About: Your Pup’s Home Away From Home! 🐾 We are a family of three and we treat every guest like one of our own, ensuring they feel safe, loved, and fully pampered. What We Offer: Active Lifestyle: We love long walks and have a fully fenced yard perfect for zoomies and sunbathing. Crate-Friendly Home: We are experienced with kennel training and prefer dogs who are comfortable in their "den." Cozy Environment: Whether it's playtime in the yard or cuddles on the couch, your dog will be part of our daily rhythm. Our Schedule: We are home most of the time, though from Tuesday to Thursday, we work from 8 till 3 but between the two of us the pup will be able to have a pee break during the day. For this reason, we are a great fit for dogs who can relax comfortably in their kennel for a few hours at a time. We can’t wait to meet your pup and provide them with a fun, secure, and loving environment while you’re away! We are home most of the time, though from Tuesday to Thursday, we work during the day. For this reason, we are a great fit for dogs who can relax comfortably in their kennel for a few hours at a time. Our Care Philosophy: Family First 🐾 Coming from a home that loved a Shih Tzu for many years, we know that every dog has a unique personality and specific needs. We don't just "watch" your dog; we welcome them into our daily lives as a temporary family member. Safety & Security Fully Fenced Yard: Your pup can enjoy the fresh air safely. We always supervise yard time to ensure everyone is playing nice and staying secure. Kennel Comfort: We are big believers in the "den" environment. If your dog is kennel trained, we maintain that routine to reduce anxiety and give them a safe space to rest while we are out or during bedtime. Leashed Adventures: Our morning and evening walks are always on-leash, exploring the neighborhood at a pace that suits your dog’s energy level. Personalized Attention Companionship: Since someone is usually home throughout the day, your dog won't be lonely. Whether we’re working nearby or relaxing in the living room, they’ll have human company. Consistency is Key: We stick to your feeding and medication schedule exactly as you do at home to keep their tummy and health on track. Fresh Water & Treats: We keep the bowls full of fresh water and (with your permission!) provide healthy treats for being "good boys and girls." Communication with You We know how hard it is to be away from your fur baby. We make sure to send: Daily Photo Updates: Action shots from our long walks or cute photos of them lounging in the yard. Quick Check-ins: A quick text to let you know they’ve eaten and are settling in well. Peace of Mind: You can enjoy your trip knowing we are treating your pup exactly how we’d want our own to be treated.
About: With 15 years in healthcare, I bring a level of responsibility, calm attentiveness, and a safety-first mindset to every pet. My personal experience includes a lifetime with pets, volunteering at the SPCA, and fostering cats and kittens. Whether your pup needs a fun midday walk, or your furry friend requires in-home sitting, I’m dedicated to keeping your pets happy and healthy while you're at work or traveling. Your furry family members receive dedicated, specialized care from someone who truly understands and loves animals. I'm currently working full time, but evenings after 4 pm, weekends and every second Friday I am available completely to take care of your furry family member. I can also work from home one day per week, which is usually a Monday or Thursday so I would be able to spend the day with your furry friends on those days too. I prioritize comfort for your fur babies in their own home by staying calm, being attentive and making sure your babies are happy and content.
“We were so lucky to have Jadelyn and Alex stay with our senior dog! She requires a lot of companionship and it’s hard for one person to be there as much as we need. They are a two for one deal and it worked out perfectly for us! They are both caring and attentive people!”

“Alexandra was amazing! She watched our dogs for 4 days. Kept in touch the whole time and sent lots of pictures. On the last day our dog had an emergency. She rushed him to the vet and took great care of him till I could get back. Highly recommend her and will be booking with her again.”

“Ashlynn was very responsive and I had full confidence that my cats were being well cared for. She sent frequent updates with lots of wonderful pictures for me to see while I was away. “Jade is incredible! It was such a huge relief knowing our pups were in great hands while we were away for our wedding. We loved to see all the photos she sent throughout the day and it gave us so much peace of mind knowing they were having the best time. About: I have had dogs my whole life, all breeds and sizes. I currently have 2 golden retrievers, Rosie and Chauncey and I love them so much and yes they both sleep in the bed with me! I want another one but those puppy stages are bananas, so not right now but one day. I feel like I can reads dog well with when they want space and when they want to play. You can trust that your dogs will be taken care of when I’m taking care of them, kisses and hugs all the time! Currently I work at a golf course and the season is over middle of October so my availability will be more flexible after this time. I try and not disrupt their daily routine. When I go out of town and my brother isn’t able to watch my 2 dogs I appreciate someone that has dogs or has grown up with them because they understand the importance for me about the care of my dogs and how they live their day to day schedule.

About: Hi! I’m Sam — lifelong animal lover and proud pet owner since I was three. I’ve looked after so many pets over the years that I’ve basically become the go‑to sitter for friends and family. I adore dogs, cats, and all furry friends, and I love getting to know each pet’s unique personality. I’m patient, gentle, and great with both cuddly and independent pets. I’ll follow your instructions carefully and keep you updated so you never have to wonder how your pet is doing. Your pet will get tons of love, attention, and care while you’re away I’m a university student with a very open daytime schedule, and I only work part‑time in the evenings. That gives me lots of time for walks, playtime, and check‑ins during the day, plus I’m home in the evenings to give your pet attention and keep their routine steady I love to play with the dogs and make sure that they feel loved especially when their owner is not home and make them feel comfortable although they don’t know me.

“We had the absolute best experience with our cat sitter! 🐾 She kept us updated the whole time, and our fur baby was both well-fed and super entertained. 🐱 Everything went so smoothly, which was amazing since it was our first time ever using this service. We will definitely recommend Ashley to everyone and will 100% book her again! ❤️”

“Mae did an amazing job caring for our two dogs and two cats. She managed to win over our very timid senior cat, who shys away from eating and taking her meds. Mae had her eating and taking her meds without an issue. We appreciated Mae's regular communication with comments, pics and videos of our pets while they were in her care. It was clear our pets were happy and well looked after. It gave us peace of mind while we were away. I would highly recommend Mae to anyone in need of pet care!”

It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Warman maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Garbage & recycling: Taking garbage bins to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Warman walking routes, the location of your favourite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Warman choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
You can find what you need to review a sitter on their profile before booking with them. Each sitters’s profile on Rover shows verified reviews, identity check, and ratings to give a glimpse of how their previous visits went. You can also use the Meet & Greet to walk through your home, identifying which areas, like your bedroom, are off-limits or not. Requesting details of your home security through the app can also be a good way to have your sitter keep you updated about your home.
If you have security cameras or doorbells, Rover asks that you disclose them to sitters before you book.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they do not have any disqualifying offences.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a veterinary professional or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means Rover Support will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
