“I couldn't have asked for a better dog sitter for Otis! From the moment we met, it was clear that Otis was going to be in caring and capable hands. Over the week, he was treated like part of the family and had an absolute ball. I loved receiving updates and seeing all the walks and exciting outings he enjoyed - I think doggy ice-cream is his favourite!! He was happy, stimulated, and well looked after. It's such a comfort knowing your dog is not only being cared for but genuinely having the best time while you're away. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Sophie's services and will definitely be booking again. Thank you for giving Otis such a wonderful week!”

“Pernille had our little Jack Russell for a long weekend and he had the absolute best time! Pernille is so lovely and gave him loads of love and attention. We got lots of pictures, videos and updates which was so reassuring when away from our loved ones! Wouldn’t hesitate a second for our dog to have another stay.”

“We were let down at the very last minute and I was honestly so nervous about finding someone new, but Harriet was an absolute lifesaver. She kept in constant communication, sending regular photos and updates, which put me completely at ease. Our Gary had a lovely time with her and came home happy and relaxed. We’re so grateful for her care and kindness — highly recommend.”

“Raik was so friendly and welcoming! We got lots of lovely updates throughout daisy’s stay. Daisy was very calm and happy. Raik will take care of your dog like his own! Highly recommend and will use again!”

“Santi had a lovely time . Rebecca sent loads of pictures and videos showing santi playing and interacting with her dog and family . I would definately use rebecca again if calenders work out 😊”

“We are always confident leaving Maisie with Susana. Maisie loves her and the family, also their little dog Rocky. Susana is lovely and we highly recommend her! Thanks as always for Maisie’s care and attention x 👏👏”

“Ruby had a fantastic time staying with Deanne, she was absolutely shattered when she got home! The communication and regular photos were brilliant so we knew she was happy and settled. We will definitely be booking again! Thank you so much.”

“Absolutely wonderful couple. Doug very much enjoyed his stay and play. It was such a lovely touch to receive so many pictures and updates from Charlotte and Chris.”

“Jade looked after my dog for the first time last night. Our dog has separation anxiety and needs a sitter who can give him lots of attention, so he doesn't feel alone. Jade looked after him wonderfully, updating me frequently with photos. I wouldn't hesitate to book Jade again.”

“Bear had a lovely time staying with Sophie on her farm with her two dogs and the beautiful alpacas! She was responsive and sent lots of photos whilst I was away. It was my first time in a while leaving Bear with someone new, so I was nervous. But Sophie was great at calming my nerves and she took great care of Bear for me. He can be fussy with his eating, but she was happy to make adjustments for Bear as he needed them and was super flexible. I will definitely be asking Sophie to look after Bear again! 🐻 🖤”

“Megan and Craig were fantastic with Charlie. It was the first time he was staying with them and they looked after him very well. Plenty of walks, play and cuddles. We received regular updates. I could see from the pictures that he was very happy. You can tell that Megan is experienced with dogs and loves them. You can trust that she will take very good care of your fur baby. I would highly recommend her and definitely contact her again for future stays. Thank you so much Megan and Craig for taking such good care of Charlie 🥰”

“We cannot recommend Emmanuel more highly. This was the first time we left our dog and we chose Emmanuel because his house seemed so calm and friendly. We were nervous and Emmanuel gave us confidence that all would be fine. He kept in touch and we always knew how things were going, and he sent some lovely photos. He coped with all our dog's eccentricities with ease. We collected a really calm, happy dog. Thank you Emmanuel!”

“Olivia and Harry provided such a welcoming environment for my dog who has separation anxiety. He was treated so well and it’s clear they have lots of experience. He loved his overnight stay and was reluctant to come home with me when I picked him up - which is a sure sign he received the best care.”

“Alexia was a great doggy minder for our dog . He seemed really happy to be there and is settling back in at home just fine .she kept us updated on all his antics and I would definitely use her again x”

“Pedro and his family came to the rescue at short notice as we needed our two whippets to be cared for whilst we hosted a party in our home. It made all the difference to know they were safe in a family home (on the sofa) We will definitely use Pedro again”

About: All my life I have had dogs and cats and I would not have it any other way. A home is not a home unless it has pets. They bring so much joy, love and they are all so unique. I currently have a Labrador (Roxy) who is super friendly and 2 cats. We can tailor the walk to your dog's need, long or short, it can either be where there are lots of others dogs if that's what your dog likes or it can be a much quieter walk in the countryside. Your pet’s well-being, safety, and daily routine are my highest priorities, and I’m always happy to follow any specific care instructions you share.I can do short or long house sitting stay. As I have cats I can not offer to have your pet in my house overnight but I can offer short stays in the day. Alongside caring for your pet in your home, I’m also happy to help with additional tasks such as light house cleaning, to make your return as smooth and stress-free as possible. I am fully insured and will shortly be taking on a pet's first aid course.

