About: 🐾 Fully Licensed • Fully Insured • DBS Checked • Full-Time Pet Care Professional 🐾 Hi, I’m Ryan, and welcome to Ry’s Pet Care! I’m a fully licensed home boarder, fully insured, and work full-time in pet care, allowing me to dedicate my time and attention to caring for dogs every single day. My goal is simple—to provide a safe, loving, home-from-home environment where your dog will be treated as part of the family. Having grown up with dogs and other pets, caring for animals has always been second nature to me. Nothing makes me happier than building trusting relationships with dogs and giving owners complete peace of mind while they’re away. My beautiful Beagle, Ivy, was my world. Caring for her throughout her life, particularly during her later years when she required regular medication due to seizures and a brain tumour, taught me patience, compassion and the importance of tailoring care to each individual dog. She sadly passed away in October 2024, but caring for other people’s pets has become a wonderful way of honouring her memory. As I don’t currently have any pets of my own, every boarded dog, pet I sit for, or walked dog, receives my full attention without needing to compete for space or affection. Whether your dog loves long walks, exploring new smells, playing in the garden, relaxing on the sofa or simply sticking to their familiar routine, I’ll adapt my care to suit their individual personality and needs. I’m licensed to provide home boarding and have developed comprehensive welfare, safety and infection control procedures to ensure every dog enjoys a safe and comfortable stay. I also hold Pet First Aid certification, maintain detailed care records, and always prioritise each dog’s physical and emotional wellbeing. Communication is incredibly important to me. During your dog’s stay, or my sit, you’ll receive regular updates, together with plenty of photos and videos, so you can see exactly how they’re getting on and enjoy following their little holiday while you’re away. Whether your dog needs medication, has specific routines, dietary requirements or simply enjoys lots of cuddles and company, I’m always happy to accommodate their individual needs wherever possible. I know how much trust it takes to leave your dog with someone else, and I never take that responsibility for granted. My aim is for every dog to leave happy, relaxed and excited to return, while every owner feels confident they’ve found someone who genuinely cares. If you’d like to arrange a Meet & Greet or have any questions at all, I’d love to hear from you. I manage my own time and am a full time pet care professional so I have the flexibility to meet your pet's usual walk schedules, feeding time and administering of medication (if needed). When staying in your home, I will bring my own food and toiletries, I can also bring my own bedding if required, and even a single or double blow-up bed. I will only require water and electricity and will return the home to you as you left it for me. When boarding, your pets become part of our family, my aim is to make them feel as comfortable as they would in their own home. Your pet is my top priority, so please make me aware of their routines, preferences and training techniques/keywords and I will ensure these are kept to. I know how it feels to leave your pet(s) when you are away, constantly thinking about how they are and what they are getting up to! So, rest assured, I will take plenty of photos and keep you updated as much as you would like. I understand it is a big decision to leave your pet in a new environment, or to invite someone into your home and look after your pet and belongings! Therefore, I always recommend a meet-and-greet (at no extra charge), and am available to message or call with any questions to help build a rapport.
“Having needed to get my greyhound Rummy in somewhere for the weekend whilst I was away, I could not have been more lucky that Kane was available. After having never boarded Rummy in someone else's home I was a bit anxious but after conversing with Kane and then taking Rummy and seeing where he was staying those worries evaporated. Rummy settled in straight away. Kane kept me updated a couple of times a day and asked what my preference would be for the number of updates which I thought was very kind. When picking Rummy up he was pleased to see me but I could tell he'd had a great time. I have a very content dog and will 100% be using Kane in the future.”

“I knew Thomas was right the minute I met him. I met Thomas before we went away and immediately knew he would be the perfect person to look after our dog. Thomas sent lovely pictures of wonderful walks every day. We couldn't have been happier. Thank you so much Thomas and I know Rae will be so happy to come and stay again.”

“Buddy had a brilliant weekend stay with Amanda. She is great and the facilities for the dogs are excellent. Super photos of Buddy happy and enjoying the lovely walks couldn’t have asked for more. Thank you so much 😊”

“Extremely happy with booking and would highly recommend Aneta. Aneta looked after my cockapoo for an overnight stay. He's normally a very nervous and clingy dog but from the get go Aneta was extremely professional and planned Berties stay in advance to ensure that he was made as comfortable and happy as possible. She took him on plenty of walks and showed him extensive attention and affection throughout his stay. Making sure he felt at home. I loved getting regular updates and photos showing how he was getting on. Bertie left happy and stress free. What more could you ask for? Very happy, thank you!”

“Amanda was fantastic, she made me feel welcome and reassured. I had regular photo updates of how well they settled in. My two cockapoos had full attention and were well looked after. It was lovely knowing that my two girls were safe and happy with Amanda and my two having their doggies for playtime and company; also being in a home environment. They had a lovely walk and when I picked them up they were calm and happy to see me. I highly recommend Amanda, she is kind, friendly and understanding. I would advise booking in advance before booking any holidays. My two girls are looking forward to staying with Amanda and her doggies again soon.”

