“Wooftastic!! As a first time boarder with my pal, Oscar, I was a nervous mom! Would he be ok? Would he be well taken care of? How would it go around other dogs? I could not be more happy and grateful for Allison and Scott! He did so well and they truly care about the dogs in their care. They were so understanding and did some extra touches that meant so much! Like, texting to check in and confirm all was well, the BEST photos with captions 😊 via a shared album, and oodles of walks and play times! Oscar was very happy and had an amazing time and gained some great experience around other lovely dogs! We will definitely book again and likely bring Oscar for monthly day boarding to keep up his socialization! So fortunate to have hit the Rover jackpot on my first go!! Thank you so much, Allison and Scott!”

“Katherine is absolutely incredible, from the first time you meet her and her adorable daughter you can see how much they absolutely adore animals! I was constantly updated about rozie and the pictures and videos were absolutely heartwarming. Rozie can’t wait to go back to this incredible house with some incredible people. Do your animal a favour and see if you’ll be lucky enough for Katherine to look after your animal.”

“Anne and Andrew are always so great with Luna. She loves them and is so comfortable in their care. We were away for a good amount of time and Luna was welcomed into their home like family, as she always is. She's always a little sad when it's time to come home. 😅”

“Sarah took fantastic care of my elderly cat. We had a car accident while we were away and had to extend my cat's stay. Sarah was so kind and was happy to keep him another night! I really felt my fur baby was in great hands. Thank you Sarah🩷”

“Catherine and her husband took amazing care of my dog, Bruno, during his overnight stay! He had a great time, and I really appreciated the thoughtful updates throughout. It gave me peace of mind knowing he was in such good hands. Will definitely be booking with her again!”

“Jean took extra good care of Marvin for an extended stay. She sent us regular updates, which we really appreciated and gave us peace of mind that he was well looked after in a loving home! Won’t hesitate to book again :)”

“Warren and Angelika took great care of our Clyde. His meds were all given, he enjoyed a walk and all the love and attention they gave him. Clyde enjoyed his stay and all the snuggles.”

“Where do we begin? We were so nervous about leaving Nicky with strangers. And we are truly so grateful to have found Susan and Brian. Full disclosure, we thought about not writing this review so that we could keep Susan and Brian all to ourselves, but we know that they will take very, very good care of other, beloved pets so here we are. We cannot say enough good things about our experience with Susan and Brian! They made sure that our human and the furry family members were comfortable from the start. Communication was excellent. They made sure to keep us updated with regular messages and photos. They also created a little “report card” upon our return so we knew exactly how and what Nicky was doing each day — such a thoughtful touch! They went above and beyond while caring for our dog. When Nicky had unexpected tummy issues, they handled it with such care and ease. We had peace of mind the entire time we were away. We highly recommend Susan and Brian to anyone looking for reliable, attentive, kind, gentle, funny, dedicated and wonderfully caring sitters for their furry family members. Susan and Brian, thank you so much!”

“Thank you Cindy for taking care of Zoe from 27Mar- 02 Apr,Zoe received the same love, care, walks & cuddles like home from Cindy,I deeply appreciate your efforts and support with regular photos and updates. Zoe returned home way more calmer and quieter pup and she got to play and spent time with other 3 guest small dogs and 2 inhouse furry friends.Cindy is so clear, transparent in her communication, made our travel easy and stress-free. Zoe is an anxious kid anyways, so she was missing us and her home in that way she lost quiet a weight in her worry. Thank you Cindy, this experiment was indeed successful, loved Josie and Jack too, true friends of Zoe in making her a better version of herself. See you soon. ❤️🙏”

“Kristen and Jeffrey are wonderful pet sitter, they took excellent care of our furry troop! Right off the bat when I first met them I got an excellent first impression. They were very warm and friendly and were great with my pet! When I came home after after being away my pet was very relaxed and happy. During my time away Kristen and Jeffrey sent me photos of my pet having fun which was really nice ? I look forward to booking Kristen and Jeffrey again in the future!! Thanks for doing such a great job, keep up the great work!! ❤”

“Adam and Ester took wonderful care of Nala while we were away on vacation. We were especially grateful for their support and flexibility despite the unexpected hospital challenge. Throughout our time away, we had complete peace of mind knowing that Nala was safe, loved, and cared for so thoughtfully. I’m sure Nala will miss Adam, Ester, and their kids! Thank you both so much for everything—we truly appreciate you.”

