have to travel again I will feel comfortable leaving Woody with her.”

“Chloe was awesome with my pup Angus. She provided excellent services and communication throughout the sitting period. I will definitely be using her for future sittings! Thank you Chloe!”

About: I’ve been tasked to take care of all kinds of animals for as long as I can remember. All of my family and friends have been able to rely on me to host or sit their pet from farm animals to house pets when need be. I work night shifts and free on the weekends so I’m always able to take care of pets. And I have a dog of my own so pet care is a every day thing for me. I have a fenced in backyard, doggy door and a lead attachment for dogs I host and my own dog to come and go as they please along with plenty of space to play in either the garage or one of 3 bedrooms.
“First off I want to thank Brittney and her family for taking us last minute she was absolutely a blessing. Cooper fit right in with her and the family you could tell they love animals right away, needless to say Cooper had the best time cuddling with her kids and even her husband whom was awesome as well I will definitely be using them again in the near future”

“Wonderful communication! She was super flexible with pick up and drop off times. Her dogs got along so well with our pup! He truly seems like he had the best time playing all weekend long! About: I’ve been caring for dogs for over 20 years and have experience with puppies, senior dogs, and dogs of all sizes and personalities. As a lifelong dog owner and elementary school teacher, I’m patient, dependable, and attentive to every pet’s unique needs. I have a large fenced-in yard where dogs can safely run and play, as well as a friendly black Lab who loves having canine visitors. He’s playful and social but also respectful of dogs who prefer a quieter, more relaxed environment. Whether your dog needs exercise, cuddles, medication, or simply companionship while you’re away, I’ll make sure they feel safe, loved, and well cared for. I’ll treat your pet like one of my own and keep you updated with photos and messages so you can enjoy peace of mind while you’re away. I’m currently off for the summer, so I have a very flexible schedule and plenty of time to give your pet the attention they deserve. Whether your dog needs daycare, overnight boarding, walks, or drop-in visits, I’ll make sure they get lots of playtime, exercise, cuddles, and companionship. I can accommodate most schedules and will do my best to meet your pet’s routine. Safety, Trust & Environment My home is a safe, welcoming place for dogs to relax and have fun. I have a fully fenced yard where they can run and play under supervision, and my friendly black Lab enjoys having visitors but is gentle with dogs who prefer their own space. Whether your pet is energetic or more laid-back, I’ll make sure they feel comfortable and cared for. I maintain a clean, secure environment, closely supervise outdoor time, and follow all feeding, medication, and care instructions provided by owners. My goal is to make your dog feel right at home while giving you peace of mind.

“I could not have asked for a better host. Ashley is extremely sweet, caring, responsible and very thorough. I felt completely comfortable leaving Abby in her care. Ashley's dog Sally is a sweetheart and got along very well with Abby. I loved that Abby would have a playmate during this stay. Ashley was also very communicative. She sent me texts to ask any questions as well as regular photo updates throughout the stay. When I picked Abby up, I could tell that she was happy, playful, and well taken care of. Thank you, Ashley & Sally! See you very soon!”
About: In the previous 10+ years, I have been taking care of horses and dogs. I have extensive equine knowledge due to my degree and previous employments. I am comfortable giving both horse and dog medicines of various types. As for dogs, I have done all the training on my own, I’m comfortable with puppies, can handle different temperaments, senior care, and special needs cases. I’m willing to also offer drop in services for equines and other animals. Please message me with any questions you may have! I work from home, so I am around most of the time. If I’m out running errands, it tends to be a couple hours away from home. I have a fenced in yard where the dogs can run and play freely. I also have acreage for long walks. I have two dogs of my own that are very friendly and love friends. I feed my dogs separately from your dogs and am flexible to accommodate your dog

About: I have had pets my whole life up! I'm a full time stay at home mom with 3 kiddos (2 in school and 1 not in school cause shes a baby!) I am looking to earn a little pocket change while hopefully helping someone out with their fur babies. Most times I will have to come with my baby in her carrier for now, but certain times I may be able to work around that, so please dont hesitate to ask! I am willing to travel as far as Kansas City/Overland Park, Pittsburg, and Joplin/Springfield, or basically within an hour and half for house sitting. As a mom I am not able to stay in your home for house sitting, I could consider pet care inside my home on a case-by-case basis. For daily walks, we will have to agree on a price if its farther than Nevada, El Dorado Springs. I live on a few acres with cats, a dog, chickens, and ducks. I have experience with a lot of different types of animals as well including fish and smaller caged critters. I have experience working with service dogs as well. If you have any questions, please reach out! Im super flexible and would love to be able to help you any way that I can. I am a stay at home mom with 2 of 3 kiddos in school. My schedule is very open. Whatever work you're needing with your animals, please reach out. Animal care in my home will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Animal care in your home will be as requested by you. I typically could not do overnight care as I've got kiddos in school and will most likely have to travel a bit to help you with your animals, but on weekends or breaks I can consider it.

Many sitters in MO ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
