“First of all, Anna has her own old cat that had been with her forever. That alone is a testament to her dedication to pets. Second, I left my own dog with Anna for doggie sitting multiple times. I never worried that she might miss me too much or be sad because I knew she’s in best hands and received all the attention she needs. For best care - contact Anna! I highly recommend leaving your pets in her hands :)”

About: With a lifelong passion for dogs, I've never gone without one in my home (sometimes even 6). Over the past 5 years of fostering experience I have honed my skills, ranging from caring for senior pups aged 16+ and nurturing puppies under 3 months. From daily walks to comfortably administering medication, I provide genuine, loving care for every pet entrusted to me. With a busy yet flexible schedule, I dedicate mornings to a class or two, ensuring I'm available for your furry friends during my breaks and free time. Afternoons may find me at work for a couple of hours, but rest assured, other trusted canine caretakers are in home to assist (if needed, I’m usually not gone for more than 3-4 hours). Pet care seamlessly integrates into my daily routine, ensuring your companions receive the attention and love they deserve whenever I'm available. In my home, pets are welcomed into a safe and loving environment. With a fenced backyard for playtime and exercise, as well as being just a 5-minute walk from a dog park, your furry friend will have plenty of opportunities for outdoor fun. Additionally, living with two experienced dog fosters/sitters ensures that your pet is always in good hands and receives the utmost care and attention. I have crates as well, so if one is needed I can provide that!

About: Hi there! I am a current college student and former doggy day care employee looking for different pet care opportunities. While I have cared for pets most of my life, I have almost 2 years of professional experience caring for, mediating behavior, feeding, and administering medications to up to 100 or more dogs at a time! I would be more than happy to train your puppy, show your senior pet some love and comfort, or spend some quality with your kitty! While my work experience is primarily with dogs, I love pets of all kinds, and would be so excited to care for any pet, no matter how “unusual” (snakes, lizards, spiders, insects, rodents, birds, etc.) I look forward to getting to know you and your pets! I go to school in Vermont, so I’m only home for the summer (until mid-August). Pet care is going to me my main source of income this summer, so I have no other conflicting work schedule. I do have a pup at home that I walk sometime midday (12-2pm). Exercise is an important part of my routine which is typically flexible, but I go to my boxing gym at around 5:30 around 3 or so days a week. I also love hiking (usually on Sundays) and would love to bring more active pets along with me if I can! How I plan on caring for your pet is primarily determined by client instruction. I will do my best to care for your baby the same way you would! I prefer to use positive reinforcement for training or behavior modification, and I like to keep feeding and medication schedules quite consistent. I also really enjoy sending lots of photo check ins! I feel most comfortable when you and your pets feel most comfortable, and it’s incredibly important to me to establish a relationship built on mutual trust. To me, your home is a workplace environment, and will be treated with the same respect.
19. Kristen Z.
“Kristen is super-professional and smart, and our dog loved her almost immediately! Kristen caught on right away with how best to interact with our dog and even convince him to walk with her when he wasn’t sure. Now he gets very excited every time he sees her. I highly recommend Kristen as a dog walker/sitter!”

About: As a seasoned pet caregiver, my expertise is pet care for all ages and types of animals. Specializing in puppy training and dedicated senior care sets me apart. I also am experienced with a large range of animals (from horses and pigs to dogs and cats). I absolutely love all types of animals (and miss my family dog and cat immensely), so I will treat your pet just like they are my own. I am also super active and love going for hikes, runs, and long walks. I love playing fetch, going to dog parks, and making your pup as happy as they can be while you are away! I also got my first degree in pre-veterinary science and was a veterinary assistant for a year, so I am comfortable with all types of animal care and necessary medications. I am currently a student at the university of stamford and have weekends available, Monday available, and the afternoon-evenings of Thursday and Friday available. I can be pretty flexible, so if you are considering me at all but have some questions, please feel free to reach out! At my house, I live in a spacious apartment with one cat. I live right across the street from a big park that I can walk the dog in and a dog park that is fenced in where the dog can play.
