“I don’t think I’m gonna ever had a better babysitter/nanny then Kaitlin. She left her synopsis of the day every day and did so much with my two dogs. They are in such great shape and more polite and Kaitlin came. I am so very happy with everything that Kaitlin did, her dedication was 100%”

“Jay was prompt in their responses and they left our worried minds at ease. It was great to know that they had so much knowledge about animals, I had no concerns leaving our 3 cats in their care. They gave us updates and photos while we were away. I would recommend Jay without hesitation and will be using their services again in the future!”
About: Over the years, since I was 12 I have personally owned two cats who I’ve treated as my babies. My babies I have now, Johnny and Mary, are my angels. I’ve gone to many vet appointments, I am experienced in giving medication and I am always gentle. Pet care fits perfectly into my schedule. My time is very open, I’ve been looking for a job for a while now especially one to do with animals! Nothing makes me happier than coming home to see my baby, so I can’t wait to meet your fur baby and give them lots of extra love!! Johnny and Mary are both indoor cats. I have plenty of toys around for them and let them relax when they like. I think it’s always a good idea to have water out for them so they are always hydrated. :) I have no problem taking your fur baby to the dog park or wherever you please.
About: I absolutely love dogs and my two golden retrievers are my whole world. Taking care of them has taught me how important patience, routine, and attention are, and I treat every dog I sit with the same way — like part of my family. I make sure they get plenty of walks, playtime, cuddles, and all the little extras that make them feel happy and loved. Every dog is different, and I enjoy learning their quirks and making sure they feel safe, cared for, and completely spoiled while I’m with them. I love dogs and my two golden retrievers are a huge part of my life, so caring for pups fits seamlessly into my day-to-day. I make sure they get walks, playtime, and cuddles without rushing — just like I do with my own dogs. I’m happy to work around schedules, provide consistent care, and make every dog feel comfortable, safe, and loved while I’m with them. Pets aren’t just a job for me; they’re part of my daily life, and I treat every furry friend with the same attention and care I give my own. My home is extremely dog friendly and my dogs are used to other dogs being in the home. We live on a quiet street and have a huge yard for them to run. We also live right next to a beautiful walking trail that I use daily.
About: I’m a 30 year old dog lover who’s owned dogs since I was 7. From a small Pomeranian to a big Retriever-mix, so open to any and all dogs! (also cool with cats) I took a Veterinary Assistant course in 2016-17 at Maritime Business College in Dartmouth Nova Scotia and did a 6 week work placement at Sydney Animal Hospital. I’m reliable, patient and accommodating. I will treat your pet like my own and you both will have a pawsitive experience! I am working full time now so I am most flexible with jobs around the Sydney area, but I am also open to others nearby. Treat them like they are my own. Crate dog if needed, pay attention to any and all special needs, regular bathroom breaks and walks when needed.
Glace Bay pet parents share their Rover experiences
We have the utmost confidence in Jay. She goes above and beyond in providing care for our pet. Jay recently stayed in our home while looking after Paisley. Everything was well attended to, most importantly Paisley. The house was clean and Paisley’s fur almost glistened from numerous brushing sessions. Jay is a knowledgeable animal caretaker and is very easy and flexible in her approach. We appreciate the time she is able to devote to caregiving and the heart she puts into her work.