“It was a pleasure to meet Emily, who came for a meet and greet ahead of the drop-in visits. Emily provided me with just the right amount of feedback whilst I was away, a couple of photos, a comment on my cat's general well-being and her behaviour on arrival, and confirmation on various matters which we had discussed beforehand eg when to give medication for arthritis, arrangements regarding the key. I would definitely book Emily again.”
“Once again Victoria helped us out feeding Bella our cat whilst we were away. Always reliable, and although Bella is a nervous cat, she seems to be very relaxed with Victoria... thank you!”

About: I’ve had cats at home since I was a young child, ranging from young kittens to gentle senior furry friends, I can care for playful energetic cats and give quieter ones their own space

About: I've been around cats my whole life, having grown up with one since I was three years old. This has given me a strong understanding of their individual personalities, routines, and needs. In addition to caring for my own cat, I've looked after two cats for a work colleague while she was away on holiday. I stayed in her home for several nights, making sure they were fed, comfortable, and given plenty of attention while keeping to their usual routine. I genuinely love being around cats and am always the first to say hello and give my friends' cats a fuss when I visit. I enjoy getting to know each cat's unique personality, whether they're affectionate, or prefer a bit more space.

“Amber was an absolutely wonderful cat sitter. She was very communicative and accommodating throughout. Our cat was quite stressed in our new house, and even though we only booked 30-minute visits, she stayed much longer to make sure he was calm and settled. She also helped with a few things we meant to take care of before leaving but forgot, which was a huge help. She kept everything tidy and cleaned up after the cat, so the house was in great shape when we came home. Truly went above and beyond. A fantastic sitter we’d happily recommend.”

“Khaley was amazing. She followed all instructions and requests. Gave us reports every time she came to feed our 2 furbabies. Being our first time in leaving them we were nervous but Khaley came to the house before and we discussed everything that was required and she did not disappoint. We knew once we had met her that she would look after them like they were her own cats. We would highly recommend her 100%.”

“Very happy leaving Rafa in Katie’s care when I go away. She keeps me updated and sends lots of photos. I know that Rafa is happy and loves the attention that he gets. Would definitely recommend Katie”

“Leanne was fab, she came for her first drop-in for my two dogs, she was very flexible and reliable which was incredibly helpful as it’s around Christmas and everyone is so busy normally! Can’t wait till have her over to stay with the dogs while we’re away soon 🙂”

“Janie dropped in & fed our cat Bella over 4-5 days whist we were away, and she was fantastic! She messaged us each time she came with a report on how Bella was doing, & sent us lots of pictures too. Bella is quite a nervous cat, but Janie was able to get her to relax with her really quickly, and when we came home Bella seemed totally at ease & unconcerned that we’d been away. Absolutely brilliant, we’d definitely ask Janie to look after Bella again, and our dog Otis, if we aren’t taking him with us next time!”

