The communication lines were kept open during the time I was away which was a huge help and Audrey was treated with utmost loving care. “We had only had our 4 lb. Maltese puppy, Oliver, about 2-1/2 weeks before we had to leave for a previously scheduled vacation. Naturally he was not housebroken and needed lots of playful attention as puppies all do, so this was not just an ordinary "overnight stay with a dog" need. After we requested contact online through Rover, Wendy responded very quickly and spent a nice amount of time with me on the phone. She came to our home to meet Oliver and us, and then came again a couple of days before our trip, to get to know the house and Oliver's needs. She is a very calm, pleasant person. You could see she was really looking forward to spending a week with our puppy and really put us at ease. On the last day of the job, Oliver got stung by a bee in his ear (while just going potty in our backyard). She reacted immediately by contacting my mother who lives nearby, and since he is so little, they decided to take him to the vet. (which is exactly as I had left instructions to do in case of emergencies) She called me to advise me of the situation and handled everything very calmly. She sent pictures and texts regularly during our vacation (which was wonderful since we were really missing him!) And our home was left in perfect condition for our arrival home, I would HIGHLY recommend her and we will definitely be calling upon her again soon. Thank you Wendy!!”

About: I'm a 54 year old animal lover with experience with dogs, cats, birds, some reptiles and rodents. I've had many different sizes and breeds of dogs as well as cats, reptiles, rodents and an African Grey parrot over the past 35 years and adore all of their little personalities. I'm single, reliable, flexible and love all animals. I fostered small dogs with PAWS for 2 years, which I absolutely loved. I will take care of your pets to your specifications and leave your home as clean as you left it. I have no problem with pet messes. I raised 4 children and had lots of animals so I’m very experienced. I’m not employed. This is my job so I have time for your pet! I promise to spend time taking care of them and wearing them out and/or giving them all the love. I can feed, play, give treats, give them scratches or pets, anything that you tell me makes them happy I will do. I will leave your home the way I found it.
