“Esther and her family were wonderful and couldn’t have been more accommodating. We visited Cornwall for a wedding and needed last minute care for our Cockapoo, Penny. It was our first time using Rover and Esther immediately put our minds at ease, sharing updates and pictures throughout the day. We were able to enjoy our evening knowing how cared for Penny was by such a kind and loving family. We would recommend Esther to everyone!”

“Tracie and Sarah are incredible. They were amazing with my puppy Dotty. There were patiant with her and really looked after her as if she were their own. I had regular updates through messages and photos. And was a home away from home for Dotty. I will be using Tracie and Sarah again when I need to. Thank you guys sooo much”

“Winnie absolutely loves staying with Conny. She’s so well looked after, and we get regular photo and video updates of her having such a great time. Would highly recommend Conny to anyone. Thanks again”

“Marietta took great care of Nova and send us some cute pictures during the day. We met before, so that all was clear for the day itself. Would recommend! Monty was also very cute 🐾”

“This was our dog’s first overnight stay so we were obviously nervous, but she settled well for Alison. We had some lovely photos & messages sent to reassure us throughout the day & evening. Alison was amazing with her, we will definitely be booking again and would highly recommend Alison. Thank you.”

“Abi is an excellent dog sitter. Both of our dogs adore her! They were so excited when she arrived to look after them for the weekend, it was wonderful to see. I had no concerns leaving them in her care, and revived regular pictures and updates; they had a fabulous time and I'm sure Abi will become a regular in their lives whenever we are away.”

“for zulu first time staying overnight and hearing that she bonded with all the family is amazing. Zulu truly loves coming to yours and spending time with all the family especially the spending time with the kids and making you all smile alot. She truly is spoilt when she there which is so lovely to see especially when i come and pick her up as this is what she gets a home. Thank you so much for the service and the update with photos and videos of zulu first time trying the car and the beach. You guys are truly outstanding and love the fact that you guys get to enjoy spending time with Zulu and enjoy her just like i do ❤️”
“Shaun was so patient with Luna. She’s an anxious dog, super attached to her family, so it was a new experience for her. It took her a while to warm up, but she seemed very happy and content once she’d settled in. Shaun was very professional and kept me updated through regular messages and photos. It was good to see her having fun while I was away. Thanks Shaun for taking the time to settle her in and make her feel at home.”

“I'm an OTT dog mum and Tracey made me feel totally at ease sending pictures and videos of how Bella was doing so I was able to enjoy time away without a worry, I would very highly recommend her and their lovely family which includes a very friendly older dog and a cat which Bella was desperate to make friends with (sorry lol) overall I would give six stars if I could, thank you!!”

“This is the 3rd time Sophie has looked after our fur baby and I could honestly never go elsewhere now. The love she gives our girl when she’s in her care is impeccable, she really does love her like her own. I really cannot recommend Sophie enough for everything she does and the care she provides”

“Hannah & Jordan took such wonderful care of Woody, he has had a brilliant time with multiple walks per day in different locations, swims, brushes and cozy sofa time and cuddles. We felt really bad that we couldn't bring Woody away with us and were nervous leaving him but Hannah & Jordan sent us lots of photos and messages each day. They were also flexible when we were delayed by an hour. It feels as though Woody has had a holiday and has been so well cared for! We would definitely recommend Hannah & Jordan.”

“Victoria looked after our dog Otto this weekend. He has stayed with her once before and always has the best time! It's so nice for us to see Otto excited to see Victoria again and for us to be able to relax knowing that he is being well looked after.”

“Thea came for a meet and greet and collected the keys at this visit. She then sent some great photos of Geronimo the Gerbil while I was away which was reassuring. I had to return from my trip early due to health issues, but all was well on my return to the house and keys were returned the same week. I would definitely check Thea's availability again if I needed someone to check in while I'm away.”

