Breanna took wonderful care of our dog, and he came home happy and healthy — and healthy is a big deal because new situations sometimes make him so nervous that his digestive system gets disrupted upon coming home. That did not happen. Breanna sent us regular updates and pictures of our boy, and was extremely flexible with a couple small changes to our plan. I highly recommend her, and would definitely book with her again.”

We have plenty of experience with dogs of all ages and look forward to welcoming yours into our home.☺️ We work days with one of us always working from home. Your pet will never be left alone and will have great care around the clock! Weekends are our downtime, your pet will have both of our undivided attention these days. We will tailor our daily activities based on your pets preferences / needs! (Ie., enjoying car rides, walks, runs, lounging outside, or snuggles on the couch - we’re happy to make it happen!) We have a fully fenced in yard that will ensure furry friends can play outside without concern. Wherever your dog prefers to sleep - we are happy to support a continued routine. If on a feeding schedule, we can accommodate this as well. We will send lots of picture updates as well to provide peace of mind. :)

“We left Chester our Shih Tzu with Terri for two nights. He walked in and seemed at home right away. He had never met a cat before but both Chester and the cats were very chill with each other. Terri sent us pictures during his stay showing us how much he was enjoying himself and relaxing with all his legs up!! Chester loved playing with her children. About: Hi, my name is Carissa! I am experienced in caring for many animals including dogs, cats, rabbits, ferrets, and even farm animals. I owned an operated an open-play dog boarding and daycare facility in Southern California for five years (from 2014 through 2019) serving over 300 furry clients- all different sizes and personalities. (My old Facebook page with reviews can be seen on facebook by searching CarissaBennettCanineCare). Since moving back to my home-state of Michigan I worked as a veterinary assistant for two years in a general practice clinic, and am able to confidently provide first aid, as well as administer oral, topical, and injectable medications to pets in my care. Additionally, I am comfortable with caring for senior and special needs pets. I love all animals like family and would love the opportunity to care for your furbaby while you are away! I am available all day Fridays-Mondays. Perfect for long weekend trips! I do work to Tuesdays-Thursdays, 8am-5pm, but I am available in the evening on Thursdays for drop-off if needed (for an early Friday morning departure, etc.). I am available for drop-in visits Friday-Monday as well, and can also schedule drop-in visits between 6-8 pm Tuesday-Thursdays. Your pet would have tons of love in our home, with access to all living spaces and our large fenced-in yard. We currently have 1 indoor/outdoor kitty, but our chocolate lab recently passed away, so no pups in the home at this time.
