About: I grew up on a farm where I took care of many range of animals. I have always had cats and dogs, so I’m experienced and love taking care of them. I am also an animal science major! I am currently a student with very open availability. I only go to class about 1 hour to 2 hours. I have open availability Friday-Sunday. I also don’t usually go home for holidays. I am currently on summer break and I have total open availability. I have an open yard, but I do have a fenced in area in the back. I have open space for play and I love playing outside with animals. Animals are allowed on my furniture, but I can keep them off per request.

About: I've been taking care of dogs since I was about 5 when my grandma started her pet sitting business I've been going with her on hundereds of pet sits enjoying every single one. As well as having 2 dogs of my own that I love so much and have been taking care of for 5 years now. it fits in anywhere in my schedule as I recently quit my job for the summer and just want to hangout with some pets and have fun! I will care for clients pets in their own home by always double checking everything and ensuring the safety and well being of the pet at all times.

About: Lets face it, everyone on Rover loves animals (or else we wouldn't be here...right?) We all know how much our animals mean to us. They are our family; our soulmates and best friends for life. What happens when emergencies arise, or we want to use that PTO at work. Or, what happens if you just need help? I am here to help you and your fur babies! Although you may be nervous reaching out to others regarding your animals, rest assured, I understand. For my entire life, I had family and friends who would help me watch my dogs. I didn't have to rely on a stranger for anything. If I was going on vacation, I would call my mom for help. If I needed someone to do drop in visits if I stayed late at work, I would call my friend who lived down the road. Not until recently have I begun to reach out to others for help with my fur babies. I moved 26 hours away from my hometown in Minnesota to Spring Hill Florida, where I knew absolutely no one and had no support. If it wasn't for Rover, I wouldn't have had any help with pet sitting. After meeting an incredible Rover sitter, I have decided to extend my assistance to anyone in need. I had such an incredible experience with my Rover sitter, and I hope I can give the same to others and their pets. My love for animals doesn't stop with just myself and my animals, it goes beyond to others and their animals. There has NEVER been a time where I didn't go above and beyond for an animal in need. At the end of 2022, I saw a little blue heeler on the euthanasia list in Texas. After 36 hours straight of pleading and making calls to rescues and fosters, I was able to arrange a short term foster for him; and then 2 weekends later I drove 16 hours one way to bring him home. He now has his own spot in our bed every night where he no longer has to worry about being abandoned. That following spring, I coordinated a foster/rescue of another blue heeler. I arranged transportation from Texas to Mississippi, and then I helped get him from Mississippi to Florida, where he eventually got adopted to a family in south Florida. I am very involved with rescue work, here in Florida and in Texas and Minnesota. It has been a lifelong passion of mine to help those in need (and not just animals as well.) In addition to my passion and sacrifice for animals, I have many years of experience with many different species of animals (farm animals, small and large breed animals, many different breeds of dogs and feline friends) I have professional training and animal handling experience. During my time in college, I worked at the local Petsmart in Bozeman MT and gained valuable training through their training internship. I have had an internship with my hometown large animal veterinarian and received training on medication and handling. I am very fortunate to have work from home employment which in turn, allows me to have a very flexible schedule! I can take longer breaks, start and finish when it is best for me, and can work on weekends if needed. Earning trust is very important to me. Letting a dog become familiar with you is where I first start. Whether it be letting them come to you on their own terms, or playing with them, whatever they need to see that I'm not a threat, I provide. Keeping control of animals outside of their home is essential for safety and even trust. If the yard is not fenced in, a leash is always something I use. When inside, I make sure the pet feels at home and is comfortable. Trust and environment go hand in hand. If the dog is in a stressful and fearful environment, trust won't grow. The right environment is essential for the trust to sprout; and it is my duty to provide a safe environment right from the start with any animal.

About: Since I was a teen I've taken care of my neighbors' dogs and cats every now and then. I've house sat before a couple times and the rest were visits. I did a birds and small mammals internship at the Waco zoo in summer of 2023 so I have a bit of exotic animal care experience if it is needed. I'm working full time right now but so far the shifts aren't super long so I have time to feed and take out any pets that I need to take care of. I take very good care of any pets I need to. I pay attention to my own, and others. I will love on them, give you updates, and check in with any questions I have so I can provide the best care possible.

About: I have taken care of animals since I was little and have always enjoyed it. Growing up with animals gave me the passion and love I have today for animals. I truly enjoy being a part of each and every life I encounter and every moment I get to spend with them. My family relies on me to watch and care for their pets quite regularly and consistently. I am here for you and your companions so please feel free to reach out with ANY questions, concerns or if you need accommodations. My prices non-negotiable. I currently work at a Hospital and have rotating weekends. I am flexible on my times and dates. Please message me if you need services and are unsure of my availability. I will do my best to accommodate and set up stays or drop ins, it will depend on my work schedule. Please send me a message if you are unsure. I have a fully fenced in yard and two fur babies to keep them company. If they are not good with other animals I am able to keep them separated throughout the visit. Also have a XL kennel, small kennel, and a dedicated room if separation is necessary for any other reasons. The fenced yard provides a safe play space outside for your fur baby to enjoy throughout the day. Potty breaks will be every 2-4 hours or as often needed. I do not leave any animals unattended during house sitting or boarding.

About: I am a huge animal lover especially of dogs and cats! I have quite a bit of experience with dog sitting for friends, family and neighbors and even have owned many dogs, big and small, of my own! I definitely take every advantage I get to love on, play with and care for a cute fur baby! I am currently a full time college student attending classes everyday of the week! However, my classes only take about 4 hours (including my drive) of my morning/afternoon and the rest of my time is very open! I can easily crate your dog if needed and if a crate is used as well as have experience with controlling all sized dogs while walking. I also will gladly send updates and pictures of your sweet pet while you are away if wanted too!

“Jamie is one of the most caring and selfless people I have ever met. Her animals are her entire life. She is a first class horse trainer and equine therapist. She put 45 days on my barrel horse for a tune up and did an amazing job! She cared for him like he was her own. All of her horses and other animals are very well taken care of as she has extensive experience in animals from working as a Vet tech. About a year ago, 2 pot belly pigs wandered up to her place and she took them in without hesitation. They are friendly, happy, and healthy. From dogs to cats, to pigs, horses, and even ducks, Jamie is amazing and would be a great pet sitter! She is one of the most caring and responsible people that I know.