I can be available every week day and weekend with plenty of notice. I will on occasion be doing the walks with my dog providing yours is happy with that. She is super friendly. My pets get the best care. They get fed as soon as I get up and that is before I make myself a cuppa. My dog gets at least 2 hours walk everyday and loves playing with her ball. As we have cats I can not offer overnight stay at my house but I can accomodate short stays in the day.
About: I’ve had dogs all my life, and I just adore animals in general. My dog, Bella, was a very nervous rescue and is now doing absolutely brilliantly, so I’ve learnt a lot about helping anxious dogs in the last few years. Bella does not come with me when I do house sits, she has another at home who takes care of her. I’ve got lots of experience walking and handling dogs of all shapes and sizes. I’ve worked with puppies, senior dogs and large breeds and also those who require special attention and need medication. I’m used to working with groups of dogs and have no problem with dogs who are anxious, I just require more meet and greets to get your pup familiar. I worked at Pets at Home for a few years and I've handled everything from small furries to reptiles. I’ve recently relocated from up north so my calendar is pretty empty at the moment. I’m looking to make lots of new furry friends and get familiar with the Wiltshire dog/cat (all animals alike) community 😊 I have a large garden and open plan kitchen and living room so your furr baby will always be In site. Also I share my home with my loveable and super friendly Cockerpoo Bella! Prior to boarding I would request our dogs have a meet and greet to see if it's a good match. Bella is super sweet and never aggressive, it's just for my own peace of mind as I want my pup to feel comfortable. I also have my own insurance and DBS certificate.
About: Dogs have been part of my life since I was little. Francisco (our PUG) joined the family and has been with us for 11 years. My husband grew up in a family of dog handlers for breed championships and had experience with Fila Brasileiros throughout his youth. Our daughter's passion for animals came through contact with Francisco, who is very caring and loving with all of them. I am the primary caretaker, with years of experience with dogs, but we live with a family, and together we have a special affection for little dogs. I'm available for boarding or short-term care. I work from home, currently on maternity leave, but my job is home-based, so I have the day and nigth available and flexibility to care for your furry baby. My away hours are short trips to the grocery store, taking my daughter to school, and things like that. I have a good-sized fenced yard with grass and paving. Our dog, Francisco, is extremely adorable and friendly, and a wonderful companion. Possibility of separating your dog from my dog's company if you prefer.
“Lovely sitter...would reccomend to everyone looking. Alex created a welcoming, settled environment for Doug...je clearly had a great time! We will definitely be seeking her care again!”

“Cara was amazing with my dog. Roxy absolutely loved and trusted her with all I heard. Booked at the last minute with her and she took care of Roxy well. Will love to bring Roxy to her again next time.”

“Sophie was an absolute pleasure to deal with! Really quick communication, answered all our questions and put my wife & I at ease, as it was our first time using Rover! Sophie has an amazing set up for dogs to run & play outdoors, whilst having the security of the paddocks being dog proof! Tsavo was very happy when we picked him up & I would highly recommend Sophie to other Rover users”

About: Taken care of a lab and a spaniel so can handle an older more relaxed dog, as well as a smaller more energetic one and know how to keep up I currently work from home so can provide company throughout the day as well as walks before and after work as well as lunch breaks Fenced yard, locked house and the back gate is also locked. Own 1 cat so will need to be a cat friendly dog, but lots of pet experience
“What a lovely couple. Bailey enjoys going to visit with them, he's off into their house without so much as a goodbye! Which is wonderful to see as it means that he is happy there.”

“Megan and Craig are absolutely lovely. We had a meet and greet with them first, with our puppy. They’re really enthusiastic, relaxed and clearly love dogs, even boisterous puppies like ours! So we felt confident in them immediately. This was our puppy, Crumpet’s, first time of being left for the day without one of us, and Megan was really understanding and supported/looked after Crumpet really well and Crumpet seemed very happy at Megan’s house. We’ll definitely be booking Megan and Craig again.”

“Rhea and her mum offered to take care of Roxy at the last moment and took care of her very well. Roxy usually is uneasy after she comes home from another place but this time she was very normal. I’m happy she felt comfortable in Rhea’s home. I would highly recommend their service ☺️”

“It is our first time having someone outside of family look after Bone-Ivar, so it was really reassuring to get lots of updates throughout the day to see how he was getting on, it was clear to see he had lots of attention and was well cared for. Communication was excellent and Charlotte and Chris were really flexible. Boney is already looking forward to his next time.”

“Olivia stepped up at short notice and took lovely care of our little excitable dog. She had a great time playing with her dogs and a delightful day all round. Will definitely book again!”

“Deanne was very friendly and well prepared for Nevis first visit. He was happy to see her and rushed into the house. He had a lovely walk with her and Poppy. Completely happy for Nevis to stay again with Deanne.”

“Lidiya was absolutely brilliant! I made a last-minute enquiry, and she handled everything so well. She took great care of my puppy and kept me updated regularly, which gave me real peace of mind. Highly recommend! Thank you Lidiya.”

“She and her family are very friendly for us. My dog usually doesn't like to interact with other dogs, but she was showing interest in this family's dog. It's a sign that she's very relaxed. I would like to ask them to day care again!”

“Martine was amazing with my dog Bloom! You could tell straight away that Bloom was happy to be with her. Martine is super natural with dogs and made me feel really comfortable leaving her with her. It was also really nice seeing how great she was with her own Labrador, both dogs looked so happy and got on really well. Honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Would 100% book with Martine again!”