“Sara took excellent care of our energetic Airedale terrier. He had multiple walks, a clean and spacious house, and large fenced backyard. She sent us plenty of photos and updates, and we knew that our dog was very well cared for. They have 2 friendly, non-aggressive dogs that played well with our dog. I highly recommend Sara and Cody for anyone who wants exceptional care for their dog.”

“Rieko was perfect for our dog. Our old cocker spaniel still loves to play and loves attention. Rieko gave our dog a variety of activities and lots of cuddles. Many pictures were sent to us. It gave us a sense of relief and confidence that our dog was at the best place away from us.”
“I was very nervous leaving my puppy with a sitter but Cassandra was super patient with me and explained the whole process. I got picture updates and came back to a very happy puppy. Thank you Cassandra, we will definitely see you again soon ❤️”

“Amazing care for our dog Dexie! We had an wonderful experience with our dog sitter! From the moment we met, it was clear she genuinely cared about our dog and treated them like family. We received regular updates, photos, and messages, which gave us complete peace of mind while we were away.”

“Natasha & Sandro’s experience with rescue dogs gave me the peace of mind I was looking for, they understand Rocky’s needs and made him feel at home with their dogs. The updates and photos were great for me to see Rocky having a good time with his new friends. I am happy to not have to hunt for a sitter anymore as both myself and Rocky had a very positive experience with our vacations.”

“So glad we found Santanna and Dan. My two doggies thoroughly enjoyed their time on the farm and we were very thankful to have peace and mind while we were away for the weekend. Great communication throughout. Would definitely use them next time!”

About: Our family provides pet care together, with myself and my husband, Vitaly, being fully responsible for all pets in our care. Our 11-year-old daughter is also deeply involved and passionate about animals. She has completed courses through the local Humane Society and is currently finishing a pet sitter course. She loves helping with walks, playtime, feeding, brushing, and giving animals lots of affection under our supervision. We also have another 8 year old daughter and 4 year old son. Animals are already a meaningful part of our family life, and we are planning to welcome our own dog within the next two years. In many ways, pet care has become a beautiful opportunity for us to spend time with dogs while continuing to learn and prepare as future dog owners ourselves. As a family, we enjoy learning about dog behaviour, training, and care, and even love watching Cesar Millan together. We have hands-on experience caring for a wide variety of animals. We have completed both a 10-day farm sitting stay in the summer and a 7-day stay in the winter for close friends with a hobby farm that includes two dogs, a cat, goats, chickens, and other animals. Our responsibilities included daily feeding, animal care, cleaning, outdoor chores, and even milking goats. In addition, we have experience fostering dogs in our home, providing pet care for friends and neighbours, dog walking, and drop-in visits/check-ins for bathroom breaks and companionship. One summer, we also helped a neighbour with daily noon-time puppy check-ins for six weeks while they were at work. We are a calm, caring, outdoorsy family who genuinely enjoys spending time with animals and making sure they feel safe, loved, and well cared for while their owners are away. We are best suited for dogs who are comfortable around children and reasonably calm around cats. We do have a cat in the home, though she has her own quiet spaces and hiding spots where she can retreat comfortably when needed. My husband and I both work as entrepreneurs mostly from home. We do sometimes leave the house for around 2-4 hrs for different activities with our homeschooled children. Sometimes we can bring dogs with us, sometimes they need to stay at the house. Our family like to take regular walks in the morning and evening so we don’t need to change our routine too much when we add a dog to the house. We have a fenced yard and three level house. We are extra tidy when dogs are around and are careful with leaving food out. We once had a dog eat a brick of butter from the counter…let’s say we learned our lesson!
“Took good care of Scooter. Was a last minute request too. Scooter is young and has a lot of energy but was not an issue for Jacqueline. Was a hot day too and she made sure to gave Scooter lots of water and kept Scooter cool. Her dog Pete is great and was very patient with Scooter. Scooter and Pete got along. Pete is awesome with other dogs.”

