About: I have learnt how to take care of cats and dogs since I was 5 years old and passion came naturally.Took my dogs to training schools and all of us just enjoyed it. Understanding and reading dogs are essential which make a happy and healthy life for them. I am home full time and have lots of time to look after your beloved dog.I put them first so my routine is organized by our daycare pups. We have fully fenced, well maintaned big yard which separeted in 3 sections.Carefully matching dogs by their behaviour and temperament to provide safe and fun playtimes during our care.
“We’ve looked long and hard for the perfect sitter for our high energy rascal, and we’ve finally found one. Selina is fantastic with Larry and so easy going. We will never need to look for another dog sitter again :)”

“Taylor was great - friendly, responsive and accommodating. Finn enjoyed spending a day at her home and was well taken care of. Will be the first person I look for next time we need help with Finn. Thanks again, Taylor!”

About: I have been around dogs my entire life and have experience caring for dogs of various breeds, sizes, and personalities. While I am new to Rover, I have regularly looked after dogs for family and friends, providing them with a safe, comfortable, and loving environment while their owners were away. I currently own a friendly Golden Retriever named Kobe who gets along well with other dogs and loves making new friends. Caring for my own dog has given me hands-on experience with daily exercise, feeding routines, basic grooming, administering medications when needed, and recognizing the importance of maintaining a dog's regular schedule. My family and I have a large, fully fenced yard that provides plenty of space for dogs to run and play safely. Whether your dog enjoys long walks, active playtime, or simply relaxing in a comfortable home environment, I will make sure they receive the attention, care, and exercise they need. I understand that every dog is unique, and I strive to provide personalized care that helps each pet feel safe, happy, and at home while their owners are away. My family and I have a very flexible schedule that allows us to provide plenty of attention and care for your dog. I am currently on paternity leave for the summer, and my wife is on maternity leave until September 2027, which means someone is almost always home to supervise and care for your pet. Once I return to work, I will continue working from home two days per week, while my wife remains home full-time. This allows us to maintain a consistent and comfortable environment for dogs staying with us. We are also available on weekends and can accommodate a variety of schedules. Your pet's safety, comfort, and happiness are my top priorities. Dogs staying with us are treated like part of the family and cared for in a safe, loving home environment. We have a large, fully fenced yard where dogs can run, play, and get plenty of exercise. Our dog Kobe, loves meeting new friends and is always happy to have a playmate. We are a family with two young children, so dogs staying with us should be comfortable around kids. Our children have grown up around dogs and are taught to be gentle and respectful with animals. All interactions are supervised to ensure everyone remains safe and comfortable. I take the time to learn each dog's routine, including feeding schedules, exercise needs, and any special instructions. Whether your dog enjoys lots of activity or prefers a quieter day, I will do my best to make them feel right at home. I understand that leaving your pet with someone else is a big decision. That's why I provide a safe, caring environment along with regular updates and photos, so you can enjoy your time away knowing your pet is in good hands.
“Erin was awesome! She tired our pup out really well and everything went really good! She sent lots of updates and photos and I’m sure our puppy got way more activity then he usually does! Will definetly use again!”

About: I have been honoured to be from a very animal Oriented family and have lived on a farm for most of my life. I have cared for and have given the best care and love to animals such as, Guinea pigs, cats, turtles, horses, dogs, and pretty much everything else you can imagine. I was born an animal lover and every animal becomes my family. I can identify special needs in any animal such as first aid, anxiety issues etc I work from home, so your pet has 24/7 attention. Be prepared for your loved one to get 3-4 walks a day along with an hour play time or a trip to the dog park daily! I have a fenced yard. My golden retriever is very patient and loves all types of dogs. If your dog is allowed on the couch or bed, well so is mine. I would rather your dog be able to cuddle and be comfy right beside me during the night to make them feel trust, and feel more comfortable in a strange environment. I am able to make every animal feel like home. Just ask my references … if your dog likes burger patties from McDonalds or pup cups from star bucks… I’m your girl… I am very experienced with highly reactive and aggressive dogs as well. Unfortunately, I do Have a dog of my own, but can manage very well as I am highly trained with aggressive dogs. I believe all dogs can be trained in a well loved and supportive environment once triggers are identified I spoil every animal like it’s my own! Great with puppies and super forgiving. We all make mistakes even if it’s our furniture!!! I have tons of training experience to make this not happen! I am fear based certified as I am a canine enrichment volunteer at the Ottawa Humane Society
“Ginger just came back from her first visit with Jessica and Dozer. Jessica was great at making Ginger feel safe and secure in this new environment and giving her some love and cuddles. Jessica sent me a bunch of pictures which was awesome and reassuring to me. Dozer (her big dog) was also great at giving Ginger the space she needed when we first got there. I will definitely bring Ginger back to Jessica’s!”

“Mina was amazing! This was my first time leaving Phoenix in someone else’s care outside of my family and Phoenix did so well, she was a bit shy at first but warmed up to her well. Thank you Mina ☺️”

About: My Aussie, Ava, is 5 years old and knows ~60+ commands. When looking after dogs that belong to friends/family they are treated the same as my Ava; that goes for training, obedience, walks, you name it! If there's a trick you want your dog to learn, I will do my best to help! I Love all animals although I am a dog person, through and through. My two cats, Polo & Pan, are incredible and loved equally. Can't wait to play fetch with your dog or scratch your cat behind the ears :) I'm off work for the time being, love animals and most of all, love being outside in nature breathing in the sweet fresh air! That being said, I am available all day Monday to Friday and most weekends. We can chat schedule and have a consistent time table My animals are my children. They receive the same love and care any human family member would be entitled to. I love them, treat them with respect, train them with enthusiasm and cuddle them each and every day. About: Being a mom to my border collie/aussie shepherd for almost 5 years showed me how pure a pet’s love is, and it made me want to look for more opportunities to spend time with pets. I currently volunteer at Penny Lane Animal Sanctuary, where I help take care of animals that come from situations of abuse and neglect. It is hard, rewarding work and I get to spend some time with cows, goats, sheep’s (and more!) while I am at it. I love taking care of animals and getting to know their quirks and unique personality. With a pretty high-energy dog that requires long walks, lots of exercise and mental stimulation, I can help you taking care of your pet, if you are struggling to find the time or the energy, or if you are going on vacation. I am available for walks, drop ins, house sitting, boarding or daycare. Send me a note if you’d like to schedule a meet and greet! 🐶 My schedule is pretty flexible. Whether it’s during the weekend, in the afternoon, evening, or a lunch drop in, my schedule is flexible enough to accommodate that. If you have an emergency event and need to leave the house, I can make myself available!

Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Bourget commute.
If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they do not have any disqualifying offences.

Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in ON ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines such as the DHPP or DA2PP, Rabies, and Bordetella.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. On Rover:
- 88% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 88% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 88% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
