About: I have experience with positive reinforcement dog training and care, from young dogs to seniors that are blind, deaf, have allergies, need medications, ones that have special needs and diets, or rescues with PTSD. I currently work from home most days a month so I will be present and allow for as many bio breaks as they might need. If there are days I am required in the office, every effort will be made to ensure prompt return. When I have to run errands, I try my best to keep my time away to a few hours max. This is a fur babies come first home which is my principal foundation of how they will be loved and cared for. I have a bungalow style home which is great for pets that struggle with stairs. Even the sofa and bed are situated to accommodate accessibility for seniors and littles that want to be independent and make themselves at home. Do you have a little that isn’t a fan of taking potty breaks in the rain or snow? We have a little protected area for those that are particular. We also have a fully fenced backyard in a quiet area that is surrounded by nature, not far from the rails to trails. I also have two laid back senior toy poodles that will help keep your fur baby company and feel at ease. If there are any special circumstances or concerns you have regarding their routine and care, please let me know so I can ensure we maintain consistency. My experience working in two veterinary clinics, along with my Canine and Equine First Aid Instructor training, gives me confidence recognizing changes in an animal's health or behaviour and responding appropriately if a concern arises. Whether caring for pets in their own home or providing visits, I aim to keep their environment calm, familiar and stress-free. I will also keep owners updated so they can have peace of mind while they are away.

With minimal furniture and plenty of room, your dog has space to move, play and relax freely. Living alone allows me to give full attention, supervision and companionship. Your pet's safety and comfort are my top priorities. I follow consistent routines for feeding, walks, and rest, and keep a secure, hazard-free space. I also maintain trust and clear communication with owners through updates and photos, so you always know your dog is happy and well cared for. Nature walks are a key part of their day, providing exercise and mental stimulation. Whether it's playtime, cuddles or following a specific routine, I tailor care to each pet's needs, creating a nurturing, reliable and happy home-away-from-home.
About: Very comfortable with medication administration and any special needs your dog or puppy may need. Nurse by profession with a great love for all animals. I’m available from 5pm Friday until Monday morning 8am full care. If you have other needs through the week please message to discuss - here to help in any way with your pet care needs. My golden retriever Wilson both has free rein of the home and comfortable in his kennel. I would prefer kennel trained but if well mannered - fine to have free in the house.
