About: As a dog lover, past-owner and walker, I love having the privilege of walking, adorable, energetics puppies. I moved here from Vancouver 4 years ago, where the highlight of my day used to be walking all of my neighbours dogs after school. The unconditional love and puppy kisses made each walk a rewarding, happy experience :) i’m current available Monday- Thursday evening from 1pm-6pm (Friday-Saturday availabilities vary depending on the week) For other availability times i need a few days notice otherwise everything should be straight forward When caring for pets in my home or my clients' homes, I prioritize their well-being and happiness. I provide a safe and comfortable environment, ensuring they have fresh water, nutritious meals, and regular exercise. I offer plenty of playtime, cuddles, and mental stimulation. I follow any specific instructions regarding medications or special needs. I maintain open communication with clients, providing updates on their pets' activities and ensuring peace of mind. Ultimately, I treat each pet as if they were my own, showering them with love and attention throughout their stay.

About: I have 2 dogs (golden doodles), ive been taking care of them for the past 11 years. I walk them 3 times a day, bath and cut their hair myself. With my 2 dogs, I walk them morning, afternoon and night, I always find a way to squeeze them around my schedule. I can do the same for you. I care for pets by following their normal routine and giving them plenty of attention, comfort, and respect. I make sure pets feel safe, relaxed, and well cared for.

About: I believe animals are always communicating with us, and I approach pet care by listening first and responding with patience and care. I have 12 years of experience with my own dog and have worked through reactivity, anxiety, fear of noises, and leash pulling using positive reinforcement. I have worked with multiple trainers over the years and have spent a lot of time learning about dog behaviour and psychology, which has shaped how I care for animals today. I pay close attention to body language and subtle cues like freezing, yawning, or disengaging. When a dog seems overwhelmed, I focus on helping them feel safe and settled by creating space, choosing calmer routes or environments, or redirecting them toward something grounding. With shy or nervous dogs, I always let them approach on their own terms and give them the freedom to take breaks or step away when needed. I also believe in balancing physical and mental stimulation. Along with fulfilling walks, I enjoy incorporating enrichment like sniffing games, confidence-building activities, and gentle training. These activities work well for high-energy dogs and can also help more nervous or shy dogs feel comfortable and confident. I have experience caring for large and small dogs, puppies, and senior dogs, as well as administering medication including pills, liquids, topical treatments, and ear drops. I am very comfortable following vet instructions and care routines, and I tend to be very organized and attentive to detail. Above all, I genuinely care about each animal’s wellbeing and individuality. I use patience, positive reinforcement, and observation as the foundation of my care, and I always do my best to make sure every pet feels safe, understood, and cared for. I’m currently a work-from-home professional so I am quite flexible time and space wise. I am available at virtually any time and can readily offer overnight care in your home while you’re away. With a persistent attention to detail, I frequently look out for when an animal is trying to communicate a need, such as them wanting water, to play, to eat, to be pet, etc. I always ensure they have fresh, clean water and that they are fed the appropriate amount and on time. I also like to spend quality time with them giving them belly rubs and and behind-the-ear scratches. I also look out for their safety by keeping things that might be dangerous out of reach as well as checking in on them frequently to make sure they are doing well :)

About: I have experience with a large variety of animals, including many foster dogs and cats, many of which with their own sensitivities and triggers. I also helped foster a broader set of animals through my childhood, including geese and raccoons, and have pet sat too many times to count for dogs, cats, and bunnies I currently work an inconsistent field job, so my schedule is wide open when it is open... and the rest of the time it is closed for months. About: Ive been fortunate to have always been surrounded by dogs, cats, bunnies, and other animals at my parents rehabilitation center. I volunteered for the SPCA as a trained dog-walker for close to a decade and am unfazed by any behavioural /aggressive traits as I’ve fostered a range of rescues and owned seniors throughout my 20s. The day before we left, our dog unexpectedly had to go to the vet, which meant we were leaving him with multiple medications and a lot of anxiety on our end… we were so nervous about traveling under those circumstances, but Cristine immediately put us at ease. She went above and beyond in every possible way… following medication instructions perfectly, keeping us updated, and caring for him with so much attention, patience, and genuine kindness. It was clear she truly cared about his comfort and well-being!!! We came home to a happy, well-cared-for dog and a spotless home… and most importantly, complete peace of mind while we were away. Trusting someone with your dog is one thing… trusting someone when your dog isn’t 100% is another… and Cristine exceeded every expectation. If we could give 6 stars, we absolutely would.