I build my schedule with plenty of time and flexibility to give every animal my full attention and care. No two days are the same, which is what I enjoy most. From active dogs needing long countryside walks, to older pets who prefer a slower pace and some quiet companionship, I make sure each pet gets the right level of care, stimulation, and love. “Brilliant service, genuinely cared and looked after our dogs whilst we were at a wedding and reduced our stress on the day - highly recommend Lucy , and her genuine love of animals- sending us lovely pictures and putting a smile on my face 🙏🏻”

“I would give Emily 10 stars if I could! We had to leave our two cats for two weeks and Emily was absolutely the perfect choice! We have a very extroverted cat and one who panics and had stress induced paralysis at meeting strangers from abuse in her early life and from day one Emily was somehow able to bond with both of our girls. She took pictures, videos and gave detailed accounts of all of her visits, she put a smile on our faces every time we heard from her! Our anxious cat seemed to absolutely love Emily, she let her give her a stroke and came out multiple times when Emily got there, our extroverted cat was the exact same and loved her visits! We asked Emily if she could do an extra day after we booked which was incredibly last minute and marked unavailable on her schedule, and despite leaving for Paris the same day, Emily still came and visited our girls to make sure they were okay! Em carried out everything we asked of her and went above and beyond on many occasions, even using some of her own rubbish bags for emptying the litter as we had run out of them ourselves. We will 1000% be asking Emily for her services again if we have to leave for a while! We were so worried about leaving the girls as we had never been away longer than two days before but as soon as Emily followed up with us after her visit we knew we had made the right choice and we had absolutely zero stress during our time away. If anybody is in the same position as us and you’re worried about choosing the right person to take care of your fur babies, Emily should absolutely be your first choice! A massive Thankyou again to you Emily! You are an absolute star 💗⭐”

“Richard was great. It was our first time leaving our puppy for a few hours as we had an unavoidable clash. He sent me lots of photos of her and let me know she was fine and happy. Very easy and straightforward communication.”

“I highly recommend George. He took care of our dog in a very reliable and careful way. Our dog got along very well with his two spaniels right away. He spent a lot of time outdoors with our dog. His dedication was exemplary. Communication with him was quick and smooth.”

“I could not recommend Gyvania more enthusiastically, she has been just amazing. Our cats have been clearly relaxed, happy, not in the least bothered about being away, and not at all 'in a mood' once we got back. Gyvania took great care of the coming and going from the property and was reliable, easily reachable, ready to answer any questions, supplied videos and understood and carried out instruction with the utmost care. We will definitely be hiring her again!”

“If I could give more stars I would!!! Fine has been incredible. Our little family hasn’t been away abroad before and with a 1&2 year old in the group I had a lot to organise. Gina, from the moment we met, made us feel relaxed and in safe hands. Our small holding included goats, chickens, rabbits and cats and they all adored her! She went above and beyond, from brushing to talking to them to reassure when they timid ones showed signs of feeling anxious. We are so grateful! And will definitely be using Gina again. She’s opened a door for us to be able to go on more family adventures Thank you Gina 🙏🏻 xx”

“Abi was really great. She kindly popped over to meet Fremmy and Mowgli before her first lunch visit and I could tell straight away that she was a kind and professional person with a real love of animals.”

About: I've always been a cat lover and had cats on my own. Currently I have Tiny, pictured in my profile pic who I brought back from Vietnam! I've pet sat for a number of people in Cornwall who so far have also had chickens, pygmy goats, fish, dogs and ducks. I've also been a live in dog walker in Switzerland with work away. So far this has been though word of mouth and now I'm looking to do it even more as I love it! A bit more about me: In my usual day to day I am working on my DIY tiny home project near Wadebridge and working as a wildlife/ permaculture gardening. If you need me to step in so you can go exploring then I'd love to help!
About: I moved to Cornwall for university and soon found the passion for surfing. I now live in Cornwall and have been looking after dogs for several years now. Moving to Cornwall on my own has made me very independent, but also very flexible. Which means pet care fits easily into my day to day routine. I have a few small jobs that I can schedule around the dog sitting, so I'm able to give pets plenty of time and attention. I thrive on having a routine and living an active, healthy lifestyle. When looking after pets. I understand how important routine is, including regular walks, playtime, and plenty of attention, especially as different breeds have different needs. With my active lifestyle, i genuinely enjoy walks, runs, and spending time outdoors, so keeping dogs happy and exercised comes naturally to me. When I'm caring for pets in their own home, I'm always respectful, tidy and minimal, making sure everything is kept just as the owners expect.
About: I’ve had dogs of all sizes my whole life, growing up I’ve always been keen to walk, feed, wash and care for them. I have most of my experience with boxers, French and English bulldog puppies from birth. I currently study at uni, so have lots of free time for short and longer walks, especially during holidays and weekends. I’m more than happy for any special arrangements you may need or a negotiable price to work for us both. I’m sure your dog will become comfortable and happy in my hands so you can feel safe and content with their care :) P.s much appreciated if I am able to bring my partner for longer house sits (of course we can meet prior) I’m currently studying geography at uni but have lots of availability around my schedule to walk or provide pet care, plus, my car for longer adventures! Although i am at uni and cannot care for your pet in my home, I can walk and pet sit in your own home in however ways you require

