About: I’ve been taking care of a wide range of animals since I was young. Whether it was cats, dogs, pigs, hamsters, fish- I’ve always made sure they were living the highest quality of life. I’ve dealt with dogs with a lot of health issues such as epilepsy and brain damage. Cats with hairball issues or ones that take a lot of medication. The elderly and the young. No matter what I always put their well-being first. I plan on doing this full-time for right now so I am available any day any anytime of the week. My schedule is very flexible. At the time, I am not doing pet care at my home but when I am at a client home, of course, it is up to what they would like. Though, for the most part, I am very laid-back and I have no problem with your pet sleeping or being out with me. I’m fine with taking them out as much as they need to go. Also, if they have certain schedules for things, I make sure I am right on time for it such as medication or feeding.

I always make sure to do a meet and greet first to make sure everyone knows each other. If she is with me on walk days, she waits in the car or van for her furry friends to come out to walk. There is no furry friend or human she meets who doesn’t love her and vice versa. I raised two Rhodesian Ridgebacks from puppies. Major lived to 11½ + LOVED flyball, so I still love playing fetch with dogs who enjoy retrieving. Maggie lived to age 13 + ran beside me when running was my passion. Nowadays, I love walking through neighbourhoods with big shade trees rustling, admiring flowerbeds with monarchs + bumblebees, listening to the birds singing songs ( especially Cardinals). Giving dogs sniffing time is so important for their mental well-being, just like us! After my two Ridgebacks, I fell in love with RESCUING Coonhounds. Beau Beauregard, Zellie Zoo Zoo + Belvey Belvedere have all crossed the beautiful Rainbow Bridge 🌈. Every one of these losses has taught me more lessons about love, patience + giving of SELF through the privilege of caring for another living being. As an RN and mum to my children + pets, I do not take special needs lightly. I am calm, patient, observant + very affectionate, and I am very comfortable following detailed routines, medication instructions, including oral medications + giving injections. I know how important routine toileting is + attentive personal care. I know how hard it is to be away from our fur babies. If a pet wears briefs, I am diligent about keeping them clean, dry + comfortable while protecting their dignity because of my years of caring for our sweet boy Belvey Belvedere. I can handle doggies who need an increase in FREQUENCY of visits for more attention (like every 2 hours) for potty breaks with brief changes. My nursing experience has also taught me to pay attention to changes in behaviour, appetite, special diets, mobility + overall well-being. About: I grew up surrounded by animals, so caring for them has always been natural to me. In Canada, I’ve provided in-home boarding, overnight stays at clients’ homes, and drop-in visits for feeding and walks. I’m attentive, responsible, and truly enjoy spending quality time with pets, making sure they feel safe, loved, and comfortable while their owners are away. I am based in Leamington. For overnight stays, location within nearby areas (Windsor, Kingsville, Chatham, etc.) is not a problem — I can pick up and drop off your dog, or you’re welcome to bring them to me. My availability is primarily focused on overnight care. On weekdays, I am out from 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM. However, I work just 2 minutes from home and can stop by during the day for two breaks — one 1-hour visit and one 30-minute visit. Some clients provide a camera for monitoring, which I’m happy to install so I can keep an eye on your pet while at work. If I notice anything unusual, I can quickly go home to check without any issue. On weekends, I am usually home. I may step out briefly for groceries or a workout (typically no more than 2 hours at a time). For non-overnight services (feeding and walks), availability depends on location and number of visits needed. • In Leamington or within 20 minutes, I can visit twice daily (morning and evening). • For locations 45–50 minutes away (Windsor, Chatham, etc.), weekday visits are available after 5:30 PM, and weekends allow for more flexibility and multiple visits. I live in a small, cozy apartment, which creates a calm and intimate environment where dogs can feel safe and comfortable. Because I live alone, your pet receives my full attention and care. As long as they are clean and well-groomed, they’re welcome to join me on the couch — and even sleep in the bed if that’s part of their usual routine. I always prioritize maintaining their normal habits to help them feel secure and at home.

About: Ive always loved pets, and I’ve been a foster home for a local shelter for years before, recently moved back to Detroit and I’m looking to help out with pet sitting for some local people! I currently have a very active husky of my own! I’m a young professional who works entirely from home on a flexible schedule, looking to find some pets to care for!
