This was the first time I had to leave my dog with someone I didn't know and Louise really went out of her way to make sure Miko was comfortable and happy. He stayed with them for 11 days and because Miko needs to be introduced to new dogs slowly we did two meet-and-greets before I dropped him off. Winston is an absolute rockstar and Louise is so knowledgeable on how to manage dog interactions. When Miko cried the first night Lukasz slept on the couch with him. Miko was also allowed to sleep snuggled up with Louise. And finally when I was a day late picking him up because my international flight was turned around Louise was incredibly helpful and assured me she could keep him for more days. Huge thank you to Louise, Lukasz and Winston!”

We're both from Australia, but since May this year, we've been pet sitting our way around Canada while on working holiday visas. About: Experience taking care of various animals with a variety of needs including senior dogs and behaviourally challenged dogs. Have lived with dogs and cats my entire life! I am currently on maternity leave and plan to return to work part time. This leaves me with a flexible schedule to meet your pets needs! I would love to babysit your furry friends! I have a small fenced area in our yard and 2.5 acres of property. Comfortable taking dogs on walks around the area or playing with them in the yard to tire them out! Have done long term house sits as well, taking care of dogs, cats, and chickens. Pets must be okay with children as we have one child in the home 🙂

About: I have enjoyed caring for pets since I was a young child growing up with a cat. I appreciate the fresh air, exercise, and playfulness of caring for pets. I will be glad to do what it takes to meet the specific needs of your loved one(s)! I'm currently working remotely with a flexible schedule, so I am available to care for pets on basically any type of schedule. I am happy to work around your routine. Frequent sessions to play with or care for pets are fine! I'm living in 100 Mile House right now, but I'm looking to spend some time away in the upcoming season. I would come to you by long-distance bus, so I'm not able to do an in-person meet-and-greet. I'm happy to do a detailed call ahead of time to explore a possible fit. Safety is paramount :) When I walk dogs and cats, I double-wrap the leash around my wrist to keep a safe grip. I am careful to keep awareness of the pets' whereabouts at all times.