About: I grew up with four cats in the house, so I’ve had hands-on experience caring for cats from a young age. I love getting to know each cat’s unique personality and understanding their behaviours, from when they want attention to when they prefer their own space. I’m very attentive to their needs and routines, including feeding, litter care, playtime, and creating a calm, comfortable environment. I understand that cats can be sensitive to change, so I always take a gentle and patient approach to help them feel safe and relaxed while you’re away.
About: My family has always owned dogs so I have a lifetime of personal experience. I volunteered and multiple animal sanctuaries and zoos growing up and I worked for pets at home for more than three years where i specialized in dog care. I am available most days and weekends for any bookings and will normally be happy to take bookings on short notice. The safety of the pets come first and for that reason I would make sure to supervise them and if in the garden make sure its enclosed and has no open gates. I work part time and have a very flexible daily schedule. The best thing to do is contact me with the dates and times you require and I will do my best to accommodate. The safety of your pets is my top priority, on our walks I like to keep them on the lead untill in certain they will listen to commands from me.

“Our lovely needy little dog Gus has been very well looked after with real care and attention. I can't recommend Esther and her family enough! Our dog doesn't like staying at the kennels so we're very grateful to have Esther look after Gus, especially in a heatwave when it's hard to take a dog out.”

“Shaun and his family were so welcoming and looked after Melvin for the day whilst we were on holiday. Shaun was really informative and also asked us lots of questions before the day making sure Melvin was going to be well looked after. During the stay we had regular updates and photos. Melvin was very relaxed and happy at pick up and we were delighted with Shaun’s care! We would HIGHLY recommend and will certainly be booking Melvin in again when we are next back. Huge thanks!”

“We traveled to visit our family in Spain. It was the first time in eight years that we left Vega with other people. Richard and Eva are amazing people and they sent me a lot of pictures of Vega every day. Thank you for everything.”

“An absolute 5-star experience! Having recently moved to the Bodmin area, it was incredibly daunting to look for a new sitter for our beloved and pampered dog, Barley. However, meeting Terry and Susan (Megan's parents) beforehand completely put our minds at ease as they would be looking after him on the day. Barley spent the day with them yesterday whilst we attended our daughter's graduation in Exeter, and we could not have asked for better care. They looked after him brilliantly, treated him like one of the family, and sent us lovely picture updates which we really appreciated. Terry and Susan made us feel so comfortable and reassured from start to finish. Barley loved his cuddles with Terry (The Dog Whisperer). We are incredibly grateful to have found such caring, trustworthy sitters locally and will definitely be booking with them again!”

“I had my Vizsla pup stay with Conny for a day, and he had an amazing time! They went on a few walks and even visited the beach. Conny sent me plenty of pictures throughout the day. I highly recommend her if you’re looking for someone who genuinely cares about dogs and has experience working with them.”

“Kristina was brilliant - kindly looking after Sheila while she was on heat (and not taking any other bookings as a result). Kristina sent through photos of Sheila enjoying her day walking with some other dogs and having some well earned rest at Kristina’s house. I felt very comfortable leaving Sheila with Kristina - she is very knowledgable and kind.”

