“Dexter has just returned from a fabulous stay with Sophie. He hadn't boarded before so we were a bit worried but needn't have been. Sophie had great communication from the start, replying to our booking request very quickly. She put us at ease at the initial meet & greet walk & Dexter took to her straight away. Nothing was too much trouble at all - Dex can be quite fussy & wa had great photo updates frequently so we knew how he was getting on. He looked like he was particularly enjoying the forest walks on the long lead. Sophie obviously loves looking after pets & this shines through with the care & consideration she gives. I would have no hesitation with recommending Sophie and using her again to look after Dex. Thank you Sophie.”

About: I have a degree in animal management and I have been a genuine dog lover since I was a tiny child! I have two dogs of my own, a beautiful Irish Setter and a Cocker Spaniel. I work from home 4 days a week and love to walk in the countryside where I live. I am able to do up to three walks a day and while I’m at home boarders will have access to a generous fenced garden. Boarders will sleep and be fed separately to my dogs to prevent any issues and can be walked separately if required. I work predominantly from home Tues-Friday and typically do a walk in the morning before breakfast, a walk at lunchtime if the weather is not excessively hot (rain doesn’t bother us!) and a walk in the evening before dinner. Dogs are given access to the garden during the day when I am home to supervise. On Mondays dogs are left between 8:30 and 3pm but are walked before I leave and upon my return. Boarders will be kept apart from my own dogs when unsupervised. I have a fenced garden that has proved secure for both of my dogs. Both my dogs are friendly, dog-social and are up to date on their flea, tick, worming and vaccinations. I have two young children who are used to interacting with dogs however children and dogs are never left alone unsupervised or allowed to play without adult assistance. Boarding dogs are always fed and sleep separately to my own dogs.

About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life. My love for them started with my childhood cat, Doodles. Every evening she'd curl up on my chest, and this has always been one of my favourite childhood memories. When I was around 10, we welcomed our family dog Bramble into our lives. My love for animals extends beyond cats and dogs. While travelling around South East Asia, I volunteered and donated at an animal shelter in Koh Samui, made a point of visiting only ethical elephant sanctuaries in Chiang Mai where the elephants aren't ridden or touched, and even met the incredible landmine detection rats in Cambodia. Those experiences strengthened my passion for animal welfare and my respect for every animal, big or small. My schedule is changing soon, which means I'll have even more time to spend caring for pets! In just a couple of weeks, I'll be working part-time, giving me plenty of flexibility during the week. I'll be available on multiple weekdays for daytime walks, drop-in visits, and quality time with your pets. I'm also available for boarding throughout the week. Thursdays are my one regular day working away from home, so if your pet is staying with me on a Thursday, I'll be out during the day but back by the late afternoon or evening (depending on my shift). Outside of that, I'll have lots of time at home to keep your pet company, making sure they get plenty of attention. I'm always happy to discuss your pet's routine and see how I can make my schedule work for you and pet. I know that inviting someone into your home requires a lot of trust, and I take that responsibility seriously. Because of my job, I regularly travel and stay in Airbnbs during the week, so I'm very used to treating other people's homes with care and respect. I always follow check-out instructions carefully, and I'd bring that same attention to detail to your home—whether that's sticking to your pet's routine, locking up securely, or following any house rules you've left for me. Growing up with both a cat and a dog who weren't always the best of friends also means I'm very familiar with using pet gates, managing different areas of the house, and being mindful not to leave anything lying around that pets could get into. I'll always leave your home clean and tidy, exactly as I'd hope someone would leave mine. And because I know how hard it can be to be away from your pets, I'm more than happy to send regular photo and video updates, so you can relax knowing they're happy and safe.
About: I have been a dog owner since my early childhood. I have experience looking after puppies as well as senior dogs. I currently have a very energetic dog that requires lots of walks. She is very friendly and misses a lot her companion, our dachshund that passed away 3 years ago. I am in full time employment, however I work from home twice a week, Mondays and Fridays. I am also available for dog walks and pet sitting most weekends. About: I've grown up with dogs my whole life, so being around them and taking care of them has always come naturally to me. From feeding and walking to just giving them attention, I'm really comfortable handling their day-to-day needs and making sure they're happy and getting all the love they deserve! I now live with my partner Liam, who also grew up with dogs of all shapes and sizes, from Rottweilers to Jack Russells, so we're both very used to having them around. We're massive dog lovers and really enjoy spending time with them, whether its going for walks or just keeping them company and making them feel at home! On the weekends we enjoy being active and going for walks around the neighbourhood, we would love to be able to bring a dog along with us! About: I’ve been looking after dogs since I was 14 years old, caring for friends’, family’s and neighbours’ dogs on a regular basis. About: I have a degree in animal management and I have been a genuine dog lover since I was a tiny child! I have two dogs of my own, a beautiful Irish Setter and a Cocker Spaniel. I work from home 4 days a week and love to walk in the countryside where I live. I am able to do up to three walks a day and while I’m at home boarders will have access to a generous fenced garden. Boarders will sleep and be fed separately to my dogs to prevent any issues and can be walked separately if required. I work predominantly from home Tues-Friday and typically do a walk in the morning before breakfast, a walk at lunchtime if the weather is not excessively hot (rain doesn’t bother us!) and a walk in the evening before dinner. Dogs are given access to the garden during the day when I am home to supervise. On Mondays dogs are left between 8:30 and 3pm but are walked before I leave and upon my return. Boarders will be kept apart from my own dogs when unsupervised. I have a fenced garden that has proved secure for both of my dogs. Both my dogs are friendly, dog-social and are up to date on their flea, tick, worming and vaccinations. I have two young children who are used to interacting with dogs however children and dogs are never left alone unsupervised or allowed to play without adult assistance. Boarding dogs are always fed and sleep separately to my own dogs.