About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life. My love for them started with my childhood cat, Doodles. Every evening she'd curl up on my chest, and this has always been one of my favourite childhood memories. When I was around 10, we welcomed our family dog Bramble into our lives. Later, she developed a health condition that meant she needed daily medication and extra care. Helping to give her medication, changing her bedding every morning and evening, and making sure she was comfortable taught me how important patience, and compassion are when caring for pets with additional needs. Since then, I've been lucky enough to care for pets belonging to family, friends, and colleagues. This has included overnight house sits with cats, looking after my uncle's Westie, Freddie, in his own home, and welcoming my boyfriend's family dog into my home while they were away. My love for animals extends beyond cats and dogs. While travelling around South East Asia, I volunteered and donated at an animal shelter in Koh Samui, made a point of visiting only ethical elephant sanctuaries in Chiang Mai where the elephants aren't ridden or touched, and even met the incredible landmine detection rats in Cambodia. Those experiences strengthened my passion for animal welfare and my respect for every animal, big or small. My schedule is changing soon, which means I'll have even more time to spend caring for pets! In just a couple of weeks, I'll be working part-time, giving me plenty of flexibility during the week. I'll be available on multiple weekdays for daytime walks, drop-in visits, and quality time with your pets. I'm also available for boarding throughout the week. Thursdays are my one regular day working away from home, so if your pet is staying with me on a Thursday, I'll be out during the day but back by the late afternoon or evening (depending on my shift). Outside of that, I'll have lots of time at home to keep your pet company, making sure they get plenty of attention. I'm always happy to discuss your pet's routine and see how I can make my schedule work for you and pet. I know that inviting someone into your home requires a lot of trust, and I take that responsibility seriously. Because of my job, I regularly travel and stay in Airbnbs during the week, so I'm very used to treating other people's homes with care and respect. I always follow check-out instructions carefully, and I'd bring that same attention to detail to your home—whether that's sticking to your pet's routine, locking up securely, or following any house rules you've left for me. Growing up with both a cat and a dog who weren't always the best of friends also means I'm very familiar with using pet gates, managing different areas of the house, and being mindful not to leave anything lying around that pets could get into. I'll always leave your home clean and tidy, exactly as I'd hope someone would leave mine. And because I know how hard it can be to be away from your pets, I'm more than happy to send regular photo and video updates, so you can relax knowing they're happy and safe.

About: Hi! I’m a reliable and caring stay-at-home mum offering dog sitting and pet care in a calm, loving home 🐾 I live in a spacious flat with plenty of room for your pet to relax, and I’m just a five-minute walk from a large park, perfect for regular walks, playtime, and fresh air. Being at home full-time means I can give pets lots of attention and supervision, and I’m also happy to accommodate last-minute bookings when needed. I have a gentle, calm two-year-old who is used to being around animals and very respectful of them. Because of this, I’m best suited to pets who are comfortable around small children. I don’t currently have any pets of my own, so I can happily care for animals who prefer to be the only pet in the home. I also have access to a car, so I’m able to help with pick-ups, drop-offs, and travel with pets if required. Your pet’s comfort, safety, and routine are always my top priority, and I’m more than happy to follow any specific care instructions you provide. I’d love to help look after your furry friend and give them a relaxed, home-from-home experience 💛 I am very flexible as I am mostly at home during the week. I can be booked at any time in advance aside from 5-9am tues/wed/thurs. I have a two bedroom flat very close to Hungerford common which is great for walks. I have no other pets and can travel by car. I have a two year old toddler, she is quiet around animals however finds them quite funny to watch so I have no worries with her around animals
About: I have been a dog owner since my early childhood. I have experience looking after puppies as well as senior dogs. I currently have a very energetic dog that requires lots of walks. She is very friendly and misses a lot her companion, our dachshund that passed away 3 years ago. I am in full time employment, however I work from home twice a week, Mondays and Fridays. I am also available for dog walks and pet sitting most weekends. I can house and pet sit or do drop in visits as and when needed provided it is within a driving distance and detailed instructions are provided with regards to pet care if your pet has custom requirements.

