She came over to meet Baci in advance to make sure he was familiar and comfortable with her. Baci was so excited every time she came over to walk him:) My dog is leash reactive, which can be tricky on walks, but Genevieve has experience with reactive dogs and was comfortable walking him! About: I've always been an animal lover and I grew up with every pet imaginable from furry to scaley, from feathery to insecty. I work as a special education teacher for young children which takes patience and empathy which I think translates well to working with animals. I love to get fresh air but find a hard time forcing myself to get out there and your furry little family member can help me as much as I can help you. I am currently working from home and would will be able to provide your dogs attention throughout the day. My husband is self employed with hours that change day to day. I have a one family home with a fenced in yard. We have no cats but we do have 2 reptiles in tanks and a lovely Australian Shepherd that loves cats and dogs.

About: I have been caring for pups since I was 12 years old: first only walking one; then two; then caring for a puppy; then house and pet sitting for a small client base. It slowed down when I went to University, as I moved away from the little business I had built and had lots of studying to do, but I kept taking care of pups when I could. I learned to give the pups as much attention as they seek, tiring them into a light nap if they're up for it, while ensuring they are comfortable and fed. I adapt my treatment of the dog to its behavior, keeping in mind any training that needs to be maintained (off furniture, sit before crossing the street, etc.). Now, I am pursuing a doctorate and can manage my work hours so I thought I would give Rover a shot! I simply love pups and caring for them is a great way to be surrounded by them, enjoy the fun parts (walks and play) without getting tired of them, and get some extra cash!

About: I’ve taken care of dogs of different breeds to ages, from husky labs to puppies, and provide attentive care tailored to each dog’s needs. I love walking and animals - paired together it’s the perfect match for both your pet & I! I currently work from home so I am available for during the day drop-ins or walks both midday or in the afternoon after 3pm! I am also open to drop-ins or walks on your weekends away! Although my current home does not have a fenced yard, we have large grassy areas where they can run around on leash with me or I am more than happy to respect you and your pet’s home environment!

About: I adopted two kittens and a dog, and they lived harmoniously with me for 16 to 18 years. I ensured they were well-behaved by setting clear boundaries with plenty of love. My cats were primarily indoor, but once I trained them not to run, I allowed them outside in the backyard. At the sound of a clap, they would rush back to the patio door, knowing it was time to come inside. My dog, Fendi, was also well-trained from puppyhood. I always made sure they received high-quality, veterinarian-approved food, regular grooming, and plenty of exercise and affection. I gave them a happy, healthy life. My beloved dog, Fendi, passed away on December 26, 2024, after 16 wonderful years together. I miss him more than words can express. Now, I want to offer my services to pet owners, sharing my love and care with other dogs and cats, knowing they’ll be in good hands. I am home based permanently at the moment but will be retiring in a couple of months. I am an empty nester with a lot of free time. I exercise daily and love taking long walks. I give any pet my full attention and interact with them in order to stimulate them intellectually. Naturally this will depend on the dog's character, age and physical ability. I will ensure they get to enjoy the outdoors. I have a large backyard to let the pet roam around. I will carry out any instructions provided by the owners in order to have the dog maintain his routine.

About: I have been working at a vet for a year now and aspire to continue to work in vet med. I’ve come across all kinds of animals and I love them all. I currently work full time at a vet clinic, but I can’t get enough of the animals there so my weekends and evenings are completely free to care for your fur babies. About: I love meeting new dogs. No matter what type of dog it may be, it makes my day:) I go on walks with my own dog every day to get his excercise in and love cuddling and socializing with him. About: I’ve had my own dog for 5 years, and unfortunately lost him during a divorce. For the first 2 years of his puppy life I’ve trained him with a professional trainer who was responsible for training my townships police dogs. He was trained for obedience competitions, although, we did not part take in the competitions, the training was a lot of fun for the both of us. I understand the importance of setting healthy boundaries with dogs as well as making sure they are provided with appropriate daily stimulation. Im currently at home on maternity leave, so I have some extra free time and walking has been a priority for me lately, so why not add a dog to our walks! I have a fenced yard, and children will never be unsupervised around the dog. I’ve crate trained my dog in the past and can be available for that if needed.
