Dog Walkers in Renfrew

About: Shortly after moving to Renfrew, I rescued my dog Sage in July 2024. She is from Baffin Island, Nunavut—and I was initially told that she was a husky but she never grew! Given her size and demeanour, we believe her to be a Shiba Inu mix—we just aren’t sure how she ended up in the Arctic! About me: I have always loved animals, and I took this passion into account when choosing my first home. The house has a very large fenced-in yard that Sage loves to roam freely in. I enjoy spending much of my time in the backyard, whether in the garden or playing with Sage. Since I have all this space, and the time, I figured it would be a fun and rewarding opportunity to welcome other pets into my space on occasion, overnight on weekends or during the day on Tuesdays and Fridays when I work from home. I am also quite active, and would be happy to have another pup joining Sage and I on our walks! My partner and I both work full-time, though I work from home on Tuesdays and Fridays. I am also often available on weekends, allowing me to provide dogs with consistent attention and care. I am very adventurous with my own dog, taking her on camping trips, hikes, canoes and SUPs—she does it all and loves it! I am very active and take Sage on at least two walks per day on weekdays, also playing in the yard for about an hour each day. On weekends, I tend to go on longer walks or hikes in the area, and sometimes go to the cottage for an evening or two, where my dog will join me on snowshoe trips in the winter or boat rides in the summer. All in all, Sage is very spoiled and has my attention all the time—I love her so much and I would be happy to have her make friends with the other dogs in the area, which would be treated with a paralleled affection! As mentioned, I have a very large fenced yard which will allow your dog to play with my dog for as long as they want! My dog has free range of the house, and sleeps in bed with my partner and I (spoiled!!!). I would be happy to respect any rules that you have for your own pet when it comes to food, crating, training, etc. Our dog does her business outside in the yard, and it is preferred that your dog does the same (no pee pads). Your dog can be dropped off whenever works best for you, or I can pick them up if nearby enough. I can provide all-day daycare with two walks and free range of the backyard (with close supervision) on Tuesdays and Fridays (morning drop-off with evening pickup), or I can watch your dog all weekend (Friday morning to Sunday evening). During all of these times I will be home, but may need to leave the house for a maximum of two hours to go get groceries, etc. My dog is very playful, so ideally your dog is also playful and medium-high energy. I can of course watch lower-energy dogs, but would want to make sure they get along with my rambunctious pup first!

About: Hi, I have a 7 year old goldendoodle and am available in Renfrew for walks or visits. I have a fenced back yard and could also have your dog at my house- either solo time or socialized time with my dog. My dog is a spayed female who is very easy going. I am patient and can adapt to the needs of your dog. I have the most availability on evenings and weekends. I work from home two days a week and am in Ottawa three days a week. I’m usually home on evenings and weekends and available for walks or drop ins. I have a fenced yard and am experienced walking dogs on leash. I have one dog in the house, a 7 year old spayed female golden doodle.

About: I am an experienced pet owner with dogs and cats, as well as volunteer regularly at the shelters. I am comfortable with dogs of all ages, sizes, and energy levels, including rescues. I understand canine body language, routine and the importance of safe, compassionate and reliable care. I currently work from home, but I am happy to provide late morning to early afternoon pet care for you and your pets during the week, be that potty break and lunch or playing in the backyard. I am happy to accommodate what suits you and your pup best. If you are in need of more of a pet sitting scenario during the day for up to 5 hours please feel free to message me. I provide safe, and efficient play, walk relief, potty breaks or lunch time to working parents so their dogs have during the day interaction. Be that taking them for a walk in the neighbourhood or playing with them in their backyard whatever would suit your dogs personality and activity requirements best.

About: Hi, I'm April! I've been a dog and cat Mom for over 15 years. My husband and I rescue senior smaller dogs as well as foster for Marshall's Dog Rescue and CCRT Canadian Chihuahua Rescue and Transport. I have a ton of experience with medication, injections as well as special needs. My goal is to always make sure whatever animal I am currently looking after that they feel loved and safe. I am the pack leader and even if an animal has behavioral issues, I can deal with whatever is thrown at me. I look forward to working with you and building a positive, trusting relationship. About: We are full hearted dog lovers. We have three dogs of our own who are all well socialized and love meeting new friends both big and small. We have Hercules the 13 year old Chihuahua, Finnegan the 7 year old Jack Russell/ beagle mix, and DeeDee the year and half Rhodesian Ridgeback. We usually have an extra friend as we foster dogs through a rescue group, Rat terrier rescue of Canada. We love walking into a full house :) we have a big yard that is fully fenced, As well as trails and acreage to walk through. We offer a very relaxed, laid back setting for your pup. There will be times of play but all my dogs are respectful of space and will never push a friend to play with them. They have free range of the house and we share all the furniture, bed included 😉😊. When you go on vacation, we do our best to make your fur baby feel like they are on vacation as well. We also send you picture updates to reassure you that your family member is safe and having a great time meeting new friends :) Between my work schedule ( part time) and my husbands work schedule( full time) , someone is always home with your family member to ensure a happy, cozy, experience for them. We do our best to make them feel like they are at home and try to help ease the transition of leaving you with affection, treats, play and walks. Fenced in yard to keep them safe outside.

About: I’ve been watching dogs for 7 years now. I love all types of dogs. But the first dog I ever got close to was a pitbull. He was the first over night dog sit/house sit. I ever did, the couple would travel often due to work. So I would dog sit about 2/3 times a week. I did that for about two years and gained a lot of experience with dogs due to that job. I also find dog walking a great way to stay healthy and active with out it feeling like a work out. I’ve enjoyed dogging sitting ever since I started and don’t plan to stop. I’m currently a full time student online so I’m looking to make cash while staying active and happy and what a better way than to pet sit. I’ve loved animal since I was a little girl so being around them always brings me joy and as you’ll see they take a liking to me as well. Even the pups you think won’t, always end up loving me as well. I live in a very spacious one bedroom apartment with a balcony alone so they always feel free and nice fresh air. There is a courtyard in my building that is dog friendly and three dog parks near my building as well. So they will always have room to run and be themselves. I am a full time online student so I would be spending my whole day with your pups. They would always be in great care with love and attention. I have a nice courtyard in my building that’s pet friendly and they can play and I also have three dog parks in my area. Where they can run around and meet new pups if allowed I am currently an full time online student so I would be with your pup the whole day.