About: With a lifetime of animal care experience, I offer exceptional care to your beloved pet, whether it's a dog, cat, or emu. Ok, maybe not an emu, but I do have years of personal experience with a variety of animals: dogs, cats, hamsters, guinea pigs, rabbits, and horses. I grew up volunteering at the humane society, and I have years of experience working in animal rescue and veterinary clinics, in addition to dog walking for clients, where I gained valuable professional experience aiding in the care of all kinds of breeds of dogs with varying temperaments. It was at the rescue I worked at that I rescued my handsome pup Kai -- a semi-feral mixed breed from the woods of Manitoba. For the time being, my services will be limited to drop-in visits (not just for dogs) and dog walking. I'll even walk your cat if that's your thing! I offer individual solo walks or small groups of no more than 3 dogs if your pooch is more of a social butterfly. Either way, I can assure you that your family pet will receive the utmost quality care. I love 'em like they're my own. One thing to note-if you book an hour long walk these will likely be a bit longer than an hour as I will take them for adventure hikes, unless you request otherwise. My schedule is currently pretty flexible and open for the summer. September and onwards is still undetermined but please feel free to message me and inquire. At the moment I do not offer pet care in my home, however I am happy to go to yours up to 3x daily if needed to provide potty breaks or fun walks, as well as any necessary feedings or medications.

“We had recently moved to a new area and were going away for a few days and no longer had any friends or family close by to check in on Milo and Ophelia while we were away. Nicole took great care of Milo and Ophelia. She was very friendly and responsive. I had sent her a long message with information and instructions, and she followed them with no issue! She also sent us some great photos of our cats that were a delight to receive. I was definitely able to enjoy my trip knowing my cats were in great hands. I definitely recommend Nicole!”

“Sara and Cody are incredible people who took amazing care of my fur baby. Charlotte was very well cared for, and Sara truly went above and beyond to make sure she was happy, comfortable, and loved. I couldn't have asked for better care, and I highly recommend them!”

About: I retired in 2020 and returned to college to receive my Registered Veterinary Technician diploma in 2023. I have been a foster parent to hundreds of animals over my lifetime, specializing in animals who require medication and specialized medical care. I am retired and available to watch your pet at any time. Last minute and longer term care remains an option. I do travel on occasion but this would be communicated with plenty of notice. I have just moved to the Fergus area and reside in a park-setting which has a fenced leash free area on site. There is a lake should your pup like the water! I can accommodate crate trained animals however my general thinking is that your pet would be like my own were, snuggling on the bed or couch. I realize how important consistency and routine is to your pets wellbeing and would ensure that your routines are followed should I be staying at your home.
About: Lifelong Animal Lover With 10+ Years Vet Experience 🐾 Hi! I’m so glad you’re here. My name is Bailey, and I offer in-home pet boarding, daycare, and care for small to medium dogs, cats, and small animals. My pricing is set at what I believe is a fair reflection of my experience in the veterinary industry, the quality of care I provide, and the time dedicated to your pet. At the same time, I work hard to keep my services affordable because I understand firsthand how expensive being a pet parent can be. My goal is to provide trusted, professional care without adding financial stress. I’ve worked in the veterinary field for over 10 years, and I now work from home for a pet microchip company—meaning I’m available, attentive, and trained to notice even the smallest changes in your pet’s behavior or health. Safety and comfort are always my top priorities. I share my home with two friendly chihuahuas, two bunnies, and 3 pet rats, all of whom are used to meeting new animals and do great with visitors. I also have a gentle, animal-loving 7-year-old who has grown up around pets and understands how to treat them with care and respect. Animals have been my passion since childhood, and I love creating a calm, fun, and secure environment where your pet can feel like part of the family. Whether your pet needs cuddles, playtime, supervision, or just a quiet place to relax, I’m here to make their stay safe and enjoyable. If you have any questions or special requests, feel free to reach out—I’d love to meet you and your furry (or fluffy!) family member! I currently work from home for a pet microchip company—so I’m home and available all day. Since the company is very pet-friendly, they’re incredibly accommodating when it comes to things like background noise, potty breaks, or anything else your pet may need. Plus, my own 2 dogs are home with me all day and would love to play with your pet! When your pet is in my home, they’ll be treated just like my own! They have full access to the couch and all areas of my pet-friendly two-bedroom apartment. You’re welcome to bring any personal items—beds, blankets, toys, or anything that helps your pet feel more at home—but we also have plenty of toys and treats here for them to enjoy. My two dogs use pee pads during the winter months, but I’m absolutely able to take your dog out for walks if that’s part of their routine. If your pet is also pee-pad trained, that works perfectly for us.
“My husky Drake had an amazing time with Cory and her family. Drake was excited to meet their puppies Skye and Piper and Drake became friends with them fast. Cory keeps sending update and photos and make us also feel comfortable. Definitely going back to her.”