About: I’ve been looking after dogs since I was 14 years old, caring for friends’, family’s and neighbours’ dogs on a regular basis. My experience includes daily walks, feeding, bathing, playtime, and providing lots of attention and companionship. At the beginning of 2025, I travelled to Australia where I looked after multiple dogs through house sits, giving me experience caring for dogs in different environments and routines. I’m a very outdoorsy person, so dogs in my care will enjoy varied walks through parks, trails and green spaces rather than the same route every day. I’m happy to adapt to each dog’s needs, whether that’s long energetic walks for active dogs or slower and gentler walks for older or less mobile dogs. My priority is always making sure each dog feels safe, comfortable and well cared for. I’m currently working as a freelance photographer, which gives me a very flexible schedule. Pet care fits easily into my daily routine, and I’m often out walking anyway, so I’m looking for some furry friends to join me on my walks in my spare time. This flexibility means I can accommodate different times and adapt to each dog’s routine. Whether that’s regular daily walks or occasional care. With my background in photography, owners can expect regular photo and message updates so you can see how your pet is getting on and feel confident they’re happy and well cared for while you’re away. I always prioritise a pet’s safety, comfort and routine whether I’m caring for them in my own home or in the owner’s home. I follow all instructions carefully, including feeding schedules, walking preferences and any specific needs or behaviours. I make sure dogs are walked safely, kept on leads where required, and given plenty of attention and reassurance.
About: I have had a dog since childhood, which has given me over 30 years of hands, on experience caring for pets. Over the years, I have also helped friends, family, and neighbors with their dogs, taking care of walks, feeding, and giving them the attention they need. I am patient and caring with both energetic puppies and older dogs who may need extra support. I believe every pet has a unique personality, and I always make sure to respect their individual needs and routines. As a stay-at-home mom and therapist, I work mainly from home with occasional online sessions. This gives me plenty of time and flexibility to care for your dog throughout the day. I can provide walks, playtime, and lots of attention to make sure your pup feels happy and safe. I live with my husband and two kids (ages 11 and 17), and we are all animal lovers. We have a secure fenced yard both in the front and back of the house, giving dogs plenty of safe space to play and explore. I also have a pug friendly at home who love company, and I can crate your dog if needed for safety or comfort.

“Ruby had a fantastic time staying with Deanne, she was absolutely shattered when she got home! The communication and regular photos were brilliant so we knew she was happy and settled. We will definitely be booking again! Thank you so much.”

“Olivia and Harry provided such a welcoming environment for my dog who has separation anxiety. He was treated so well and it’s clear they have lots of experience. He loved his overnight stay and was reluctant to come home with me when I picked him up - which is a sure sign he received the best care.”

“Pedro and his family came to the rescue at short notice as we needed our two whippets to be cared for whilst we hosted a party in our home. It made all the difference to know they were safe in a family home (on the sofa) We will definitely use Pedro again”

“It was our first time using the Rover app and we couldn’t have been luckier with picking Carly to look after our puppy! She was wonderful from start to finish! Our dog has just returned from his holiday with Carly and cried at the door for her when she left! Thank you for making the process of leaving him overnight for the first time so easy and being so thoughtful and kind with all your communication! We will 100 per cent be using you again!”

“Hugo our Maltipoo had a lovely overnight stay with Alline. He looked settled, like a home from home. Alline sent photos and videos which were lovely and reassuring. Thanks Alline for taking care of our Hugo 😘”

“Cara was a lifesaver as we struggled to find someone to watch our two dogs. She was friendly, affectionate and patient with our "babies." Very responsive to my check-ins and provided pictures, which eased my mind during our weekend away. I would ask Cara to watch our dogs anytime we need to go on vacation and would recommend her to friends, family and fellow Rover customers.”
“My dog Kota had a great time being cared for my Lidiya. Kota settled very well and got on with her dog Harry. I received regular updates on how my dog was doing with photos which was very reassuring. My dog was very happy during his stay and very well cared for. Will be using Lidiya in the future. Thank you .”

“Whiskey had the time of his life with Joanna, her partner and of course Bally! Communication with Joanna was excellent throughout the process, and she asked for all of the necessary information about Whiskey (routine, food, commands etc) prior to boarding. Joanna sent updates, videos and pictures throughout his stay, which was lovely and put our minds at ease. Whiskey loves everyone but I have never seen him build a bond as quickly as he did with Bally. Both dogs were bereft when we had to leave but I have already rebooked for next month and will definitely use Joanna’s services going forward. In summary, a lovely couple with a lovely dog made sure my lovely dog had a lovely weekend. Thank you Joanna!!”

“Toni was great with our Labrador puppy Indie! Looked after her Saturday through to Sunday and Indie came back relaxed and we’ll exercised, we will definitely use Toni again for overnight boarding.”