“Brooke did an amazing job looking after our dog! It was definitely a home away from home for our boy and we felt really comfortable knowing he was in good hands and being looked after so well. We got lots of pictures and updates on how he was getting in whilst we were away which was brilliant. Both her dogs Poppy and Moose were also very friendly and adorable and we have made some new doggy friends for our boy!”

“Shannon was great. It was our first time leaving our 6 month old very energetic puppy, Otto, with a stranger. Otto seemed to have a lovely time, some good walks, met a lot of other people and dogs and Shannon even did a bit of training with him. She’s clearly a massive dog lover and this shows in the care she gives the animals she looks after.”

“Lina was great with our dog, home from home and regularly updated on what he was up to, with photos and messages. I Would recommend Lina and her partner to anyone in need of dog care and will book again for Ronnie”

“I can highly recommend Kim and her family as the best dog friendly people to leave your pet with. Buddy is 16 in a month, deaf and a bit slow but he had a wonderful overnight stay with Kim and her beautiful golden retriever girls. Kim sent us a picture to show how settled he was and we enjoyed our concert knowing he was loved and settled.. Thank you very much.”

About: Growing up we had a menagerie of pets over the years ranging from cats, dogs, rabbits, chickens and goats. As an adult myself, we took in a feral kitten for 12 years before she passed on and now have a four year old Labrador Retriever which we have trained from being a pup. I love animals and looking after other people’s pets is a great way to spend more time with them. We have a wide range of pets in the family as a whole so I have first hand experience of a range of breeds and personality types. I work part-time so have plenty of time to fit in walks and playtime. I prefer weekdays and within school hours as I have 3 children to work around (although they love animals too!) We are currently in the process of building our own home, so it’s sometimes not possible to look after other people’s pets at our place at the moment, however, we can spend lots of time either at your home or out and about nearby. I know all the best spots for walking our own dog or can follow a route your dog prefers.

All clients and pets will be treated professionally. Punctuality is something which I have always been strong at. Animal health and well-being is always my priority.

“Ziggy had a great day with Amanda, and had fun playing with her dog and Zero who was also staying with her at the time. Would totally recommend Amanda to anyone else looking for a dog sitter in the area, and would definitely leave Ziggy with her again if we come back to the area in the future!”

About: We don't have any pets but we usually take care of our friends dog when they're on holidays 😌 your dog will definitely be fed, walked and played with! So if your dog loves kids, it may be a perfect place for him to spend some time 👌 I am working mostly remotly, so it will be easy to schedule in walks with your pet and other care. Apart from school runs and a few ours some days a week in the evening to go to afterschool activities we are at home most of the time. If husband is not working and I am out with kids he would stay at home with a pet we are looking after. We will adapt our activities and make sure your pet has the best time in our care We have two daughters 3 yr old and 6 year old who loves little pets, but has never hurt any pet as both are a bit cautious. We all will love to play with your per throw toys and run around. We have medium sized back garden which is fully fenced and chance for pet to run away through the gaps as there's none. We would take your dog for a walk twice a day and of course feed him according to his needs and how he's used to at home.

“It was such a relief that Sarah helped us out at short notice while we were away on holiday, she had great communication and she immediately was so loving and affectionate to our dog. She kept us updated through the day so we had a completely worry free trip, and we’d highly recommend her! Thankyou Sarah”

Fed them and cared for them well. The property was very secure and immaculate. The puppies had free range of the house and garden. We were so impressed and relieved, we are booking with Paul again. We would highly recommend this wonderful friendly guy.”

About: I'm single and travel too often to have my own dog, which is why I'm keen to love and look after other people's pets on a part-time basis. Mostly experience of labs, retrievers and collies. Less into ankle-biters and barking dogs. Only friendly hounds, please. I'm a writer who works from home and would love to take your dog for walks around North Norfolk, or entertain them at my cottage. Also available to house/dog sit at yours. I have plenty of spare time all days of the week. I have a fenced garden, and the environment is safe and secure. My village is very quiet. Dogs are welcome on furniture or on bed. Keen to take your dog for walks along the beach. FYI my car may not be suitable for transporting your dog - if it can fit in a carrier, great, otherwise I might worry about the leather.

About: I’ve had lots of experience looking after my own dogs and cared for dogs for friends and family. I currently have a lively 3 year old Springer Cocker Spaniel cross called Hector who I’ve raised from being a puppy. I’ve previously cared for dogs with special health needs, and will work around any requirements you’ve got for your four legged friends. I also used to have 3 horses who required a lot of care and attention, and used to work on a yard at weekends looking after people’s horses. I know how important it is to stick to each animals needs and schedule. I work from home so I’m always around for toilet breaks and lunchtime walks. My availability is usually Monday-Friday but weekends are possible if given notice. I have one dog and no other pets at home.
