About: I’ve had animals my entire life and caring for them has always been one of my biggest passions. I previously worked at the SPCA because I strongly believe in animal welfare and rescue over supporting pet stores. Over the years I’ve cared for rats, rabbits, bunnies, geckos, hamsters, birds, squirrels, pigs, cats, and dogs. Every species has different physical and mental needs, and I take the time to learn what allows each animal to truly thrive—not just survive. I’ve never believed in keeping animals in the small cages sold in most pet stores. Instead, I build large, custom enclosures designed specifically for each individual animal’s needs, giving them plenty of room to explore, play, and live comfortably. Daily care is something I take very seriously. Every animal receives individual attention, enrichment, playtime, fresh food and water, and their living space is spot-cleaned and maintained every single day to ensure they stay healthy, happy, and stress-free. Whether I’m caring for my own animals or someone else’s, I treat every pet as if they were my own family. My goal is always to provide a safe, enriching, and loving environment where every animal receives the care, patience, and respect they deserve. Pet sitting fits well into my schedule because I have a flexible routine and can plan my days around the pets in my care. I make it a priority to stick to each pet’s normal feeding, exercise, and medication schedule, and I’m available for morning, afternoon, evening, or overnight visits depending on the owner’s needs. I only take on a manageable number of pets at a time so that every animal receives the time, attention, and care they deserve. I always follow each pet’s normal routine to help them feel safe and comfortable while you’re away. I’ll make sure they have fresh food and water, a clean living space, plenty of exercise, playtime, and affection based on their personality. I pay close attention to their behavior and well-being, keep your home clean and secure, and will happily send regular photo and video updates so you can have peace of mind while you’re away.

About: Hi! I'm Jaclyn. I grew up on a dairy farm where caring for animals was simply a way of life. I was surrounded daily by dogs, cats, chickens, horses, cows, goats, pigs, geese, rabbits, and turkeys. By the age of 12, I had already raised a litter of Labrador puppies and my love for animals has only deepened over the years. My husband and I are both lifelong animal lovers. He’s cared for several rescue dogs, including a German Shepherd with fear based aggression, a gentle Doberman he raised from a pup, and three loving Labradors. Together, we’ve had the joy and experience of raising and caring for over 23 dogs of all ages, sizes, and temperaments. We understand the unique personalities and needs of each animal. Whether your dog is energetic, shy, senior, or somewhere in between, we’re committed to making them feel safe, loved, and at home. My husband works from home full-time, and I work from home two days a week, so your dog will rarely be alone and never for long. There's always someone around to provide attention, affection, and supervision throughout the day. Whether your pup needs company, a calm environment, or a consistent routine. We’ve got it covered! We provide a safe, loving, and well structured environment for your pet. I own my home, which features a secure fenced backyard for outdoor play and potty breaks. While we no longer have pets of our own (we recently said goodbye to our beloved 14.5 year old Labrador), our home remains full of warmth, calm, and animal friendly spaces. We use baby gates to block off stairways when needed, and your dog will always be supervised whether indoors or outside. We also have two young children who were raised with dogs from infancy. They are very respectful and well versed in how to treat animals gently and appropriately. That said, for the comfort of both your pet and our family, we prefer to host dogs that are comfortable around children. Your pet will never be left unsupervised with our kids. This precaution ensures the safety of both your dog and our children. It also reflects the level of care and responsibility we bring to every booking.

Je suis rigoureuse quand il s’agit de suivre une routine, de respecter les consignes (alimentation, médication, promenades, etc.) et d’assurer leur bien-être. Notre belle cour clôturée permet aux chiens de pouvoir profiter du soleil et de s'amuser dans un environnement sécuritaire et surveillé!

About: Je viens tout juste de m’installer dans le quartier, et m’occuper d’animaux est pour moi une manière réconfortante de me sentir chez moi. Leur présence m’apaise énormément — c’est un peu comme une forme de zoothérapie.

Chez moi, je vis avec un Samoyède plein d’énergie et un chat que nous avons sauvé de la rue. J’ai aussi l’habitude de garder les deux chiens de ma sœur : un autre Samoyède et un Terre-Neuve. Autant dire que les grandes balades, les poils et les gros câlins ne me font pas peur !

I am very open to any dog or cat. I have the space for them to run and love to take runs and jogs with them!II have a large backyard . About: Je m’occupe de mes deux bassets à la maison, j’ai eu un élevage pendant deux ans où la femelle basset originaire de la Bretagne m’a fait une très belle portée dont les chiots étaient tous en santé. J’ai gardé le dernier chiot son nom est Rocky il est très gentil. Avec mes deux bassets, nous nous promenons deux fois par jour petite balade du matin et balade de l’après-midi on sort souvent pour des sorties d’une heure, dont le parc à chien où nous aimons vraiment beaucoup socialiser, et se défouler, nous aimons les autres amis, car nous sommes faits pour vivre en meute. Si je me déplace, j’effectue toujours une surveillance d’hygiène, nettoyage des pipis s’il y a lieu et remise en état de la pièce donner la nourriture, puis s’assurer qu’ils ont toujours de l’eau, jouer et aller dehors et faire les soins routine, lavage des oreilles, lavage des dents, lavage du poil, brosser le poil et s’assurer qu ils sont en pleine santé. Cela fait partie de ma routine avec mes deux chiens.

About: 2+ years volunteer experience as a medical care assitant in cat shelters: - record health status of each animal and record any unusual symptoms or behaviours - gave medication to animal that needed it - fed cats and cleaned their surroundings 1+ year foster care for dogs: - fed and walked dogs when needed - would sometimes train to adjust them in their new environment (not a professional trainer) - basically would treat them as my own 2+ years working with livestock: - calf rearing, would mainly feed and clean their environment - would give medication to animals in need - worked with cattle, sheep and chickens 1+ years working in a dog day care: - walk all dogs and supervise them throughout the day - correct bad behaviour and report to lead supervisor - clean their surrounding and making sure they had water at all times. Since I was young, my family and I were surrounded by animals specifically dogs and cats. All were found and kept. Sometimes we had strays (mainly cats and kittens) and would feed them and made sure they had a warm place in the winter (in shed). All animals were welcome to our home. All in all, I am quite ethical in the relation to animal welfare and love taking care of them.
