“Echo loved staying with Deserae, she was loved and didn’t want to leave. Echo had the opportunity to run in open fields, see horses and cows and play with kids. Deserae sent multiple pictures and gave use hourly updates on how Echo was behaving. I will definitely be bringing Echo back to Deserae anytime we need dog sitting.”

“Laura took great care of Henry. She sent several photos and videos giving us reassurance that he was happy and content. She groomed him as a bonus! We appreciate care Laura gave Henry!”

“Our Doods, Toby + Dexter, had a great time staying with Amanda, and her precious family. They were all so attentive and played fetch, chase, hide & seek and of course - gave cuddles & kisses to Toby + Dexter. Amanda was sure to keep the fun inside, when it was too hot to play outside. The consistent photos and videos of The Doods, Toby + Dexter, kept our minds at ease during their stay. If you’re looking for a safe, fun and loving place for your four legged baby to stay, look no further.”

About: I am local foster through a local rescue. My husband and I both have a passion for dogs and will treat your fur babies like they are our own! We have experience caring for puppies as young as 8 week and seniors. We are comfortable administering medications if needed and are familiar with pups who may have seizures. We don’t have any stairs so there is no need to worry about a senior pup who might have hip issues needing to climb stairs. I work full time and my husband works full time as well. Our schedules are staggered so your pup would be let out first thing in the morning by myself and then my husband will resume until he leaves for work. Midday we have a family member come over and let the dogs go outside and allow them to eat and drink as well as have some time to play. They are never left alone for more than 4-6 hours at a time. The days I’m off I’m home and my husband works from home 2 days a week as well. We have had this routine for over 4 years now with our own personal dogs and there has never been any issues. We had a brand new privacy fence installed on July 12th! We have a half acre back yard so dogs will have plenty of room to run! We will do our best to accommodate any special requests you may have. Please note our home was recently built so our grass is still in the process of growing. There may be days your pet becomes muddy if conditions are rainy. I am happy to provide a bath for your pet for a small additional fee upon request. I also highly recommend doing a meet and greet prior to your stay to ensure your dog will be comfortable with my pets and around the house.
“Brooke was so good with our pup. She even helped him get potty trained while we were on vacation. She sent us videos, pictures, daily updates and even tips on training our dog. She’s very responsive and trustworthy. We didn’t worry at all and knew our puppy was in great hands! I cannot recommend her enough for your dog sitting needs.”

“Bogey and Birdie made themselves right at home at Gretchen’s. We can tell they got lots of TLC from her entire family. Communication was great and we received fun pictures and updates.”

“Ashley was just absolutely amazing! If I could give her 10 stars, I 100% would! She really went above and beyond taking care of our girl! We really enjoyed the consistent check-ins and pictures and appreciate the extra time she took to let us know how Harley was doing while we were away! I was so thrilled that she actually seemed to take the time to get to know our fur baby and treated her like one of her own! This was our first time boarding Harley, but Ashley made it so smooth and stress-free! Would definitely recommend and will be booking with her again in the future!”

“Ashleigh was great with all aspects of our dog's stay. Great communication before and during the stay along with pictures of how our dog was doing. Lucy was comfortable with Ashleigh and her home, and we look forward to using her again!”

“Janie is absolutely wonderful! When I had an emergency and needed a sitter at the last minute during Christmas, she replied to me immediately, which helped me so much. Throughout the stay, she sent me daily videos and photos of Poppy, and it was great to see him having so much fun playing with Maui and other friends. Before we left, she gave Poppy some delicious treats, which was such a thoughtful touch. I truly appreciate everything she did. I would definitely book with her again and highly recommend her to friends for future boarding needs!”

“Anne watched my dog over a recent weekend, and I couldn’t have been happier with the experience. My dog can be a bit timid and struggles with some separation anxiety, but Anne was wonderful with her. She kept me updated with pictures and videos showing my dog calm, comfortable, and getting along beautifully. It gave me a lot of peace of mind, and I would absolutely feel comfortable leaving my dog with Anne again anytime.”

“Cierra and her family were amazing to my super timid/anxious dog Mags. Mags got to enjoy the farm life while I was gone for 6days. I was able to relax and enjoy my trip knowing my dog was well taken care of. Cierra is everything you’re looking for! THANK YOU ❤️”

“Brooklyn was AMAZING! My dog has high separation anxiety and she catered to him in every way that she could to keep him comfortable. He was so content and relaxed with her plus had a great buddy to play hard with! She sent me lots of pics and kept me updated. I will absolutely use her again!”

“Nella was great with my dogs, my oldest dog doesn't typically eat when I'm gone and she let me know he was eating this past week,. Both my dogs are on meds and I try to keep them easily administered as possible.”

About: I’ve taken care of many kinds of dogs, cats, and horses from a young age. I also have experience in dog grooming, ranging from small to large dogs. I am fluent in American Sign Language. I am flexible as I work from home. I normally check pets at least two times a day, but more check in times are available upon request. I have a friendly dog who loves to play and make new friends. He will be very helpful in helping young dogs learn how to socialize.
“Raelynn was the sweetest and took excellent care of our two senior rottweilers. We were sent an update daily along with pics and could tell they were having a good time with her. Would recommend again and again!”

“Kim was AMAZING! She took care of our dog Peppers in her home for several days and sent daily pictures and updates, which we SO appreciated! She was also very flexible and accommodating with our schedule as we were traveling. Our dog enjoyed playing with her dog and seemed to have a very fun time with personal attention while he was there. He came home very happy and tired! When my husband picked up our dog she had packed his things nicely and even gave us a treat bag and card. We are so thankful to have found her and look forward to booking with her again!”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Aurora
Reanna and Nicholas were fabulous hosts and caregivers for Rocky. He recently had been given additional medication, and they were very willing to follow with administering per instructions. They sent us multiple photos, and we could tell he was having a VERY good time with their dogs....and we feared he would not want to come home with us...LOL!! We highly recommend them to anyone with a much loved dog...they'll take excellent care, and love it like their own. Thanks Reanna and Nick!

Many sitters in MO ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