About: I love dogs and will take care of yours like my own: extra snuggles when they miss you. I have owned and trained three dogs and treats are the best tools to keep the experience positive for all. Our dog Winter loves all friendly dogs and would always welcome a playmate. She is used to having and sharing our home with other dogs. Walking a pet at the end of a work day is wonderful way to know the day is over. Dogs always bring a smile to my face and the stress is gone! I will be happy to share photos of your fur baby when you are away: make you feel not as far away from them. We know you miss them. Lol I am currently at home so lots of time with your dog and lots of playing and walking outside will be provided. Your pet will come back home tired! We have a large yard on a quiet country road. Your dog will spend lots of time outside getting exercice and socialization with our dog Winter.
“Hi. We would like to thank Michelle for doing such a great job caring for our now 6 month old mini golden doodle. Michelle greeted us each morning with a warm smile. She told us Freddie was doing great and sent videos of him and her 5 year old gorgeous dog Molly. Molly became Freddie’s momma and it meant the world to me seeing how well Freddie was bonding. The socialization was great for our boy. Michelle played some calming meditation music which Freddie loves. I wouldn’t hesitate to bring Freddie back for more tender loving care. Thank you Michelle. You are awesome 😎”

“I can’t say enough wonderful things about Jean. She treats our pup, Jolene, like part of her own family and consistently goes above and beyond for us. Jean is incredibly flexible with scheduling and always puts the safety and well-being of the dogs first. Jolene comes home from her time with Jean happy, fulfilled, and clearly well cared for. Jean does an amazing job balancing all of Jolene’s needs while making sure she feels loved and comfortable during both daycare and overnight stays. She truly is the best pet sitter anyone could ask for!”

“Our dog was very happy and calm when we picked him up. Amanda was accommodating our last minute need for a dog sitter. Her property was perfect, took Walter on a long walk. Would definitely leave my dog with her again.”

About: Whether your big dog needs to burn some energy on a long walk, or your little furry friend needs a quick trip outside and some couch cuddles. I’m here to help! I grew up around dogs. Over the years my family has had Cocker Spaniels, Chocolate Labs, Weimaraners, and even a Great Dane! I learnt about a whole new level of care, from bladder expression to wheelchair use. I’m ready to do whatever it takes to keep your dogs happy and healthy! I work as a freelance writer, so have an amazingly flexible schedule that will allow me to find the perfect time to come hag out with your pet! I have a special needs dog, but if your dogs temperament is the right fit. I’d be happy to have them in my home for day care or overnights.
“Sarah was a godsend! She took amazing care of our girls and spent time giving them all the love and attention we couldn’t while away. She genuinely loved them and we were able to feel confident they were being well taken care of. Sarah communicated with us consistently and sent adorable photos. We are so grateful to have found her and will use her again whenever we need to. Our dogs were happy, and so are we! I cannot recommend her highly enough!”

