7 French Bulldogs Freaking the Eff Out

If anything can be said about the lively and expressive nature of the French bulldog, it’s that they certainly know how to take a scene to the next level.

Without further ado, here are 11 histrionic, fart fearing, and straight-up silly French bulldogs living life one riotous overreaction at a time.

Half the speed, twice the excitement

Check out this impromptu slo-mo freak out. Somehow this dog’s plight is so much more amusing in the vein of a Matrix movie. This French bulldog has definitely entered the rabbit hole.

Ben is a little camera shy

Presumably, this dog is not a fan of the camera…which is a shame, because we get such a kick out of his twitchy tics and sassy grunts…or in other words, “Ben just being Ben.”

 Making friends is easy

Especially when you’re as cute as this bouncy French bulldog. Even crazy behaviour is pardoned, because let’s be real—it doesn’t get much cuter than that maroon sweater. Despite the difference in size, we feel this is the beginning of a beautiful friendship.

Pfffffft!

Whoever smelt it dealt it, right? In the case of this perplexed pooch, he can’t seem to figure out where the persistent flatulence is coming from.

Digging for gold

Dogs will be dogs, right? We have no doubt this determined pal will go far in life.

This dog is not a fan of windscreen wipers…

Back and forth. Back and forth. Back and forth. Back and forth.

…and neither is this one

We think the dogs in the past two clips should meet.

Spunky? Yes. Adorable? Duh. Drama queens? Every now and then. The French bulldog’s zeal for life and tendency to blow tiny things completely and hilariously out of proportion is a quirky mark of this brilliant breed and we love them even more for it.

And if you’re ever in a jam and need a friendly sitter to look after your little bundle of joy while you’re away, Rover.com has plenty of sitters who provide dog boarding and cuddles.
