About: I’ve cared for animals since I was a child from dogs and cats to horses and working on farms. I now have three dogs that I have raised and trained since puppies. They are now 5,7, and 12. I have an overwhelming love for all animals. I’m currently working at the Wheel Inn in Benson, VT. I work nights and weekends so I have extra free time during daytime hours in the week. My pets at home run free, but I do have a small area fenced in if need. When caring for others pets I will follow any guidelines they have for their pets.

“Mark is very friendly and kind. You can see how much he really loves animals. I felt comfortable having him care for my pets while I was away for four days over the holiday. Mark showed up on time and was very thorough to make sure that each animal ate (they sometimes steal each other's food) and he was conscious of making sure that everyone was okay even though my one cat kept hiding on him. Mark communicated well and my house was pristine when I returned - as if I never had left. He took the time to play with my animals in addition to basic care. I think my trio enjoyed the visits just as much as he did!”

About: Having 21 years of personal pet care experience, both on and off of a farm, I have general knowledge of dog obedience training, socialization training and general grooming of both dogs and cats. I am always willing to learn new things, especially for the sake of the animals that I am responsible for, as well as encourage them to have fun, feel loved and know that they are always in the best care! I have high standards for myself in this regard, so you can always expect that your pet will be in the best hands. Not only that, but you can also count on my loving your furry friend as my very own. I work full time, Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM; I take hour long lunch breaks, traveling home to care for my pup and taking care of business in between. Weekends are open, within reason, and I am willing to modify my schedule for the right person and pet. I will follow clients’ specific guidelines on how to care for their pet(s), observing and reporting anything and everything that occurs during each visit. Routine and consistency is everything, and I will follow these to a “T”!

About: I have always had dogs my whole life and I love to be around animals of all kinds! I have worked at a kennel and a small animal hospital, where I had the opportunity to handle and play with all sorts of sizes, breeds and temperaments of dogs. I love going on dog walks, since it’s so special to be able to interact with a dog in a more relaxed environment. I think that exercise is a crucial part of a dogs life and I would love to help anyone that may not have quite enough time to get their dog out and about as much as they would like to. About: My name is Melissa and I have taken care of animals since my first dog in second grade. I currently have one 15 year old cat, a 12 year old Labrador, and a 10 year old Shih-Tzo. For many years my spouse and I fostered or adopted senior dogs who may not have had a chance to be adopted. I have open availability on weekends, however on weekdays I am available early mornings, evenings and overnights. I’m not available during the daytime on weekdays. I am experienced feeding animals in a variety of ways and will follow your instructions on feeding and walking. I ensure animals are well cared for, played with, and that they receive the attention and care needed.

I have a wealth of experience in pet care. Throughout my life, I have been responsible for taking care of my two dogs at home, as well as living with eight cats for a period of six months. Currently, I am a proud owner of a cat. Additionally, I have been caring for non-domestic animals, such as chickens, for the past eight years. Moreover, I have the opportunity to work with large groups of dogs on a daily basis. It's truly a fulfilling experience to provide care and support to these wonderful creatures. Animals require more mental stimulation than people may think. Just like humans, they thrive on mental stimulation. That's why it's crucial for animals to have social interactions with both humans and other animals. Providing exercise and outdoor time is essential for their well-being. That's why I always make sure to take my dogs and cats on regular walks. Additionally, I prioritize their overall health by ensuring they have plenty of nourishing food. About: I have been a dog owner for the past twenty years and can honestly say I could not live without them! After all, they are family. I am available weekday mornings and most weekends. I can offer play time, companionship, walks around town and general TLC. When my dog was a puppy he suffered a broken leg and he had a pin in his hip for quite some time. I nursed him back to health with the vets guidance. About: Relationship with animals has always been a passion of mine. I started grooming dogs with my grandmother at the age of 10, but was her assistant long before I earned the title. It brings me joy and fulfillment to care for pups and cats alike, while creating an environment where they (and you) can feel safe and earn my trust in the process. As a part time bartender at Pascolo Restaurant in Downtown Burlington, it would fit into my schedule to walk dogs in the morning, afternoon and early evening as well as weekends. There is a lot of freedom to work around your schedule :) In my home, I live off of Main Street in Vergennes and can provide safe walking around town as well as some of the trails near by. In your home, I am quick to adapt to whatever will make you most comfortable!

About: I have had dogs all of my life! I volunteered at the humane society as a foster care provider and found homes for many dogs during this time. I worked with a veterinarian for the past ten years and provided care for his dogs. I am very active and can also run with your dog if you have a high energy breed such as a husky. I will care for your dogs as if they were my own and can also groom, massage, administer medications, recommend holistic nutritional changes, and provide any additional services that your furry companion may need. I can bring your pup to obedience classes, vet visits, or grooming appointments! I will also work with dogs that have issues such as socialization issues, manner problems, or anything else we may discuss. I currently work from home, so I am able to watch the furry friends all day. They can have a private space in the home, in the yard, or join the pack. I can customize preferences to include a hike, trail run, short walks, pick-up/drop off at your pets location, light grooming, etc. In my home I have three dogs, and they can be separate or play together if preferred. i have a large fenced yard. There is also a separate studio with a kennel if needed. If visiting a clients home, I will adjust to clients preferences and instructions.
