About: I am a registered Veterinary technician who has worked in the field professionally for 8 years. I've worked ER, Urgent Care and General Practice. I have owned dogs/cats for 20 years+. I have experience with many different species of animals. I can medicate them and monitor them if they’re sick. I can do basic grooming (brushing, slight trims, baths) brushing teeth, and nail trims. I currently own 2 Great Danes, 9 cats and 3 ducks. All my cats are good with dogs. I know that is a lot of animals in my house already, however I own a large 2 story house (almost 3000 sq feet) and keep all dogs separated while eating, at night and when we’re not home. The more animals the merrier! I am very passionate about animals of any kind. Helping animals has been a life long dream of mine that I am now able to fulfill by working at a vets office. I would like to do more for animals by helping them in other ways. I love all kinds of animals, not just dogs and cats. Furry, scaly, small, and large. Currently I am only working part time at a veterinary urgent care so my schedule is pretty flexible. Once I start working somewhere else full time, that might change, will all depend on what I'm working. I care for clients pets just like they are my own. About: Nursing by trade, so administering medication’s is second nature to me. Oral medication’s And if need be shots. My previous dog required medication twice a day and weekly shots, so senior care comes second nature to me. Currently puppy training with my 6 month old. So I have puppy care and senior care covered. Currently only working 2 shifts per week in nursing, filling my remaining time with a hobby that I enjoy. This leaves my schedule open to help others I love dogs more than people somedays. (honesty truly is the best policy) My 8 month old Golden Retriever is currently In training to be a therapy pup, so your fur baby will get to socialize. I live in a nice neighborhood with plenty of walking trails and sidewalks. I have a nice back yard, in a quiet neighborhood. Linoleum floors throughout my house, which makes it perfect for puppies accidents, who are not quite housebroken.

“Betsy did a great job with my 3 dogs while I was in town at a trade show. She was communicative, helpful and accommodating when my schedule kept shifting. I felt like she had a good setup to handle the dogs, adequate space and the fenced back yard was just the right size! I felt confident my dogs were in very good hands and her Beagle, Elvis was very friendly and welcoming. She sent me a photo, which was very welcome. Would have loved to have seen more, but I realize it can get hectic with kids & dogs! Thank you again!”
