About: I have cared from all dogs and cats from puppies to elderly. I have worked with crate training and other forms of training. I have also worked with high drive and working breeds such as border collies. I am currently a full-time work from home employee allowing me to have plenty of time to take care of all of my animals from there food to play needs. I have a fenced in yard in a friendly suburb. All of my animals are super friendly to any new fur babies. They love to share their toys as well!

About: I have taken care of dogs and cats for as long as I can remember. I currently own 2 dogs, a blue nose pit bull, Luna and a boxer, Dan. I also help care for other pets in the family including my dad’s 2 pities and 2 cats. I would be available to come care for your pets while you’re away from home or I could come spend time with your pets by walking them, potty time, feedings or whatever needs you would like for your pets. I have worked in childcare for the last 3 years and would like to begin working with family pets to hopefully begin a career in pet care. Since I recently left my full time job I have incredibly flexible hours to provide one on one time with your beloved pets. I can take pictures and videos to share with you while your loved ones are in my care and I can provide text updates. I have open availability and can care for dogs and/or cats at any time of the day! I could spend my whole day with animals! My typical day is waking up and walking my dog. I feed her breakfast and then we spend the day going on walks and adventures!

About: Animals are my life, I have a 6 year old lab mix and 2 kitties that are my kids. I have experience working with animals as I work at the animal shelter during the week days. I really enjoy being around animals and would love to help take care of your baby’s! I work at the animal shelter during the day on week days but I am always free in the evenings and weekends! I do work one Saturday out of the month but will be free those evenings. I don’t mind staying in the home if that is something you would feel comfortable with! I have a dog that loves other dogs if you your baby needs a friend I also have transportation if you would like me to take them to the park or on walks.

About: I grew up with several pets and have had several of my own. I currently have a Bor-doodle dog who is service trained. My family used to train and groom dogs so I’m educated on that as well! I do mentoring for children part-time at the moment. But I do make my own schedule and can fit it around all of your pets needs! I care for pets by feeding them, walking them, taking them on hikes, and making sure they get the attention they need while their owner is gone whether that is in home or in my own home!

“I have know Melissa for many years. I met her through 4-H when her kids joined our dog training club Fauquier Puppy Pals. I immedately discovered that she was very knowledgeable in training and caring for dogs and she quickly became part of our training team. She is now the club's leader and has guided many kids and dogs to the 4-H State Dog Show. In the meantime, Melissa's experience with dogs continues to expand. She is a well qualified breeder and again her knowledge is immense as she is always educating herself. Her contacts within the community are broad. I find that I can always depend on her to offer great advice on questions about the care of my dogs. Melissa is a very dependable person and I can always trust her to follow through with responsibilities. As a caregiver of dogs, I trust Melissa immensely. She obviously loves all animals and their care is her upmost passion. She isn't squeamish about cleaning up accidents and muddy paws and ensures the animals in her care are well fed, clean and healthy. You can depend on her to come into your home and care for your animals. For this reason, I have used Melissa on several occasions to care for our 3 dogs when we have been out of town. Two of our dogs are on medications/special diets and I KNOW that she ensures they get their medication and their diet is followed. I highly recommend Melissa for caring for your pets.”

About: Schedule change beginning 5/19 Tuesday/Thursdays will become Thursday/Friday Walks are anytime between 8 am and 10 pm Tuesdays and Thursdays. During the rest of the week they will occur between 6 pm and 10 pm—primary work schedule dependent. Your pup spends their day waiting for you to come home, let me make their wait more enjoyable and comfortable while giving you peace of mind. I am a retired fear-free certified dog groomer, veterinary technician and shelter medicine technician. I can give twice a day meds upon request along with injectable’s, fluids, oral and topical medications. I am experienced with all breed types and temperaments however aggressive dogs must be notified or all services will be suspended upon encountering the unwarned behavior. Resume provided upon request. Tuesdays and Thursdays 8 am to 10 pm. All other days 6pm-10pm (varies based on work schedule, please inquire) By appointment only, rabies vaccine required, I travel to you with my equipment. Nail grinding and trimming($20), nail grind($15), or just nail trimming ($12). I can also shave pads for $20 but this is an add on service and can only be purchased in addition to one of the listed services. I check the property before dogs are let out/taken out. I can block the door on escape artists rather quickly, and I will always call you in the event of an emergency or a concern arises. I can send picture(s) from the visit as well. My dog will not be attending.

About: An animal lover since birth, I have spent my life dedicated to animal welfare. I have volunteered at animal shelters, participated in fostering dogs as part of a rescue group, and follow a plant-based and cruelty-free lifestyle. I have puppy sat breeds ranging from shih tzu, chihuahua, beagle, American eskimo, Labrador, pit bull, boxer, Australian cattle dog, Great Dane... and the list goes on! Additionally, I have cared for/fostered/rescued cats, wildlife and farm animals. I have been a Park Ranger for 8 years, specifically studying wildlife. I am a resident of Luray, Virginia where I live with my partner and our furry children-two pit bull mixes-Harper and James. About: I have one adorable lab mix who is my baby. She is 7 and a half years old. If I’m home house sitting, I’d like our dogs to be compatible. My dog loves all other dogs and people! I have had cats in the past. I love all animals and I’m willing to help! I work at a school and love children! I have a large home and a large yard. I will be up front and honest. Especially about if I can care for your dog appropriately or not. I can do evenings during the week and once it is July I am free any day! I am an 11 month employee, so in July I can book whoever whenever! I care for my dog like a child. I would care for your dog like family as well! I love animals and would throw rocks at anyone who disrespected an animal, lol.
