About: I have always had pets . I grew up helping my mother groom and take care of dogs. I would do anything for an animal. I am available all 24/7 everyday. I am willing to work any day of the week. I am availability because this is my only job, and I am passionate. I have been lucky enough to be raised with dogs my entire life. My family were breeders for standard poodles at one point, which was amazing to watch and learn about. I am no stranger to special needs, administering meds, able to provide short term care until help arrives. I love all dog breeds equally and will treat your dog like my own. This is my passion. I have 2 guest rooms that can be turned into private doggo apartments. If your pets need exercise I can provide. If they need relaxation, I love cuddles on the couch. We have crates of all sizes, beds for any size dog, dog gates for stairs, enough rooms to spread out and separate if needed, and live minutes away from a fenced in dog park. We live 3 minutes from 2 vet clinics and we use them for our own dogs. We have security cameras in the house with 2 way speakers if we need to step out for any reason. Please let us know about your dogs temperament with other dogs ahead of time. If your dog has special needs or quirks around certain people. We are happy to share our dogs food but would prefer food is delivered with the dog for stays. We are used to dogs that have a tendency to run if given the chance but appreciate heads up so we can be extra attentive.

“Jalaina did a great job looking after my dog Baxter. Typically, I board him with a kennel, but he hates being in a cage and restricted. Jalaina was all I could have hoped for. She sent numerous pictures of Baxter that allowed me to have peace of mind when I needed a last minute sitter and a “homey” environment for Baxter. He warmed up to her immediately and even got comfy on her couch. Also, she walked him daily and when I picked him up he wasn’t anxious as he has been in kennel environments. I almost forgot to mention that she watched my Mom’s dog as well in the same weekend. We wanted to board them together because they are with each other most days. I can’t say enough about Jalaina and her sweet and gentle spirit which is why I think both dogs had such an enjoyable stay and I will not hesitate to book her again.”

They inspired me to pet my dog more. My daughter asked me do you pet Oreo, Mom. I told her occasionally. After watching this family love on my dog by the attention they gave her, I left their home with a whole new attitude. I went straight to Meijer and bought her a new bed and a few other things she direly needed. I thank God for this family they have been such a great blessing to me and Oreo. This was our first time leaving our 8-month Frenchie with anyone outside of family and we were very anxious with it being over a holiday weekend. Savannah was very communicative and completely open to a meet and greet beforehand. She asked questions that made me confident including Jelly's medical history, who her vet was, and what her schedule was like. I told her we were interested in Doggy Daycare to give Jelly someone to playtime, and she made sure she had another dog or two over every day Jelly was there (with permission). We were given updates including pictures and videos. I never felt like I didn't know what was going on or like I was a bother in checking in. She does have cameras in her home which made me comfortable that she had eyes on Jelly even if she wasn't there in person. At pickup, she provided a great overview of the weekend and expressed she'd love to have Jelly back anytime. I don't leave reviews often but, I obsessively looked at business like boarding options in the area for weeks before a friend told me about Rover. I was so worried about leaving my pup in a big building where she'd just be in a kennel and it would be extra cost for playtime, and I'd have to call in for updates...I was just very anxious and uncomfortable. So, I was relieved when I found I might be able to leave her with someone in their home, which was also anxiety provoking, but I couldn't be happier with our decision. We will absolutely be utilizing Savannah again and will be recommending her to any of our friends who have a need :)
