“Christina was fantastic. She was friendly, punctual, highly professional, and took perfect care of our cat with daily care visits while we were away. We were unfamiliar with the Rover platform, so we appreciated her assistance with it as well. We will absolutely request her assistance for cat care the next time we are going away. Moreover, since our cat has pretty deep-rooted anxiety about strangers and hides pretty much all the time unfamiliar people are in our house, we hope that she (our cat) will warm up to her (Christina) over the course of future care visits. Not only will that hopefully let Christina get to actually spend time with our cat during care visits, but through familiarity with Christina as our go-to cat sitter, we hope it will make our absences less difficult for our cat. Expecting him to demand food I was surprised that he ignored a small offering and focused on cuddling like the old guy I'd left. About: I'm an animal lover who has had dogs in her life from a very young age, so my love and respect for dogs should make you feel very comfortable leaving them in my hands! I also have worked as a Veterinary Assistant for the past 6 years so I understand many different breeds and how to effectively handle each. This also means I can administer medications if needed and take care of dogs recovering from procedures. Being an active person I also really enjoy walks and being outside, so I think me and the dogs will get along just fine haha! I also have a few on-leash trails near my house which is a fun way for dogs to see new environments and new smells! I also have worked in a doggy day care for 3 years and that's really where I developed my passion for dogs, and the reason to start my own business with them. While working at a doggy day care that’s when I also learned all of my skills because i have delt with all type of needs and breeds of dogs for instance I have developed knowledge on how to read Dogs behaviors, learn there temperaments, learn how to create a grate bond with dogs that have anxiety, or serve behavior issues or that are simply just scared. I have a huge passion for animals and what sets me apart from other sitters is that I just don't offer pet services just for money I take pride in what I do and make sure that I have all the information that I need to know for me to create a safe and happy space for your pets. It means a lot to me if the customers develop a healthy partnership that is based on 100 percent trust and transparency, I have a special bond with each and every single dog that are big or small, feel safe with me, and most importantly do a assessment with them in order for me to know if I have enough ability to provide the dogs with the proper needs that they need for me to do my job properly and safely, and that the dogs aren’t stressed or not happy. Before taking on any dogs on my case load I require to meet the owners first and ask questions so i can have a better understanding of what kind of services that there dogs need, then I require to do a meet and greet with there dog and do a assessment bye taking them on a walk and see if its a good match for not only the myself but most importantly the dog. Currently I have my own business of 5 years and recently I have taken some time off to work on getting my business registered and making a plan for my new website that i want to create, so because of this my schedule is completely open and flexible. If I would be taking care of the dogs at my house then I have half an acre of semi fenced in backyard so they would have lots of room to run and play. However if the owners don't feel safe or comfortable with the fact that my backyard is half fenced or if there dog doesn't get along with other animals then i could always bring them for a walk alone. Inside my house I would have the dogs in my spacious basement that is open concept, and all the cleaning supplies are stored in a separate room away from the dogs, also all wires would be in a special zip lock ties that are safe for dogs. I have a spray that i can use on the wires that prevent dogs from chewing on the wires. I also have a large crate that i can use if needed, plan to get more.
