He understands the importance of a meet and greet for new dogs, and paid great attention and care to my dog's personality and well-being and to earning his trust. It's clear that loves meeting and caring for dogs, has good instincts, and definitely cares about their well-being beyond just the walk; he helped work on Blizzard's walk commands and keep them consistent, and stayed a bit after walks to continue making friends. I had him walk Blizzard while I was out of town, and would normally walk him myself, but if I was unable to exercise him again I would definitely ask Jason to care for him again.”

About: I grew up in South Africa and going on safari was a big part of our culture. Loving animals is in my DNA. When I lost my 20 year old cat, I started walking and playing with a neighbor's Husky to fill the void. Currently I have no pets of my own, so your baby will be my baby until you return. I just moved back to the mountain and work mostly from home. I am very hands on, have a lot of love to give and have a natural knack with animals. My cat used to sleep in bed with me every night, so I look forward to having more little fur balls to cuddle. Animals are my passion and I'm so grateful for living in the mountains with all the wildlife around. Pets need love, security and re-assurance when their human parents are on vacation. That is why I prefer to house sit. I can also just drop in for feedings and walks if you are more comfortable with that. I will treat your fur babies with love and respect and give them lots of play and cuddle time! Your wish is my command and I will follow any special instructions or routines you may have.

“Dakota is an amazing pet caregiver. My dog Stacy is a tough cookie. She’s not a friendly dog and does not open up to people. I had my grandma come out to visit and decided to ask Dakota to watch Stacy for me. Stacy stayed with Dakota for a week and during the week my baby’s was cared for. Stacy was given treats and cuddles and went out on walks everyday. I would trust Dakota with my baby Anyday. She is one and considerate and puts fur babies first. About: I have been fortunate enough to grow up around dogs all my life, from small, medium and large dogs and of all ages. I am not a professional dog trainer, but I have learned along the way a lot of patience and determination when it comes down to training, consistency is key. Have fun while seeing progress on commands and response from each dog is an amazing feeling. Showing the dogs love and acknowledgement of their work being applaud and with some treats of course. I am a lover of all dogs; I want to care and meet many more. Not just them but also their owners in any way possible to make their personal and work life easier. I am a mother of two kids and of two fur babies. I have time to show and create fun and engaging play dates with my little family including your fur baby. I have plenty of space inside and out my home where the doggies can run around and play with plenty of toys. I also do have extra crates only if needed or preferred. About: I grew up in a household housing pets all the time. I’ve had the opportunity to care for cats, dogs, guinea pigs, ducks, and a rabbit. I am familiar with animal’s nutrition and exercise needs. I’ve been able to carefully asses small injuries that can be treated at home and which ones require a visit to the vet. I’ve learned to pick up on the different personalities that each pet has and used it to ensure that each one is loved and in a happy environment. I’ve always been around pets, and I have a dog of my own named Khyzer (who is a very good boy!!). I also spend time researching how to properly feed and take care of different dogs based on their breed, size, age, and weight to gain more awareness. I have a big and beautiful backyard for dogs to roam around and play! :D I never leave pets (including my own pets) unsupervised outside in my backyard (backyard only!! front yard has no fencing so it is dangerous).
