“Tyson had another great stay .Cynthia communicates great when Tyson’s there and he’s always so tired from outdoor play when he comes homes 100%happy with my experiences more stays to come !!!”

“Mike and his family was so wonderful with Wallabee. It was his first time staying, and won't be the last. We were able to enjoy out weekend away without any worry. Mike showed genuine concern and love for our pup. He sent us multiple photos every day! So happy with our choice!”
“Bill and TRACEY are a great couple and are very caring towards dogs. I would take Casey back there in a heartbeat. He loved it. I could tell by when he got home that he wasn’t depressed from being away from home.”

“This was our first time using Rover and we couldn’t have been luckier than to have found Mariella. Our dogs settled in very quickly and we could tell they were given great care from Mariella and her family.”
“5 star Rating! I adopted a little 'rescued' Scottie -Corgi mix fellow 16 months ago. This was my boys first time away from me, & I was a nervous about my boy feeling abandoned, after such a rough previous start in his young life. Chetan took my boy at only a days notice, welcomed us to bring him the day before to visit the farm with my boy. I dropped him the next morning fir a full day away, and Chetan took him right away to meet the farm animals. My Boy was So interested & at ease with Chetan, & so interested in it all, he was like: "see ya mom!" and then Happily just trusted Chetan. & walked away. Lol Chetan sent videos throughout the day & I could see how happy and comtent Finnigan was. He made a great new friend w another smaller dog...playing wag & tag... and I could see how happy & engaged he was! He explored the farm in the safety of totally fenced in huge spaces and gardens. On top of Finnigan having a blast, we ran into a snag, travelking & were late coming back from our trip & Chetan graciously kept Finnigan overnight. I hope to have Finnigan have future days with Chetan & his wife at the farm. I couldnt be happier with their service. Beautiful people and Chetan is a Dog Whisperer. I would recommend Chetan & his wife & the farm to ANYONE who truly loves their dog. My mind was at ease the entire time Finnigan was at their wonderful farm. Thankyou Chetan.TOP RATING! M. “I left my seven month old golden retriever puppy with Mathieu and Esther (and Marlow!) over the weekend. They took excellent care of her! Puppies are a handful, and they went over and above. My dog got special instructions after being spayed, and they were super accommodating. I highly recommend them!”

“Gail was awesome, taking care of our dog Wally in her home for 5 days and nights in March 2026. Wally was walked 3x per day, and we felt totally comfortable after an initial meet and greet that Wally would be in good hands while we went on vacation. Gail accommodated an early morning drop off so we could catch our flights. And we got lots of pictures while away which we loved. If you need someone to take care of your dog, and love them like you do, don’t hesitate to contact Gail !”

“Dalia and Dan were perfect for our little darling. Aria is very sensitive and needs tender care. Dalia sent us updates every day as we were very nervous about leaving her. It was the first time she has been away for more than 2 days from us and we are thrilled with the care that she received from them. Dalia and Dan are VERY passionate about pet sitting and it shows!”

“I would definitely recommend her! She took great care of my pup and kept me updated the entire time he was staying with her. It gave me so much peace of mind knowing he was in such good hands. I wouldn’t hesitate to book with her again!”

“This is the first time I have left my dog Percy with anyone other than family or friends. Cindy and Mark made me feel comfortable and kept me updated on how he was doing. I was pleased with the process from beginning to end. They both clearly love doing this and if I find myself in need of care for Percy in the future I wouldn't hesitate to request them again. Thanks to both of them (and grandma) for giving Percy the love and attention he needed to get through his first stay.”

“Manual and Maricris watched our dog, Harley. They did a great job. They had great communication and followed everything we asked. We will ve using them again for sure!”

“Eva is a wonderful, caring person. She took very good care of our puppy Oscar. She kept us up to date with photos and messages. We would use her services again in a heartbeat. We highly recommend Eva.”

“Happy to have Amy look after Dexter while we were away. She did an amazing job watching him and sent us many pictures and updates during the stay which was nice. Would highly recommend Amy to care for your pet 🐾”

“Fiona is a very friendly person with extensive experience caring for dogs. She looked after my two dogs exceptionally well. Her spacious yard offered plenty of room for them to play. I will definitely return and highly recommend her to others.”

“Awesome stay, really helped us out! Very much appreciated the daily updates and pictures, it was really comforting to see our dog have fun while we were away.”

“We were planning a trip and knew it would be more difficult to do some of the things on our list with our dog present. So last minute, I googled to try to find a kennel in the area. I've owned dogs my entire life and have never left them somewhere else, so wanted to see what was being offered. I came across Rover and leaving her with a family instead of a kennel sounded so much better; I didn't even know this existed! Valerie got back to me promptly, confirming her availability to watch our Indie. From the moment we arrived, she was warm and welcoming, and we knew Indie would enjoy her stay. We were provided with updates, and they really enjoyed having her there. I highly recommend Valerie to care for your pup; our girl came back happy and healthy, and should we ever need someone to watch her again, we will be making Valerie our first choice !”

“We are extremely happy we had to leave our home with short noses and with no hesitation Randi helped us oh and Trip had a ball And I was sleeping because he’s exhausted all the fun he had with her and your family”

About: Being a dog owner myself, I understand the importance of finding a dog sitter who genuinely cares and willing to give the attention your dog needs. I have a 4 yr old goldendoodle, Maui who would love some company 💕 he loves meeting new dogs and making friends. I am home throughout the week so rest assured, your dog will get all the attention and love they need and more ✨ There will be lots of play, walks and cuddles. 😌 Available for boarding, doggy day care, dog walks and drop-in visits. I am self employed and full time taking care of my dog so I am with my dog throughout the day. Your dog is no different to me 💕 when your dog is home, he/she will have a best friend (my dog) and me, who will take care of them and enjoy all the extra cuddles. I give food according to your schedule set, give 2 walks everyday and lots of play/activities/puzzles during the day. Rest assured, your dog will come back home tired after a long day of play 😌 I currently do not have a fenced yard but I’m always extremely careful and leash our dog for pee breaks/potty breaks when I take them to the yard. I have never had any incidents of dogs getting away because that’s how cautious I am. So safety is always my priority.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they do not have any disqualifying offences.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. On Rover:
- 81% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 90% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 96% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
