About: Hi! I’m a lifelong animal lover who has cared for my own dogs and cats for many years, while also fostering numerous animals with a wide range of personalities and care needs. I understand how important it is to find someone you can trust to care for your pets like family. I have experience supporting medically fragile pets, including administering insulin, inhalers, oral medications, and providing care for senior or incontinent animals. I’m patient, attentive, and dedicated to making sure every pet feels safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. Whether your pet needs extra medical support, a calm environment, or simply lots of affection and attention, I’m committed to maintaining their routine and comfort every step of the way. I’ll also keep you updated with regular messages and photos for peace of mind. I'm very lucky to work remotely and can set up a workspace anywhere there's an internet connection. I have a flexible schedule and can make time for walks or visits anytime. I have a large yard and one big friendly dog. He absolutely loves everyone he meets but is also good at giving space to those who need it. He's great at reading social queues from other pups and cats. I live on a quiet country road that makes for great walks. I tend to let our dog on our furniture but are fine to keep to your rules for furniture. In your home, I'll follow your set routine for your pets.

As a former Kennel Attendant at Kingston Humane Society, I’m experienced with daily feeding, watering, exercise, enrichment, and closely monitoring animal health and behavior. I’m confident following specific care instructions, administering basic care as directed, and recognizing when something doesn’t seem right. Cleanliness and safety are very important to me, and I always ensure food areas, supplies, and living spaces are kept sanitary and organized. I’m patient, gentle, and comfortable handling animals with different personalities, energy levels, and needs. Whether your pet loves long walks, playtime, or just quiet companionship, I make sure they feel secure, happy, and loved. I understand how important it is to trust someone with your pet, and I treat every animal as if they were my own. I will provide updates so you can have peace of mind while you’re away.