“Louise was so helpful, looking after Chia very last minute and giving her a lovely day. Chia immediately felt comfortable with Louise and Louise made sure to ensure that Chia was happy with her. Her partner is also a vet and was around so between them, Chia received a lot of love. I was very grateful to leave Chia with Louise and know that Chia would love to go back one day!”

“Abigail has been amazing with our 2 dogs. Ella is people reactive in the home and Abigail spent time getting to know her and making her feel safe. They are now the best of friends and I feel so relaxed leaving them both with Abigail, knowing they are happy and well cared for. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Abigail to anyone.”

“We went camping in Cornwall and needed Bailey to be with someone for a day whilst we explored some of the sights which didn’t allow dogs. Lerryn was the perfect choice. She looked after Bailey so well, giving him cool walks by a waterfall and friendly experience in a cafe. He had the best time whilst we had our best time. Thank you!”

“Five starts are just not enough! Alison provided a perfect day for Jasper. When we dropped him off for his first day care stay he was immediately relaxed and happy for us to leave him. Alison sent us photos during the day and it was clear to see Jasper was having a great time, Thank you so much Alison for your reassurance that all was well as it meant we could relax and enjoy our day out too! We are already planning our next trip away knowing Jasper is in safe hands.”

“Very happy overall, after not knowing this was such a thing and how easy it was to book someone we are glad we found Tammy, she was very helpful and helped look after our boy whilst we went and visited St Ives and paradise park for the day as it’s a hot day we definitely didn’t want to leave him on he’s own! It was a very last minute booking after finding it on Google but I highly recommend for your doggy! Will definitely be using her again when I come this way! Once again lovely thank you so much! Much appreciated.”

“Frank had the best time with Leo. It has been a while since Frank had been with someone he wasn’t familiar with. He wasn’t happy when I left. Leo quickly sent me reassuring pictures. Little updates flowed throughout the day as they went of in walks and played at Leo’s home. Frank looked reluctant to leave. Would leave my little Prince with Leo any day. Thank you!”

“We needed someone to look after our dog Mabel while we took the kids to the theme park. Georgia was very quick to reply to any questions we had before taking Mabel to her. She also kept us up to date how Mabel was doing throughout the day and sent pictures. Mabel had a great time with Georgia, she made sure to put Mabel's needs first and took her for a long walk on the beach which Mabel would of loved. Thank you so much for taking care of Mabel we will definitely be back in touch on our next trip to Cornwall.”

“Katie was absolutely brilliant with our Luna! She was super flexible and responsive to messages and Luna had a really lovely time - enabling us to enjoy some of the sights of Cornwall that dogs can’t go to! Thankyou so much”

“Sam is a brilliant dog sitter, Tala took to him straightaway when we met up and when I dropped her off for her daycare today, she immediately remembered where she was and couldn't wait to get it the house :-) She had a lovely day with Sam, plenty of time outside and lots of attention. She came back to me happy and relaxed, thank you Sam!”

About: I have taken care dogs since I was 14, training guide dogs, including the family dog and voluntary work which led to paid work for walking neighbours dogs and at a dog kennel walking dogs and cleaning kennels. I have been dogsitting on and off for 16 years and rescued 3 dogs. I have done more regular sits since a friend from church asked me to dog sit, then I used Trustedhousitters as a sitter for 3 years and have done 12 different successful sits of which a few have been asked back, so I also know how to take care of people’s homes and multiple pets in the home. Your dogs will be happy with me and treated like family, they will have play time and rest time and I always stick to the rules that you have set for them and their meal times including what they eat. I would never feed your dog human food or over treat them or punish them. If I am sitting I would take them out for a walk in the local areas up to 3 times a day but they will have plenty of toilet breaks. If I am only walking your dog, I will keep them on the lead and go for as much time as they need. Your dog will be in safe hands with me. I am an at home full-time student, I start my last year in October and finish in May 2027. I will have time to go for dog walks anytime as I can pick my days and times to study. I cannot bring pets into my home currently as my 2 cats are the proud owners but I can meet you for a pick up or take care of a dog at your home

