Über: Hello! I’m Jannik, a Dog Person without a dog. I grew up with dogs and have years of experience taking care of our furry friends. I live together with my wife Marie who is also a dog enthusiast. At the moment we can not fit a dog full time in our lives, but we would love to spend more time with dogs - that’s why we registered here. 🐶❤️ We work both full time but are usually working from home with flexible work hours. On the weekends we usually go for long walks and would love the company of a dog. We have fairly large apartment with a small dog play ground around the corner. Also there is a big park in the neighborhood where we can walk the dog on a leash.

“Fran took care of my dog and cat while I was away in vacation for 3 weeks. She was great. My dog requires medicine treatment everyday due to an illness and she made sure to administrate it every single day. You can see she loves animals and although is a job, she really enjoys being around pets genuinely and even send me pictures of them whenever I ask. My cat that I was so afraid to leave alone was really well taken care too, she brushed him everyday (is a long hair cat) and give him a lot of attention. “Anna has been our boys (Olliver & Louey's) nanny for over a year. You will not find a more responsible, loyal, trustworthy & loving person. When we would leave them with her we had absolutely no concerns or worries, we knew our boys were in safe hands. Anna was more concerned of their care & happiness than I think we were, she is that sweet. She played, walked, talked & snuggled with them. She would let them sleep with her when she stayed at the house. She cleaned up after them when they did their business walking. Before she started working for us she went out of her way to meet the boys & get to know them so they would be use to her . You will not find anyone more responsible to fill this position. Our only regrets is that she left. One more thing if anyone is looking for an overnight nanny she is your girl!!”

Über: Hallo! Mein Name ist Jasper. Ich bin Deutsch-Amerikaner, in Los Angeles aufgewachsen und studiere gerade in Hamburg. Ich bin mit zwei grossen Hunden und einer Schildkröte aufgewachsen, die ich hier in Deutschland sehr vermisse. Beide Hunde (eine Pitbullmischung und eine Schäferhundmischung) hat meine Familie durch eine Rettungsorganisation adoptiert für die ich auch ehrenamtlich gearbeitet habe und oft Pflegehunde versorgt habe. Ich habe Erfahrung als Hunde- und Haussitter für Familien mit mehreren Hunden, sowie auch als “Hund Läufer”. Ich war in der Schule im Langstreckenlauf Wettkampf aktiv und habe meine Liebe zum Laufsport mit der Liebe für Hunde verbunden. Ich habe über ein Jahr lang regelmässig eine Pittie Hündin die zuviel Energie hatte, zweimal pro Woche auf meine Jogging Runden mitgenommen damit sie zu Hause nicht soviel Unsinn anstellt. Gerne laufe ich auch mit Ihrem Hund wenn das benötigt ist. Mich bei Rover als Hundesitter anzubieten ist für mich nicht nur ein Weg ein bisschen extra Geld zu verdienen aber auch ein Weg ein bisschen Hundeliebe zu erhalten bis ich meine Skipper und meinen Bart wieder in die Arme schliesen kann. Hi, my name is Jasper Jahn. I am a German- American hailing from Los Angeles who currently studies in Hamburg. I grew up with two large dogs and tortoise, who I all miss terribly. Both our dogs were rescues from an oragnization for which I also volunteered through fostering and assisting at adoption events. I have experience as a dog and house sitter also for multi animal housholds as well as a „dog Runner“. I ran for the Cross Country team of my High School and for over a year I combined my love for dogs with my running and took a young pitbull girl on my runs so that she would not act up at home as large breed, young dogs often do when they are not exercised. I can offer this to your dog as well. Signing up for Rover is not only a way to make some extra money form e, but mainly to get some dog love until I can hug my Skipper and Bart at home again. Ich habe Schule jeden Wochentag von 8-15 Uhr, aber habe viel Freizeit danach. Ich bin auch frei auf der Wochenende, und habe zur Zeit keine andere Verantwortungen. Zuhause in Amerika habe ich zwei große hunde, mit dem ich immer durch die Nachbarschaft gelaufen habe, oder manchmal habe ich mit die in der Hinterhof gespielt.

Über: Schon als ich sechs war habe ich den kleinen Nachbarshund ausgeführt und mit dem großen herumgetobt. Jetzt bin ich fertig mit der Schule und habe wieder mehr Zeit, welche ich wieder öfter mit Tieren verbringen möchte:) PS: Ich habe sehr viel Energie Da ich noch ein paar andere Jobs habe ist eine gelegentliche Absprache sicher von Vorteil, besonders was die Auswahl des Tages angeht. Ansonsten passt es mir fast immer morgens oder vormittags. Nachmittags und abends natürlich auch, da variieren die Tage allerdings besonders, je nach Arbeitszeiten. Und eine Nachtschicht bin ich theoretisch auch bereit unter der Woche einzulegen, das müsste dann auch abgesprochen werden :) Je nach Tier natürlich...Aber prinzipiell sorge ich für Spaß und Unterhaltung, so dass Langeweile verfliegt. Ich habe jedoch auch meine ruhigen sanften Momente, da ist dann Entspannung für beide möglich.
