“It was the first time leaving our 2 dogs with anyone other than family. Veronique took the time to chat with me prior to the booking which was very reassuring. They are extremely accommodating. The drop off went well and the dogs adapted quickly. We got updates and the cutest pictures of the dogs looking right at home. We are so happy to have come across Veronique and Dan and will be booking with them again in the future!”

“We had a wonderful experience with Jamie! Moose’s stay felt like a little vacation while I was away for a hockey tournament. He loved spending time with other dogs and even made some new friends. Jamie kept me at ease with updates and photos, and I knew Moose was in great hands. I’ll definitely be using her again—highly recommend! 🐾”

“I knew when I met Marilyn and her partner, that they were kind and trustworthy people. They took excellent care of Charlie. She sent updates with photos and was highly responsive. I highly recommend Marilyn!”

“Izzy was a happy girl when we picked her up, definitely well cared for and loved. Dorothy sent us a picture and a note letting us know everything was good, Izzy was enjoying her get away. We will definitely bring our dog to Dorothy again should we need doggie overnight stay, and refer her to anyone who needs it. Fantastic!”

“Melina and her family were the perfect fit for my girls! I loved the updates on how they were doing and the funny pictures I’d get send during their stay with her family. “It was our first time ever using Rover or any type of dog sitting service for our 14 year old little Yorkie. Lucky for us we connected with Kathy through Rover. She was absolutely amazing! We were so worried how Belle would make out with a complete stranger but Kathy made her stay so comfortable that there were absolutely no issues. Kathy sent us some pics and updates throughout the weekend which was nice to see how well Belle was doing. I will definitely be bringing Belle back to stay with her new “auntie Kathy” :) I would not hesitate in recommending Kathy.”

“Lesa took care of our dog Coco for one night as a trial run. Our dog has never been looked after by anyone other than us or family members and we were quite anxious about leaving him with just anyone. Our dog is a bit temperamental when it comes to routine and especially other dogs. Lesa met with us prior to Coco’s stay to allow us to meet with her and her daughter and see where he would be staying. Lesa was very welcoming of coco into her home and was very easy going and you could tell she was passionate about animals. Lesa made our first interaction with her great and made it much easier for us to decide on leaving coco with her for a night. We dropped off Coco in the afternoon for his first night away from home. Lesa sent us an update within the first hour letting us know how he was and that everything was well! Lesa sent us countless updates throughout the day and evening letting us know how he was doing and sent lots of pictures. This really made us feel like he was getting the attention and care we thought he needed. We picked Coco up just over 24hrs later and he was as happy as could be and we could tell he had a great stay! Lesa was an amazing sitter for our dog Coco and we have 100% trust in her with sitting our dog! We met with many different dog sitters before finding Lesa and we are so so happy we didn’t settle on just anybody! Lesa will continue to have our business with watching our dog Coco, and we have already made plans to leave Coco in her hands while we go for our next vacation! Thank you to Lesa, her young daughter and 2 cats for letting us feel at ease while Coco is away from us!”

“She took great care of my 2 dogs. Kept their daily routine of administering their medication and taking them on daily walks. She was very affectionate with them and they were very happy when I picked them up. I will definitely be booking with her again.”

There has rarely been a time that we did not have animals in our home. I have and have had personal experience with 5 of our own canine seniors spanning over 35 yrs developing patience and empathy and adjusting to their stages of life throughout their lives. I am experienced with administration of medication, blindness, mobility restrictions and post-surgery care. In addition, I have Pet First Aid through Cdn Red Cross. Through the week, I work from home and at times in the community, but my flexibility can allow me to meet the scheduling needs of a pet parent when planned in advance. I don't mind last minute scheduling, since as we know life happens, if I am able to accommodate. Most importantly, I can be present and attentive to provide positive interaction, care and playtime for your fur baby. I am situated in a rural setting on several acres with a large amount of groomed yard and acreage away from the road. The main floor of my home is open for free roam. “Excellent experience from start to finish. She did a meet-and-greet ahead of the stay, followed the care instructions exactly, and sent daily check-ins with photos that made being away much easier. “Lesa was a fantastic pet sitter for my cat Simba! She was responsive to communication, open, honest and easy to talk to. She took the time to discuss all of Simba's needs and quirks ahead of time to ensure that it would be a good fit for both of us. When Simba arrived, she took the time to help him to adjust and she provided me with consistent updates! She gave him lots of attention, and by the end of his stay it was clear that he had settled right in. I would highly recommend Lesa, and would absolutely have her watch my pets in the future! :)”

About: I’ve had my dog Billy since I was 16! I put in a lot of training and work with him and he became my service dog. Now I’ve been around lots of other dogs and can’t wait to meet even more! I’m home every day, all day so I have plenty of time to spend with any new friends spending time here! We always spend time outside morning, afternoon and night, with lots of needed in between potty breaks. Walks around the neighbourhood are a fun time! Let me know if you don’t want that and that no problem. I have a yard but it isn’t fenced in. Long lines or leashes are used. I have two dogs who love spending time with new friends! Crates are welcome and have their own area. Enrichment activities are our favourite way to pass time but we can’t wait to figure out your pups

I’m currently a stay at home mom, and kids are all in school, so looking to fill in the day with some walks or check ins. I have 4 beautiful kids, one senior dog and 2 cats, so we have a full house. But I wouldn’t change it for the world.
“We were very happy with Rachel's care for our Millie dog. Rachel was very attentive to Millie, she took photos and let me know how Millie was doing, seeing it was her first visit with Rachel at her home. Rachel was so welcoming, friendly and she had a nice little area set up for Millie. I really appreciated that, as Millie is shy at first, needs time to get used to her surroundings. When I picked Millie up, she looked at ease which tells me she had a good time. I look forward to next time Millie gets to visit with Rachel and her two little Chihuahuas.”

“We were camping in the area and wanted to take our kids to Science North, Shelby was very accommodating with our last minute booking. You can tell she's an animal lover and we felt comfortable leaving our fur baby with her for the day. It was nice not to have to worry about Fin while we were away! She came home happy! We would recommend Shelby :)”

“Kali was an excellent sitter for our high energy working breed dog (Coonhound/Springer Spaniel). It was great being able to leave our dog with someone with so much knowledge, training and understanding of dogs health and needs. Her exerperience in ecollar training was such a bonus as it allowed for a smooth transition and training maitenance under her care. She kept him happy, exercised and provided us with updates and photos throughout the stay. Will definetly continue to trust her with our pet sitting needs in the future!”

“I greatly appreciated Helena’s fast response to my last minute request for pet sitting. Her house is well set up for dog boarding and my dog was immediately at ease. Her dog Max was friendly to our dog and I could see they were going to have a fun visit together. Heena made sure to get the details about our dog’s habits and our wishes. There was a long lead and clothesline to allow the dogs to explore and play outside. It will be a great off lease area once the final piece of fence is installed. Heena was a pleasant host with whom I felt confident leaving our 2 yr old dog.”