About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life. I’d walk neighbours dogs growing up which gave me a strong understanding of their different personalities, needs and behaviours from an early age. In addition I’ve spend 5 years caring for exotic animals which has taught me patience, attention to detail and confidence handling a variety of temperaments. I am a proud Cavapoo owner which has deepened my understanding of daily routines, training consistency, exercise needs and the importance of trust and companionship. As a dog walker, I bring reliability, compassion and genuine enthusiasm to every walk. Whether your pup loves energetic adventures or prefers a steady, relaxed stroll, I tailor each walk to suit their individual needs. Your dog’s safety, happiness, and wellbeing are always my top priority, and I’ll care for them as if they were my own. I work full time, but I make dog care a priority in my daily routine. I’m available mornings and evenings during the week for walks, feeding, playtime and lots of love and attention. I also have the flexibility to WFH throughout the week when needed, which can absolutely be discussed prior to booking. On weekends I’m fully flexible and happy to dedicate extra time for longer walks, outings, cuddles or special care routines. Your dog’s comfort, happiness and consistency are always my top priority and I’m committed to providing a safe loving environment. I’m lucky to have a good sized garden that is fully gated and securely fenced, providing a safe space for dog’s to enjoy fresh air and outdoor time. It’s perfect for supervised play, short exercise sessions, or simply relaxing in the sunshine. Safety is always my priority so dogs are never left unattended outside and I make sure the space stays clean and secure at all times.
About: My husband and I have housesitted on another platform for 2+ years in the UK, US, Germany and Japan. Meeting and caring for the animals is always our favourite part about the trip and would love to continue. I’m currently self-employed and working remotely on my masters degree. I am available to dedicate as much time as needed to your beloved pet(s) to make them feel at ease and comfortable. I do not offer pet care in my own home as I believe this creates a barrier between them and me. I want to feel like they trust me. I follow routines set by owners and try to make their routine as normal as possible. If they are happy with you they are happy with me.

“Richard came across as kind and patient, which is just what Luna needs (being a rescue). Luna gets a walkies visit from Rich twice a week. Updates of Luna during the walk are frequent, where she's looking happy exploring the neighbourhood and catching up on dog gossip. Thanks Rich for the prompt and reliable service!”

“Kyal is awesome. He took the time to meet Albie (and me) before their walks together, showed up promptly (and let me know he’d arrived), sent pics of a very happy pooch, and I came home to a super content setter each day. What more could I ask for?! Thanks so much Kyal. Albie looks forward to seeing you again soon.”

He is well behaved, well socialised and a happy dog :) I run my own business so have good flexibility during the week and at weekends. I won't be out for more than 3 to 4 hours and I can walk, feed and socialise them inbetween. I will be there to look over them most of the day..I may leave for 3 to 4 hours but will make sure they've been walked and fed before so.

“This is our second experience of working with Sophie and honestly can’t fault her. Her communication is great. She sends lots of pics and the dogs look very happy in her company! Thanks Sophie”

About: Hi, I'm Bella. I have always loved dogs especially sight hounds and previously owned a whippet called Poppy. I enjoy nothing better than taking a dog for a long walk on the beach or through the woods, seeing them enjoying themselves and being sleepy and relaxed after a good run. I have previously looked after greyhounds, sausage dogs, Italian Greyhounds, Whippets, an Irish Wolfhound cross, Frenchie, Labrador Siberian Husky’s, Cockapoos and Cavapoos and understand all dogs and breeds have different needs & requirements to feel happy, safe, secure and loved. I love getting to know their individual personalities and understand that pets are like members of the family and treat them as I would my own dog with love, care and affection when in my care. I am able to keep pets company all day ensuring they get plenty of walks, toilet breaks and are well fed. If dogs are nervous or uncomfortable around other dogs I ensure that they are cared for one individual dog at a time. I ensure dogs are on leads unless I have guidance from their owner that they have good recall and are happy for them to be take off lead only in safe places. I can offer in home care in peoples homes or my own which has a large garden.
“Lara is a very friendly walker who my dog really liked from the start. We chatted about Daphne’s needs and she listened and took in board what I said. She’s clear about what she can offer in terms of availability which I find so helpful.”
