“Valerie did an amazing job checking in on our two labs while we were camping. We had a few days when we could not take the dogs with us on our adventures, so we are thankful we had someone take of our fur babies for walks, to water them, and interact with them. She took pictures during each visit for us to see how they were doing. Our fur babies were well taken care of during these check-ins, and we will definitely use Valerie next time we camp in the area.”

About: I’ve had my own pets since I was 6. I’ve had cats, dogs, hamsters , and currently have chickens, ducks, and 3 cats. I have cared for pets off and on over the years for friends and family and have about 20+ years experience! I am a stay at home mom to my 3 kids. My kids love pets and would enjoy playing/helping as long as you are comfortable with this, but also I completely understand if someone is not comfortable with this. I have some flexibility throughout my days that I can care for your pet(s). Aside from caring for my kids and our own pets, I would love to help take care of your fur-baby! I do not have a fenced in yard, but we do have a large yard and are very far away from the road and on our road is not very busy, we do have neighbors with lots of pets and they have handled this area/property well - hopefully that helps. I would prefer to visit your home to care for your pets, but my home is also an option.

About: I’ve been taking care of critters all shapes and sizes since I was a teenager. In the past I have done pet sitting jobs, but wanting to expand to walking, boarding, training and basic grooming. I am home all day and can easily get to and from locations to walk dogs. I prefer walking dogs who have been socialized with other dogs and know basic commands. I can teach a few new tricks as well on our walks. I currently have my service dog in and he goes everywhere with me, can be a buddy for your dog! They’ll both get some exercise, play, and socialization! Or a solo walk, can implement some training as well to stimulate your dogs mind as well as body.

About: I believe that I came into this world with a profound love for all animals. I grew up in rural, Southwest GA, and spent the majority of my childhood days playing with our many dogs and cats. My father was a lab breeder, so I grew up constantly loving and tending to the pups! We also had many outdoor, 'barn' cats which occupied my time as well. Fast forward to present, I now have a five year old, female Golden Retriever (Josie) of my own and she is my most loyal companion. She is extremely loving, friendly, obedient, and will keep your pet very entertained during the stay! I also have a seven year old cat (Tuna) who is very affectionate, but also values her alone time. If needed, dogs can be taken out by leash!

Animals are one of the best joys in life as they provide so much happiness and companionship to our lives. So much so, like they are our children and I believe they each have a personality of their own. I would love the opportunity to take care of your pets no matter his or her needs. I know it can be nerve wrecking to leave them and I would be so happy to take care of them and ensure you they are taken care of while you are away. I have experience taking care of my own pets as well as many years of dog sitting/walking experience. I currently have a 10 year old chocolate Labrador, 3 year old golden doodle. My schedule is flexible as I am in my Masters program. So, I will be available to take care of your pets on weekdays as well as weekends.