About: I have been taking care of animals of all shapes, sizes, breeds, and species as long as I can remember. I am very cognizant of all the animals in my care and find I can read their cues like a book. I am learning dog training and have worked hard with my dog on his skills. I am no stranger to giving pups medication as well, let me know what your pups needs and I can take care of them as if they were my own! I am currently a stay-at-home mom of 1, so I have lots of time and love to give your furry family. We are quite flexible so let us know your needs for care and we will be happy to oblige! We have a large fenced backyard, the dog beach nearby and 2 dog parks not far from our house. We have 1 dog and 3 cats in the home so we are very familiar with accommodating different personalities and their needs! We can crate pups if they need some space or we have a deck that they can lay on to get some sun.
About: I provide dependable in-home pet and house sitting for dogs, cats and small or exotic pets, with an emphasis on keeping them happy and settled in their own environment and schedule. I can help with feeding, walks, companionship, plant care, mail/package collection and any other everyday household needs while you’re away. I also have experience caring for animals with medical needs, senior pets, and pets who need a little extra support. This includes pets who are blind, have hearing loss, require oral medication, insulin, allergy care and heart medication. I’m attentive to details, comfortable following care instructions and careful about monitoring changes in behaviour, appetite, energy, mobility or comfort. I also offer a complimentary meet-and-greet before the first booking so I can get to know your pets, their routines, their care needs and any important details ahead of time. My goal is to give owners peace of mind while making sure their pets feel safe, cared for and settled at home! I am self-employed, so I have flexible availability and pet care fits easily into my daily and weekly routine. I’m available seven days a week and structure my time around each pet’s regular schedule. My goal is to keep pets comfortable in their own home and regular routine while giving owners peace of mind while they’re away. I provide care in the client’s home, so my focus is on keeping pets safe, comfortable and settled in their familiar environment. I follow each pet’s normal routine as closely as possible including feeding, walks, medication, litter care, playtime, companionship, and bedtime routines. Before a booking, I like to review care instructions, health needs, emergency contacts, vet information, home access details and any household routines. I’m careful with doors, gates, leashes, food, medications and anything that could affect a pet’s safety. I also respect the client’s home by keeping things tidy, collecting mail/packages, caring for plants and following household instructions.
About: Dogs and puppies are my passion! I dreamed of working with dogs as a little girl and now that is my reality! I have been working with dogs for about 18 years now. I have worked and trained many puppies as well as rescue dogs. I have worked in kennels and doggy daycares, with the pups as well as managing. I have also volunteered for humane societies and fostered rescue dogs. I was on the dog team at the alliston humane society for many years. I work from home so I am mostly at home, other than running errands and attending a few programs throughout the week. Typically I wouldn’t be out of the house for more than a few hours at one time. Dogs staying with us should be comfortable around children, kitties and preferably other pups. We provide lots cuddles and play time (if they want it!).

About: I have pet sat for people in my neighborhood and a few friends for quite a few years now! From young puppies to more senior dogs I’ve done it all! I can check in on your dogs during the day to show them some extra love, or take them out for walks when they need it! My schedule is currently wide open so I am very flexible to check in on your pets any time of the day, for a walk or to give them some extra love! When in a clients house I make sure I am very respectful and careful of their things. Only taking treats, leashes, food and things that would be left out for me! I will also make sure to clean up after your pet if anything were to happen as well!
“Jennifer was amazing. While booking she was quick to respond and answer any questions we had. On the day of she reconfirmed the booking, showed up on time, went for a very nice long walk with our dog and made sure everything was closed and locked on her way out. The report after the walk had nice photos too! We will be booking again with her in the future!”
