About: I had a pet black Labrador for nearly 12 years from 10 weeks old and trained him with card and patience. He saddened passed away recently and I went through everything that is needed to look after a senior dog. I have also looked after my relative’s pugs and walked my friend’s golden Labrador on a regular basis. The experience I gained from having our beautiful Labrador and looking after let’s fit friends and family have been invaluable. Although I’m not ready to have another dog yet, I’m ready to care for other dogs now through Rovers. I am free almost every evening and Saturday and Sunday, so I am be able to give pets dedicated time during their weekend stay and evening walks. About: I am not always able to offer boarding at my own home but am still available to pet/house sit and am also available for dog-walking and home visits :) I have cared for many dogs with Rover and owned my own dog for over 12 years (who I trained and walked), have dog sat family and colleagues dogs and also for guests that come into the (very dog friendly!) pub I worked in at university. I’m the bigger dog person you’ll ever meet and since losing my own a few years ago, have missed all of the joys that come with looking after dogs (or any animal!)!! About: I have always looked after dogs and was desperate for my own. I finally have my lovely schnauzer Winston who loves other dogs. I also grew up with a family dog. He was my whole world. I live a very active lifestyle so any dog I look after is welcome to join Winston and me on my long walks or I can take them for a short walk if that’s better for them. I currently work as a full time firefighter with Cheshire Fire and Rescue. Some days I am home all day and can spend the whole day with the dogs. Other days I am out the house most the day but my partner comes to check on the dog mid day so could only look after a dog that is okay alone for a few hours. I am home every evening so can dogsit any night. My garden is completely fenced and safe. I allow dogs on any of the furniture and have plenty of space. I am a very loving carer and will treat the dog however the owner recommends.

We live a stones throw away from a huge doggie field which has multiple trails, perfect for long daily walks. Weekends are usually spent on walks/hikes so can easily include your dog in some fun activities (if wanted) happy to take dogs in the car if comfortable with this for days out. Doggie seat belts/crates can be used if required. Some of our doggie clients have been on trips to Wales and the Peaks with us! About: I had a pet black Labrador for nearly 12 years from 10 weeks old and trained him with card and patience. He saddened passed away recently and I went through everything that is needed to look after a senior dog. I have also looked after my relative’s pugs and walked my friend’s golden Labrador on a regular basis. The experience I gained from having our beautiful Labrador and looking after let’s fit friends and family have been invaluable. Although I’m not ready to have another dog yet, I’m ready to care for other dogs now through Rovers. I am free almost every evening and Saturday and Sunday, so I am be able to give pets dedicated time during their weekend stay and evening walks. I had a Labrador for nearly 12 years, so my house is very doggy oriented and safe with a sizeable fenced garden, and plenty of play area and separate peaceful rest area indoors. Locally, I am able to walk dogs I look after in a secure field, either with out with their lead, depending on the owner’s preferences.
About: I have always looked after dogs and was desperate for my own. I finally have my lovely schnauzer Winston who loves other dogs. I also grew up with a family dog. He was my whole world. I live a very active lifestyle so any dog I look after is welcome to join Winston and me on my long walks or I can take them for a short walk if that’s better for them. I currently work as a full time firefighter with Cheshire Fire and Rescue. Some days I am home all day and can spend the whole day with the dogs. Other days I am out the house most the day but my partner comes to check on the dog mid day so could only look after a dog that is okay alone for a few hours. I am home every evening so can dogsit any night. My garden is completely fenced and safe. I allow dogs on any of the furniture and have plenty of space. I am a very loving carer and will treat the dog however the owner recommends.
About: I've always had a really great relationship with dogs, and was lucky enough to become an owner 7 years ago, when I rescued Gyp from a charity in China. A year later, I brought him back to the UK and lived in a house with 4 other dogs, who I regularly walked, played and cuddled with. As a rescue, Gyp can be very anxious and needs reassurance, so I'm very good at spotting when he's stressed, and I'm really good at keeping a calm and consistent environment for him. Later, I adopted Smokey, who was a senior dog, and so had very different needs to Gyp. Sadly we lost Smokey last year due to his old age. I always make sure the dogs get plenty of attention and exercise, and they're never left alone for more than 5 hours (usually it's much less than that). The house is very dog friendly - Gyp loves cuddles on the sofa and in bed. And I have a fenced garden for them to enjoy too. My dog is my number one priority, and yours would be treated no differently when they came to stay. I work from home during the day, so spend a lot of time with them then, and pop out in the evenings for work for a few hours - I'm never gone longer than 5 hours. On Saturdays I'm at home all day, and Sunday mornings I go out to teach, but again, no longer than 5 hours I would be solely responsible for your pet whilst they are staying with me. I have a fenced garden and one lovely dog to keep your dog company. I have plenty of towels for drying down if we get wet in the rain, and plenty of space for everyone to feel comfortable I have a good routine with the dogs - food and walk in both the morning and the evening, but we can adapt easily to suit the needs of your pet.
